Awful customer service! Will not honour manufacturer warranty. Utterly useless call centre.
I bought a Samsung Add Wash 11kgs front loader washing machine from Good Guys in WA, December 2017. The machine is ONLY 1.5yrs old. Two days ago, during a 59min wash cycle, at the last 4 min final spin, I hear a massive noise. Sounds like helicopter rotors taking off. Cycle completes, open the door to find the a massive crack on the inside of the door. Lodge a claim. Send in 1 photo as requested, get a call back saying it’s deemed as “customer fault”. er I’m told. There was NOTHING stuck anywhere. How is it the machine worked perfectly for 55 mins then? During which there was many spins? Annoying poor explanation. And they have the gall to tell me if I want someone to look at it physically, I have to bear the cost! I’ve already paid for a very expensive Paperweight along with extended warranty. Absolutely ridiculous. I expected much more from a company like Samsung. The Aussie call centre is atrocious. I am very unhappy and will be pursuing this.

Samsung A5 - Faulty phone - Very very poor customer service from Samsung Australia
I'm facing issues with my Samsung A5. It is restarting itself anytime and not charging. I have been to Samsung service centre twice and my handset is still doing the same. First visit they changed the motherboard and told me that It's all fixed. But problem starts again after 2 weeks. I went to service centre again and they sent it off for repair. According to them they did all checks and they couldn't not find any issues with the phone. Phone started doing the same Just after 3 hours of collecting. oke. The thing is when you go there to buy product, then you don't need appointment because they want your money but when you go there to seek help because they sold you a faulty product you require to book appointment. o they are going to change motherboard second time now. He also told me that this is second repair not third. Worst service ever by Samsung Chermside store
Worst service ever by Samsung Chermside store with Anthony. My new S9 isnt even 9 months old and since the beginning, people cant hear me well with loud crackling noises and muffled calls at the other end. The technicians have been trained to lie that there is no issue, they blame it on the network and today Anthony refused to walk with the earbuds in his ears so there would be no crackling noise heard. I could also clearly hear the noise when i called him on his phone as he was standing in front of me, but he said no, there is no noise. Ridiculous! Never buy a samsung! You will regret all the money lost.

Shame Samsung - shocking Service
Latest Samsung 4K TV faulty screen after 9 months. Total disregard for customers - multiple phone calls on a warranty that is not honoured. It’s the TOTAL DISREGARD for customer that is something to be ashamed of. Been advised its been repaired (twice 24/5 and 27/5) even though it was not taken to be repaired ( sorry our mistake) ; told a case would be raised and someone would be in contact - (did not happen 27/5) ; had a voice message left with me to return a call ( only to phone back and be told sorry we rang you in error - 31/5) ; been told a case would be raised (sorry it did not happen as promised last time ) - finally received call from case manager to call back - I rang back - was told that there was no honouring of the faulty Samsung product as discussed with case manager ( even though I am yet to have a conversation with a case manager 4/6 - oops our mistake .) Told willhave a phone call from the case manager but if they don’t phone you, you can call back ..... As at today ( 6/6) no call back but an email “ you’ve spoken to a case manager and we will not repair” Its simply unbelievable. The sequence of events and 8 phone calls is one thing but the absolute TOTAL DiSREGARD for consumers is shameful Samsung. Bought Samsung QLED 7 Series in Feb 2022 and I got myself a Pandora box!
-The BRAND NEW TV starts flickering after 40-50 mins and blackout every 10 secs after that.
-Lodged complaint with Samsung Customer care - Technician was sent 3 times ;

No solution for my phone’s problem and if I couldn’t accept they call security.

Samsung washing machine
Bought Samsung washing machine $1150 8 months ago. During a load the laundry was flooded and when l opened door the metal ring that holds the rubber seal on was in the washing machine with the clothes and rubber seal damaged. Door would no longer register as closed as metal ring was no longer on. Rang Samsung service centre and was told that seals are not covered. I went to Parramatta service center as my samsung J7Pro phone screen was damaged and need urgent repair as it was total useless. The staff looked at it and asked if I have booked an appointment. When I said no, the staff asked me to book an appointment and come back on your appointment time and day. I asked why you cant take my phone and send for repair, the staff answered said they all are busy and can't accept any phone for service without appointment. S8 started overheating while charging the charging port melted with a horrible burning plastic smell.
I took the phone to the carousel service centre in Perth and was told that repairs would take approx 48 hours. I explained I get called for work through that phone and I was told I will have it by Monday.

Love my phone, couldn'tn live without it. Accessories however have issues.
Went into the physical store to get help with an accessory that had issues. They had no idea how to rectify even though the problem seems to be National, if not world wide.
They had no idea of the issue and said they had to take the problem to their staff forums to get more information and that I was to return to the store at another date for further information.
Of course, this physical store is quite some distance from home so following it up with Samsung online is the best option for me.

