I bought a fridge on Sunday 13th Oct. delivered and installed. After 2 days we noticed it wasn't very cold. ice creams also soft. We changed the fridge to 2deg and freezer to -20deg.
no difference. We spoke to the retailer, they said to turn it off and back on in 30mins. We tried this with no success. I opted to contact Samsung, they were initally good. turned up, Samsung car, Samsung shirt and polite, inspected the fridge. Within 30 minutes he say's the evaporator needs to be replaced and told us its only a week old, "Im going to replace the fridge" I received a text message within an hour of the tech visit, stating the issue has been escalated and a case manager will discuss the matter with me. no contact was made, I called the number and reference the following afternoon, all to be told they'll be in contact on Monday or Tuesday. 5 days after tech visit, no refrigerator for a household of 5. I ring Monday to be served by someone that had 2 woreful options, 'repair the fridge and have a voucher' or 'replace the fridge between 7 - 21 days' I can assure you I paid for the fridge and it was delivered and installed in 12 hours. I am in dismay now, and have no further directions from support, we want it resolved.

I have bought the 719l 3 days ago, the flex zone is set to freezer mode. Till now being 3 days on, It is not freezing and the water bottle inside is not frozen and it has veenn3 days. Again the ice-cream tub inhave it not frozen. If this issue is common and can not be fixed, I will be defiantly returning the fridge and sharing my disappointed experience on product reviews and other means to warn people not to waste there money on waste of space .



I expect a response with a solution as soon as possible...

We bought a Samsung DLS 719 and have some mould in the fridge crispers but can’t seem to work out how to pull them apart as you can’t get to the mould as food gets stuck under it. Is there a way to pull them apart? Or can you order new ones.....

I would unplug the refrigerator and spray bleach on the mold. Let it sit and then get a water spray and spray it with h20. The mold should just come off.

Hi Jessica, thank you for reaching out to us. If you refer to Page 38 of your user manual you will be able to run through step b step in removing the refrigerator accessories.
Please note, as per the user manual of cleaning the fridge;



• Do not use benzene, thinner, Clorox, or car detergent to clean the refrigerator. They can damage the surface of the appliance and may cause a fire.
• Do not spray the refrigerator with water while it is plugged in, This can cause an electric shock.

Hi there, as long as all the contents in the fridge are taken out and is turned off empty, there wouldn't be a problem. However I'd suggest turning it back on after Winter and let it run.

Our light in the ice and water fountain compartment on the outside of door is staying on... how do we turn it off? it should only come on when in use.

Our fridge came with a water connection that wasn't the same size as the one the plumber has used (which I'm told is standard size). We tried an adapter piece, but that leaks as the seal is not good enough. Where do I get a new connector piece that will fill with the house plumbing? We've had it 2mths now, and haven't been able to connect to water supply.

I'd really love to give some helpful advice, but I got nothing. I can only suggest ringing a fridge repair guy to help.

Does anyone have one of these that actually achieves minus 19 to minus 20? I just bought and am only getting minus 10. Sort watery ice cream. Useless bottom right compartment.

Yes ours is constantly -19 for the freezer, no issues at all with temperature.

Given the fridge display doesn't tell you the temp in the bottom right compartment have you ever checked it with a probe? Do you keep ice cream in bottom right? Bottom left works almost ok, weak but eventually catches up but bottom right for me is no good at all. I've read another person on here had the same issue. I wonder how many people actually check the temp to know. I am giving up and returning mine.

We didnt realise until we got the fridge home that it needed to be plumbed into a water supply in order to get water and ice (thought you just filled up the containers and wasnt explained/mentioned by the staff helping us when we were looking at different styles). Anyways fridge is in our dining area no water supply available close by is there a way around this so we can use our water/ice features?

You will need to get a plumber to connect the fridge. It should be cheap if water supply is close by.

Dear Kathy I have just ordinary ice blocks I didn't have to do anything other then put the plug in i just have to fill up my ice bucket thing you twist it to get the ice blocks out it's good though I love ❤️ it but yeah I think someone is having you on butnits not right Kathy if you have to do that you certainly shouldn't be no way best of livkm

Sorry no idea, for temp we select and hold bottoms on top of freezer door until they are ready to change.

I just bought the fridge SRF719DLS (4 door). I liked its sleek design. But the third chamber with Cool Select set to freezer mode goes to only -8 degrees centigrade and not -19 degrees that is set for the freezer. As a result my icecreams were melting. I called Samsung and they sent a technician who checked and said that the PCB (computer program) was faulty. The fridge was replaced by a new one - it showed exactly the same problem. Being frustrated, I requested the retailer to test one in the shop and send that to me. The retailer told me he received similar complaints from four different people and advised me to exchange for a different fridge. I liked the design and was wondering if there is anything that can be done to fix the problem?

Same problem with mine. It doesn't have the strength to freeze properly. I'm swapping for an LG. It's been a nightmare.
