Samsung Battery Issue
Battery Got too hot

I have been to Samsung Store in Penrith for about three times to complain about problems persisting with the Samsung S9.
1. App crashing because of the heat generated from the battery.
2. Battery Life not lasting long enough.
Both the first two visits entitled me to have the data backed up else Samsung won't touch the phone and i will lose the data.

Samsung center in Penrith NSW 2750 and I told them about the same. They said it will be quicker if you paid for the service or the assessment may take 5-7 working days which i cannot afford as this is my work phone. Now that the phone battery has been replaced ( if there was no problem why did Samsung replace the battery) if there was a problem i shouldn't be charged to change the Screen as the assessment came back with a faulty battery.1 comment

Ear Pod Scam S10E
Bought the s10e and redeemed my ear pods it was a deal they had on . Got a comfirmation email then 4 wks later they said sorry u havent redeemes properly so u wont b getting earpods big scamm dont go with samsung ! Also had rang them multiple times only to have idiots that dont speak english and people who just keep putting u on hold and transferring you . Worst company and worst customer service . Big scammers ! Wont ever be buyimg a samsung again next time ill b going with an iphone . Samsung should be ashamed not even worth 1 star rating .

Tv switches on and off
I have a 2013 Samsung Tv that switches off and on while I’m trying to watch a dvd. As you can imagine it is not only frustrating but ruins the movie. So I am left with watching it on my computer. Also I notice using the volume on the remote can also switch it off

No one can help me
Ive had a faulty tv remote for 2.5 years. Every time i get onto technical support they ask me to do the same bluetooth tests which show issue with remote.

Brand new Samsung active2 watch, Overheating and 2 hours battery life in Standalone mode
I recently bought an active 2 watch LTE. The first day I bought the watch, I experienced a problem overheating and battery draining 1% every minute. I contacted the customer care, VOC (the pinnacle of escalations according to Samsung), none of them solved my problems, rather they escape from the problem by giving invalid solutions. The customer care people only claim that the product is according to Samsung standard. I wrote a review on their website, but they never posted it. I can see there are other people with a similar problem. I provided them time stamp camera photos of the date and time of 100% full and low battery, but they do not care about the customer complaint.

Buy a 4k TV to watch 4k movies on - But don't count on the USB working!
A Samsung UHD 6 series 40" UHD TV was a nice gift. Until the TV was unplugged for ONE WHOLE NIGHT and COMPLETELY crippled it's ability to read ANY USB without FREEZING. Samsung advice: "use a different usb/replace the motherboard/download our trash app" TO NO AVAIL! Never go Samsung, ever.

Sound bar is not loud enough. Complete rip-off. Also, why is my smart tv showing me adds for a streaming service? Did I not buy my tv? I did not agreed to adds on my fully paid tv.

How is this company still operating? ZERO customer care.
The single worst experience ive had with a company.
My issue started with my galaxy s9 plus having to be repaired, phone was great up until is was accidentally damaged and needed repairing, the screen uniformity was brilliant, amazing blacks and colour which is not a surprise considering its an oled, i loved it, then comes the time for me to get it repaired.

Same issue with everyone
Purchased a samsung s10 earbuds from JB HiFi Oxley hoping to get the wireless earbuds promotion, similar to everyone else. Did not end up getting anything. Re-uploaded the receipts, serial/IMIE numbers after saying it had an issue. This is done within 30 days of purchase and yet no reply. Sent 2 emails and made 4 calls. Each call automatically hung up around 20-30mins of ringing, saying its busy.

Samsung bud redemption a joke!
Bought a Tab S6 from Harvey Norman about 3 weeks ago. As this was going to be a present I submitted a claim for the buds so I could bundle it up. I registered the redemption and uploaded the receipt and a picture of the serial number label on the box. Just recently I received an email saying they want a picture of the serial number. Really??? What an absolute waste of time. On the phone for 20 minutes on hold and then automatically hangs up. This redemption system is a joke. S10 galaxy buds giveaway scam.
I purchased an S10 over a pixel3 because of the Samsung galaxy buds giveaway. I submitted my claim for the buds and now nearly 3 months later I have been told my claim has been denied.
I am not the only one experiencing this issue leading me to believe that the giveaway was a scam.
Wasted many hours trying to speak to someone to resolve the issue and so far two weeks later I haven't had any sign that they're going to co-operate.

Bad customer service!
I have been using Samsung phones last 5 years, Im happy with phone but whenever I have issues with phones, Samsung service made me upset. And they argue with customers, but Apple services never ever argue and try to solve the problem, Samsung service don't mind. Samsung head office must train Australiain Samsung services staffs.