I bought a brand new nu8000 82inch tv, does not even turn on, just get a flash of black lines and then nothing, called Samsung and they said it is physical damage and won’t replace, we have not even used the tv for more than a minute and they are blaming us, there is not a scratch on the tv anywhere, we were really careful unpacking the tv. I would understand if I bought a second hand tv but brand new to not even turn on and it is my fault, and my insurance company won’t pay either as they said there is no physical sign of it being dropped or mishandled, even though we have accidental cover on our policy, the insurance company said it is Samsung’s responsibility to replace. Washing Machine 7kg wash front loader 4 years old and now beyond repair
Had this washing machine for four years and the spinner has collapsed, has been other issues under warranty. Will never buy another product from this company. I usually get 10 years or more out of a washing machine. For the price I paid I expected better.

Buy from a company that looks after you, Samsung won't.
I could find a great product from Samsung and be offered it for a 90 percent discount, I don't want it because if anything goes wrong, SAMSUNG is the worst customer service I have ever dealt with, this has not happened 3 times and NO ONE cares so Samsung I am a BIG buyer of everything but I promise you this, I will never buy SAMSUNG ever again. Customer service is so important. Take a note from Breville, Excellent 100 points on products and CS. Ended up not making a warranty claim due to being lied to more than once so I have the extended warranty and will now use that, return it and get a full refund and buy a Panasonic which I know look after their customers. Samsung, you suck. Shame the Koreans can't see what you're doing.

Samsung care plus lie - galaxys10+
I bought a galaxy s10 plus form official samsung store after a research. It was convenient because i can add Samsung care + which suppose to give me a replacement in case my phone breaks. Last phone was s7 and brake the screen within two month after buy it and learn from the experience.
In the store they told me that they cant process Samsung care+ form there, i should do it online and i have 30 days to do it. OK sounds good to me and take the pre sale.

I bought a Samsung Qled TV (QA55Q7FAMWXXY 55"(140cm) QLED UHD Smart TV) from The Good Guys in May 2018. We have been reasonably happy with it but for the price it still has a couple of issues - we constantly have to reinstall a couple of the apps and the TV guide doesn't update nearly as quickly as our old 8 year old Samsung TV. around $4500. We have been keen Samsung purchasers for years - phones, tablets, TVs, home theatre system and sound bar. What have we got for such loyalty? Totally stuffed around by Samsung in regard to our latest purchase, the HW-K950/XY sound bar. It hasn't worked properly from day 1 and after too many phone calls to Samsung service to count, troubleshooting over and over and over again, 3 times in the service centre, over 7 months later I am told that all they can offer me is another repair. I was originally told to take it back to Harvey Norman for a replacement. This turned out to be wrong and when I lugged in the massive soundbar, subwoofer, speakers and remote I was told so by the team member at Harvey Norman. He tried to get to the bottom of it and the Australian Samsung rep said it is very common for the wrong thing to be told to the customer by the untrained overseas call centre staff. It was taken in from there for its first repair...I have been promised call backs that never happened, been regularly given misinformation by the service centre team members as to how to proceed - I know this because the next time I call the team member who answers tells me so - been told to take videos of the issues (I have several of the soundbar with no sound, error messages "check wireless speakers" and glitches in the sound) which nobody now wants to know about and generally given the absolute worst customer service I have ever received - from Samsung. Harvey Norman has been as helpful has Samsung has let them. Never again will I purchase a Samsung piece of equipment. Of the 7 months I have had it, it has been in my house for around 5 months, in the service centre for around 2 months and working properly for 1 month...and still no replacement is offered. I have bought samsung washing machine in 2015. I have Paid For extra Care. The door rubber seal was broken. When I called them they said I have to Email Proof of purchase. (Fair enough). Excellent Warranty Repair Service in Brisbane
I took my Samsung Tab A T580 into Carindale for a fault to be repaired under warranty and was told it would take 24 to 48 hours before it was returned. I said I would collect it from the store when it was repaired, rather than wait for it to be posted to my home.
An SMS was sent to me next morning to say it was ready to collect, this was less than 24 hours. The unit is now working and I am really happy with the quick service. Well done Samsung.

Are people having issues with the One Connect cable that connects the Samsung TV and the One Connect box ?? Being proprietary it means that if there is a problem with the cable then the TV cannot work. Samsung have been unresponsive to numerous requests for information regards a replacement cable arriving - now waited 10 business days (and no contact from Samsung)

Why does Samsung Australia dishonour Australian warranties in contrast to much smaller competitors who have excellent warranty, return, refund practices, Samsung seems to be a nightmare to claim any warranty issues with? (going by reviews here/elsewhere, personal experience).
