big screen thats the best feature

published

very disappointed, with latest big TV, ( my 3rd Samsung in 7 years ) it has average colour, puts out a serious amount of heat, no EPG, a stupidly small remote overcrowded with very small buttons, made for tiny fingers and way too many apps that require double or triple clicking to clear them from your screen, if you simply want to check what's on via the internal samsung guide, .. TV was purchased with samsung 200W sound bar that does the job and thankfully can be operated via the TV remote ( prime reason for this additional purchase ) wouldn't recommend this extremely average product

Purchased in January 2021 at Harvey Norman Retail Stores - Electronics for $1,480.00.

Awesome TV!!

published

Excellent picture and great colours. I am very happy with this TV. My only negative would be the remote size, it's so frustrating to use in the dark or without looking at it as the buttons are too small and close together.

great BUT

published

I purchased my 75" 2 weeks ago and find it to be an amazing tv. the only negative is that I have to buy a smart remote to use the voice control option. I got in touch with The Good Guys whom I bought it from but was told to get in touch with Samsung who in turn told me to get in touch with The Good Guys. round and around we go. In the end Samsung gave me a retailer where I could purchase a smart remote at a cost of nearly $58. A bit like buying a car but if you want all the functions of the car to work you have to buy a special key. Surley a SMART TV WITH VOICE CONTROL SHOULD COME WIYH THE SMART REMOTE

Purchased in June 2021.

Excellent size for gaming and streaming shows.

published

Positives:
Easy to use interface. Never needed the manual to know how to operate.
Colour and brightness is excellent.
Sound quality is acceptable.
So far have not had any software glitches like freezing up or screen refresh issues.
The provided Amazon Prime Video, Netflix and YouTube app is perfect. Easy to use and streams flawlessly.

Negatives:
The remote control is harder to use as it lacks the ability to point and click.
HDMI port location is rather hard to reach if one were to mount the TV using a slim mount like I have. It is quite a challenge to plug in new devices.

Purchased in March 2021 at The Good Guys.

Disappointment with no 3D

published

When we purchased this "smart" TV UA75NU7100WXXY at Harvey Norman we assumed that it would be 3D compatible noting it is a new model with new technology and our old (2013) Sony Bravia "Smart" TV had it. Charged up all the 3D glasses sat down with the family for a day of 3D movies on the big 70 inch screen and discovered after trying to play a 3D DVD, checking the settings and phoning Samsung that this TV does not have 3D. Other than not having 3D as we expected we are pretty satisfied with the TV and will just have to go back to the old much smaller Sony Bravia to watch 3D DVD's.

Purchased in January 2021 at Harvey Norman for $2,676.00.

Great TV

published

Purchased this TV over 5 months ago and could not be happier. This smart TV has exceptional picture quality and easily connects to the home wifi system. Its remote is easy to use and it has a great TV guide menu. It looks exceptionally good when mounted to the wall. Would highly recommend this unit and the price is reasonable.

UA75NU7100WXXY (75")

Have the network and software issues been fixed in these models? I own a series 6 55" and I absolutely sick and tired of the ridiculous network issues and rubbish built in software. Picture quality is 2nd to none but hesitant to outlay $2K on a new TV and get burnt by the same issues.

Does this tv support Foxtel 4K?

Hi, I don’t have Foxtel so I’m not sure but I watch lots of 4K videos from YouTube so I think Foxtel 4K should be supported by this TV. Thanks.

Hi Hutcho, thanks for your question. The UA75NU7100WXXY NU7100 Series 7 does support Foxtel 4K IQ4 - When you plug in the HDMI cable, you must turn on the setting for 4K of connected port via Settings and the image will be displayed in 4K - As it defaults to OFF when you plug in the HDMI you must change this setting manually after you plug it in. Hope this answers your question!
