We bought samsung SRF680CDLS double French door 680l 1 year ago and the freezer just went on us. We called harvey norman -which have been amazing to deal with and have gone above and beyond to help us- and they replaced it straight away with same model. That night the freezer stopped working and we called them the next morning and got another one delivered a few days later and that night the same thing happened again. So, in just under 2 weeks we had 2 faulty replacement samsung fridges.

ian out to assess the problem and they found that the freezer was faulty as it had a refrigerator gas leak and this is why we could only use the freezer as a fridge and couldnt freeze anything at all. As a result we lost all of our food in the freezer- meat,sausages,chicken,fish, icecream, icy poles, frozen fruit /vegies, baby food, expressed breast milk (I have twin 4mo) and a 4yo and I had lost all of it!!!! **Samsung said they could only offer us $200 lost of food refund as we didnt have receipts.. umm, who keeps food receipts??** So I called samsung to find out the quickest solution, they were happy to refund my purchase price but would take 21 days and they were going to come and take my fridge away while they process my refund and this meant I would be left with no fridge for 3 WEEKS!!!! I explained to them we are a young family of 5 and I have x2 4mo twins and a four year old and its the middle of summer and I would need some sort of temp fridge in the mean time as my twins are on medication that requires refrigeration. The Samsung head office operator in sydney i was speaking to explained it was out of his hands and had an "it is what it is " kind of approach to the situation. So today instead of waiting 3 weeks without a fridge we were forced to go out and purchase another fridge -which was an extra $700 on top of what we originally paid- and fight with samsung for our refund! All in all, I will never buy a Samsung product again because it's a crap product and the customer service doesnt exist at all!!!!!! I'm taking this to consumer affairs and also an ombudsman. Because we were treated like rubbish for 2 weeks and they refused to help us. Save yourself the head ache and do not buy a SAMSUNG FRIDGE!!!! I'm very very disappointed!!!

Overpriced and garbage quality
Bought a Samsung S3 tablet last April. $850, has been slow since day 1. Developed a crack across the screen. Stopped working altogether in February. 9 months. Sent to Sydney to Samsung, phone calls, lame excuses, no remedy. Tried to con $600 out of me to repair case before will look at why this thing won't start. I asked for a replacement, refused. Sending it back to me. Samsung have slipped in quality, and consumer warranty is worthless. Scabs, never again Samsung. Will be pursuing consumer law remedy.

Samsung 16kg front loader - wonderful!
I’m really happy with our 16kg front loader Samsung washing machine. I can wash our entire household of 5 people’s sheets in one load. My only criticism is the annoying tune that plays when a cycle ends. This can be turned off though.

Worst Customer service experience ever and worst product I ever bought.!
I purchased the UA55ES8000M Television, in June 2012, with extended warranty came to around $5000. I purchased it through JB-HI Whitfords W.A. The problem started in Nov 2018. Went to JB-HI, gave me the run around like usual, had to contact Samsung direct. I mentioned that the unit freezes and there is a line of dead pixels down the left side of the tv screen (panel). shorter period, just wasted my time. I lost count how many times I contacted Samsung about this matter in that period. When I finally received a answer, saying they would not be proceeding any further with the matter. I forwarded a second complaint about the matter and no response. This all started in Nov 2018 its now Feb 2022, 4 months. I don't think warranty should be an issue in this instance, due to the fact, Samsung know that there panels are defective and they should be appoint more responsibility for their product. Far as I am concerned they have no product control with their products. A close friend of mine purchased a top of the line 4K samsung television, cost him $4900 from JB-HI The unit is 2 years old and he is currently on the 3 panel (screen), so what does that tell you, in regards to Samsung product control. I will never purchase a samsung television again with the customer service I received was the worst I ever experienced with a manufacturer . That will be the first and last time. A while ago my Samsung Galaxy S8+ started glitching (I will post a separate review of Samsung Galaxy S+, this one is only about warranty service provided by Samsung) .
Eventually, when my USB port died, and I could not even charge it, I went to the store in Chermside to repair it under the warranty.

