Lied to by staff and Supervisor and Not Received Delivery due to Samsung's Mistake
1) Samsung provides incomplete shipping details to StarTrack
2) On Tue I spoke to Ron (Samsung “Customer Service”) to have the shipping details updated. As the supervisor had already left the office he could not complete that process as he required supervisor authorisation. Told me it would be completed on Wed morning when the office re-opens. I asked him to call me once that is done to confirm that all is in order and that the delivery would be made. Ron then provided misleading delivery information about the way StarTrack processes d...Read more
eliveries, despite me advising him that the information he just told me is untrue and inaccurate as by now I had spoken to StarTrack myself on two occasions. 3) On Wed morning, Ron did not call me. I called StraTrack, who had not received any updated information. So called Samsung again to speak to Ron. Was told that all was sorted out. After not receiving any update I called again and was told that I could pick-up the delivery at the StarTrack Depot or have it redelivered. I told him he that he can send a courier to the depot and have it delivered to my office as originally ordered. He did not have the authority to do so and needed supervisor approval. He said he would call me back once he had spoken to the supervisor. I never received a call back. I then called again a few hours later to find out what is going on and after a lengthy discussion with the supervisor I was told that he was looking into what can be arranged and would call me back. Did not receive a call back again. So I called again at 5pm and was advised by Kyle and then Mike (Mark) that my item was delivered to a local Post Office, but he did not know which one because he didn’t ask. He said he would find out and call me back. No call back received. The simple truth, Mike lied to me about the order being delivered to a post office.1 comment

S10+ ridiculous and awful experience
First, to be honest I love samsung phones. But this time what I experienced in Samsung store and online service were just awful and ridiculous. The S10+ supposed to be perfect one because it just released these days. But when I set up the phone, I cannot find the samsung pay app. It was just gone! So I went to the samsung store in Sydney at George St to ask them if there any issues with this phone. The stuff told me there were some software problems happened and they need reflash this phone. Ok, then after the reflash, the phone doesn't work an...Read more
ymore!! Is this the latest phone from Samsung??? And they told me because the order was from online, I cannot change it in store??? WTH?? But the phone was broken in the damn store. They told me to contact the customer service and the stuff even wrote a note for me that what I need to say. So I called the online customer service and explained the issue. They said within 24 hours the supervisor will call me. And I didn't get the reply! After that I called again, the supervisor told me he would contact me within 2 hours. Fine I didn't get the reply. Then I called again, the customer service told me just take the phone back the sydney store at George St. They have contacted the store and they will have solution. So I went to the store, explained the issues in the same damn store! Same reply I got in this store. Finally, a manager came out and called the online customer service for me. Then the senior customer service ask me to leave the phone in store. And they will collect it and replace it as soon as possible. Guys, I just don't get this process and why it is so complex!!! I'm still waiting for the new phone. IF these things happen in the Apple, they will just replace it without any words. So disappointed!!! I just used the new S10+ for about 2 hours and issued happened!!!1 comment

A full house of Samsung
Over the years, we have bought air conditioners, phones, tablets, computer monitors, fridges, batteries and power banks, a huge number of items from Samsung. We have had a few problems with products breaking down under warranty, but they have been fixed. The only reason they don't get a 5 star rating is the sheer number of calls that need to be made to get something resolved (Usually 8-10).
One issue that I was very impressed with, is that I bought what I thought was a genuine Samsung fast charger online. Same price, identical look, everythin...Read more
g. It performed poorly, so I took it apart and it was shockingly dangerous. I reported this to Samsung, sending the counterfeit charger as evidence, and not only did they take my report seriously, they sent me a free charger as a thank you. No company is perfect, and I've had my frustrations with Samsung, but I have to say, they are definitely above average.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

SAMSUNG PRODUCTS DREADFUL AND NO SUPPORT
Samsung products low quality and customers service, nonexistent!
Bought a fridge freezer 4 years ago. All the plastic (75% plastic) has discoloured with a yellow tinge and doors are so thin that any pressure even whilst cleaning dents. The plastic is deteriorating and cracking. Most f the plastic shelves now have cracks and some desperately needs replacing.
Bearing in mind the fridge freezer is only 4 years old and trying not to be a throw away society and stop adding more plastic into the environment this product is definitely not eco friendly...Read more

Samsung; if there was a zero option I would mark it as such
Unbelievably atrocious support. I recently moved into a dwelling that has a Samsung split system installed; no manual is included
The remote has 17 buttons which is difficult to familiarise with without a manual.
It is getting close to 4 months now that I have been trying to obtain a replacement manual; I have spent over 4 hours on their chat line, which have been entirely wasted.
Each time I am told that I will be contacted within 24-48 hours; never happens. I have sent a photo of the remote at least 6 times at their request, but nobody r...Read more

Don't bother with warranty
Got the new samsung note 9 and I've only had it for a few months. Some how the pen will no longer stay in it's area and seems I've gotta pay for pen replacement because it doesn't cover under warranty. Pathetic, if it was Apple it would 100% be cover under warranty.
After this I'm going back with Apple.

Non existent support
Dear Mr Samsung
1) For the first time we had to contact you Mr Samsung
2) We got a case number and 24 hours later we got a text with another reference number to call them with.
3) So we called again with our new Ref number and running through everything again
4) The person on the line was already armed with a script that said we cannot help you, it was so obvious
5) We just got palmed off to a local appliance repairer
6) We tried very hard to know why, especially being a fridge with food in it but all we got at the end is zero tech help, bugger all, nothing which is exactly what we will do when choosing our new fridge: Zero bugger all nothing Samsung - EVER.