Screen failed after 13 months!
I bought my girlfriend a brand new Samsung Galaxy Note 9
We purchased the phone in Thailand as that's where she lives most of the year.
After 13 months, the screen failed (all the colors went green) and they refused to cover it under warranty.
The phone was never dropped, was in a case and had a tempered glass screen protector.
For some reason, Samsung has a 2 year warranty here in Australia but in Thailand, it's only 12 months!
1 month out of warranty and we have to spend almost 1/3 of the total price again, just to repair it.
Outrageous!

Also, it's pathetic that such an expensive device, only 13 months old, fails on it's own and the repair is around 30+% of a new device. As I explained to the consultant over the phone, we WERE a dedicated "Samsung" family, having all Samsung products including 2x 4K TV's, Blu-Ray player, Galaxy Note 8, Galaxy Note 9, Samsung top-load washing machine, Samsung microwave etc.. but I have now Blacklisted your brand... and purchased a new LG washing machine instead of Samsung. Warranty Repair - Fantastic Work, Customer Contact - Not So Good...
The fingerprint scanner failed on my Galaxy S9+ within the warranty period.
It's somewhat awkward to arrange to get a warranty repair, you need an appointment, fair enough, but the online chat rep that I used wasn't quite clear enough on what I needed to have removed from the device before booking it in, so I had to leave and return once I'd totally cleared the device. I understand this is a prudent policy but I had to go away again which is a little irritating.

a checklist of things to be removed from the device before booking in and were very clear on explaining the policy regarding repair work. I did request they email me when the repair was complete, as obviously, I can't take a call/sms letting me know. The repair job was very fast, in fact, it was done the next day. But Samsung didn't tell me, so 3 days later I call the check and was pretty cranky when I knew it had been sitting there a few days awaiting collection. I didn't get an email. The quality of the work was excellent. It looks as a repair job should, like nothing has been done. All too often with electronics repair, it's always a bodge job to last the warranty period and something is scratched/bent/wonky after. So great job!1 comment

Awful service of samsung and samsung TTP Marbury staff
I am Samsung lover and using Samsung from last 10 odd years roughly. I recently bought one of the latest mobile phone note 10+ outright from Harvey Norman. Phone started giving some issues from the day 1 itself while we were trying to get some help from Samsung phone specialist in store itself. Later on some more issues came up and we spoke to Harvey Norman to which they told us to contact Samsung which is kind of fair enough. Harvey Norman even told us that if they can give you some sort of reference number they will swap the phone but Samsung staff at TTP modbury refused to assess there and told us to go back to Harvey Norman for quicker process. Harvey Norman told us that they have sent many customers to the Samsung TTP and they served them straightaway and Harvey Norman replaced their products and they were surprised to this behaviour of Samsung's staff. While Harvey people were trying to help us by resetting and all the possible options they could do... I called to VOC Samsung and explained the whole thing and she was even surprised and didn't know why the TTP staff didn't help us. Moreover the unit like note 10+ which is $1700 product playing like this and Samsung can't help. That's ridiculous. From a Samsung Lover to a hater!! Redemption CON!!
What a complete joke!! My wife and I recently brought a Samsung washing machine and also a dryer, both came with a $150 money back. We went online on 26th August 2022 and submitted our claim and this was approved on 27th August 2022. In the email it stated this would take up to 45 days to process and funds into my account. On 23rd October 2022 I contacted Samsung and advised I'm still waiting for my $300 refund. The person stated my name is not on the list to be refunded yet and was unsure when this will be done. Wednesday 30th October called Samsung (3rd Party) that advsied me there is no time frame for when 'back office' will refund the $300 and stated it has all been aproved and it's just waiting back office to refund. I feel like contacting Fair Trade again to raise a complaint. I have tablets, mobile phones, tv's and fridge/freezer all Samsung.... now I'm thinking about changing them all!!!! Mickey Mouse operation
Needed to replace back of my Galaxy 8+ cover (why would you make it out of glass?) Only to be told that my model came out of Vietnam and so needed special tools and they couldn't help. Further research showed that I could buy a replacement back and tools on Ebay for just $17-, the special tool story was pure crap! Are people having issues with the One Connect cable that connects the Samsung TV and the One Connect box ?? Being proprietary it means that if there is a problem with the cable then the TV cannot work. Samsung have been unresponsive to numerous requests for information regards a replacement cable arriving - now waited 10 business days (and no contact from Samsung)

Why does Samsung Australia dishonour Australian warranties in contrast to much smaller competitors who have excellent warranty, return, refund practices, Samsung seems to be a nightmare to claim any warranty issues with? (going by reviews here/elsewhere, personal experience).