After 8 months of using my brand new Note 8 developed screen burn in. 3rd Samsung device, 3rd failure! NO MORE!!
First device was a Samsung S4 mobile which was deemed irreparable as they couldn't figure out why the microphone randomly doesn't work (after 2 repairs).
Second device was a premium Samsung LED TV whose panel failed catastrophically after 3.5 years. This is after spending $3800! Only to be told by head office that I needed to spend MORE MONEY on a replacement. Mind you this is in contravention of Australian Consumer Law. After misleading me to fork out another $330, now the piece of garbage replacement TV is also unwatchable!!!

The fridge cost $3900 it has never worked properly since the purchase,having 3 times service people comming out,1 time paid mysrlf,because
samsung to slow,
Anyway while away fridge blown the fuse,leave our floor a mess, and obviously the food,
Repairman came out, and I was told Samsung should replace or money back
,anyway some 15 calls,i and 4 weeks later they would refund money, but they said they pick up fridge, and send refund, up to 3 weeks later
That is why i wont release the fridge untill they refund money on pick up

Post Sales Customer Service (non-existant)
According to Australian consumer law a company must under the assumption that everything is above board and its their product (in layman's terms) assist a customer. Samsung get a big zero acting more like a unprofessional company when I approached them to assist with their product which was out of warranty. Samsung you are a joke and your post sales service is disgusting to be polite. Would give 1/2 a star if possible,1 is way flattering!

Samsung fails to honour warranty, excuse after excuse
S7 mobile phone died suddenly while using, never managed to turn on again or charge.
Samsung is refusing to honor its warranty despite the device meeting all criteria for it.
First, Samsung makes the claim that it is not under warranty, I disputed this correctly, and Samsung retracts their statement. Samsung then claims that because it was repaired by Samsung overseas, the warranty is void, I then successfully challenged that and Samsung retracts their statement.

Handed my tablet in at Joondalup WA store on Sun. 20th. Jan. Bright, friendly service. Thanks Mark.On inspection, it was required be sent in for repairs.
Received, that is, delivered to my nominated address on Tues. 22nd. Jan. by Toll.

Major pain in the head!
Have had a Samsung S7 since July 2016. Needs a new battery. Ridiculously annoying job to try yourself, so I decided to take to Samsung store for service.
I'm in Adelaide, where there are 2 stores - 1 at Tea Tree Plaza, and the other at Westfield Marion (about 30 kms apart)
Wanted to ring store to check battery availability and service turnaround time.
Can't ring store! Numbers are for Samsung's centralized service call centre, who were unable to give me the info I needed.

Extremely unhappy about the warranty and service for note phones!!!
I would like to express my biggest disappointment about the warranty and services offered by Samsung to returning customers which are buying always their latest phones and only NOTE phones for 6 years.
My last repair Reference Number is 4275840533. The model number and other details I am not sure as the phone is with Samsung since the failed repaired occurred.
I had some issues for more 1 month with my Note 8 which is under warranty.

After four phone calls and three emails I have not had the courtesy of a return call. They keep you on hold punching all the numbers only to tell you they are busy and call back. Do not buy samsung crap!

Never again
After getting a house built only 3 1/2 years ago and unfortunately getting a Samsung air conditioner installed it failed and it has just cost me over $800 to fix a problem that was a common fault in these units... Never again will I touch any Samsung product.

Are people having issues with the One Connect cable that connects the Samsung TV and the One Connect box ?? Being proprietary it means that if there is a problem with the cable then the TV cannot work. Samsung have been unresponsive to numerous requests for information regards a replacement cable arriving - now waited 10 business days (and no contact from Samsung)

Why does Samsung Australia dishonour Australian warranties in contrast to much smaller competitors who have excellent warranty, return, refund practices, Samsung seems to be a nightmare to claim any warranty issues with? (going by reviews here/elsewhere, personal experience).