Works well
I purchased a Samsung 55" Smart TV a few years back and loved it so much I purchased another recently. The only disappointment was they changed the stand. The new model isn't as aesthetically pleasing and looks quite cheap. Otherwise happy.

Ripped Off. Never buy Samsung products
Bought a Samsung galaxy s9. Offered headphones as an incentive. Followed complicated redemption process, told not eligible cause insufficient proof of purchase. Bought phone on Optus contract. Optus said just quote order number and redemption process would be ok. Samsung and Optus cheated me out of $350 headphones. I am never buying a product from Samsung again and will post on social media my experience in dealing with them. They are corporate theives.

samsung washing machine recall
i have had samsung ring me 6 times in 3 days to get me to fill in the recall paperwork ( different person each time). at first i wasn't even offered a replacement until i read the paperwork and it said i could have one. unfortunately samsung do not make a washing machine that fitted into our very small limited space so i have been out and purchased a new washing machine ( different brand) . have sent in the paperwork 3 times for the refund and for them to make arrangements to pick up my recalled washing machine. they cannot refund me the money ...Read more

Be careful buyers Samsung will find excuses to do repairs under Warranty.
My S8 phone developed a Usb charging issue with Moisture detected Warning without taking it any where near water. Be Mindful guys According to samsung it is a IP68 rated. I sent it for repairs with samsung. After 4 days i am being told that I have to fix and pay for tiny crack on back corner of my phone before they proceed to fix the Usb Charging port but that crack has nothing to do without USB charging port. I was never Advised this by samsung Chat nor by samsung centre staff. They wanted to make quick money out of little crack to cover warra...Read more
nty costs. My phone was in perfect working condition. All good with battery and wireless charging except Usb port. Technician wanted me to pay for crack but that old crack has nothing to do with the Usb charging port. When i was speaking to case manager he disconnected the phone call on my face and sent me a email stating samsung does not believe my phone is covered by warranty. All of sudden he deemed my phone not covered by warranty. So, be very careful in buying samsung products, any person sitting at headoffice in bad mood can deem your samsung product not covered under warranty without much explanation and will make excuse to honor the warranty. He was so rude and never tried to explain what happened to Usb port in IP68 rated phone or advised why it is important to fix crack before fixing Usb port. My phone with my other samsung products (TV,Washing machine, Microwave) all are registered with samsung. I am out of my phone and its a 5th day today. I trusted samsung with their products and invested heavily in it. This was the first time i had a issue with samsung product and samsung customer service or loyalty was no where to be seen. At least i deserve a fair explanation from a samsung. I have learnt my lesson guys, be careful in considering samsung products.Once they take your money you are by yourself.Similar opinion? Samsung S8 is for repair the 4th (FOURTH) time in 13 Months within the 2 Year Warranty
Sadly to say I never ever will touch a Samsung Product again due to their pathetic Customer Service. I had to sent back my Mobile phone Samsung S8 to Samsung Repair the 4th time due a terrible Screen Burn (also called Ghosting). I just been told that I can get it repaired AGAIN or they will send it back unrepaired. I just filled out a form to the ACCC (Australian Competition & Consumer Commission) including Repair Invoice attachment and reported them as they probably have not red the laws regarding replacements or reimbursement when there is a ...Read more

Questions & Answers
Lewis S.asked
I had purchased a Note 10 from a Samsung store on the 7th November during the time the earbud redemption program was active. I was in two minds of buying the phone but the free ear buds were an enticing proposition. I filled the appropriate online form with all the info required. I hadn't received any feedback as to whether my claim was verified A week later so I decided to call Samsung ear buds call centre. Finally a half hour later I got through and was told they forgot to inform me that my claim was verified. On the 13th of November my claim was verified. It has been stuck like that ever since to this day. Made many attempts to call but all calls were in excess of 20 minutes+ before the phone cuts out. As if this is a deliberate act to reflect the problem; keep them in the dark. The 30 day limit is soon encroaching and I highly doubt Samsung will honour their promise. This ear buds redemption promotion has Simply been a form of bait IMO to lure honest customers to their product and put these customers aside while Samsung continue doing business. No communication and no care for the customer's interests. My redemption number is, RDP0000136904. Lewis.

Hi Lewis, there is currently a delay in the shipment of your promotional gift. However, you will receive an SMS from Australia Post to your registered mobile number with delivery tracking details once your promotional gift is dispatched.

I appreciate your reply but why put this delay onto Australia Post. Samsung haven't even posted it yet to register. What a lousy excuse on your part. You and Samsung ought to be ashamed. I really expected better from Samsung.

When can I get a feedback about my lost product?
I ordered water filter for my fridge through Samsung online as I thought it would be less to worried about. But it proved much more problematic.
I ordered the product online on Dec 28, 2018 and received a message saying it’s going to be delivered on 3rd Jan and I would be contacted before delivered. On Jan 4th and 5, I checked my mail box and front yard and there was no card or any package about the product but my order was marked as Delivered online. I reported this issue to Samsung via 1300 call last week twice and they promised me response within 48 hrs. However, I haven’t heard anything after 4 days passed. No update, emails or any feedback. This is the worst online purchase experience I’ve ever had in my life.
