my samsung bottom mount srl 458els the freezer is perfect but top of fridge not cold at freezer has always been -21 top 9 celsius

The fridge section of mine works well but the fruit/vegetable crisper does not keep things fresh. They become wrinkly and soft within days. Sorry but I would not recommend this fridge.

How to adjust level as my 458L fridge tilts to the left and I can only adjust the right side wheel but not the left wheel which won’t budge (unless it’s actually not an adjusting wheel).

Sorry I can't help there. The delivery man set mine up.
AdaSamsung
Hi Allen, both the front right and left legs are able to be adjusted. We have provided a link below to help guide you.

Hi Jo,
Thanks for your reply. I have the manual already. Your friendly delivery guy, Gary, came back and fixed what I thought was a stuck wheel adjuster and freed it. The fridge is now levelled. If there were more delivery guys like Gary, this world would be a better place.
Cheers,

I am having the same problem
Marek Jasieniakasked
Can the doors opening angle be limited to 90 degrees?
4 answers
AdaSamsung
Hey Marek, are you enquiring of whether you are able to limit the fridge door's opening to a maximum of 90 degrees? Any further information will help clarify our understanding.
Jo
Samsung AU
Hi Jo,
Yes, that's correct. The fridge is in an enclosure and a wall on the opening side is long and interferes with the fridge/freezer door. Therefore I need to limit the fridge opening to a maximum of 90 degrees.
Looking forward to hearing from you
Cheers,
Marek
PS
I have a photo that describes clearly the problem but I could not paste it here
AdaSamsung
Thanks for letting us know, Marek. We recommend for you to use for example, padding if you would like to avoid the doors from hitting the wall in the enclosure as the refrigerator's doors are unable to be adjusted to a limit of 90 degrees.

Does it meant to get condensation in fridge part meaning slighty damp with wster
3 answers
Hi Tracie, mine doesn’t. Although on very hot days, the clear plastic vegetable drawer may get a little cloudy if I have the fridge door open for a little too long. But I never get condensation to the extent that it feels wet in the fridge or vegetable drawer. If yours is doing that I’d suggest you call Samsung service. Hope this helps.
No water settles in the bottom of the freezer department

HI
I just purchased a Samsung SRL458ELS and it is refrigerating. After 4 hours the freezer is at -19 but the fridge has not moved from 9 degrees. It was showing 9 degrees when I turned the fridge on. So should I be worried or give it more time. Any feedback would be appreciated?

Hi Sergio have you tried the buttons on top right? Setting the fridge to -1 or-3 ?
Or is the holiday button pushed in ?
Edwin
Mine did the same thing, it was on the power freeze option, presumably it puts a lot of effort into freezing and keeps the fans to the fridge at a minimum in the interim. Adjust the freezer temp and presto it dropped 3 degrees in the blink of an eyelid.
Thanks QCI. Thats precisely what happened. It is working like a dream now.

Hi, Could any owner kindly let me know the actual height of this fridge please?
My kitchen cabinet has a height limit of 172cm, I understand the spec says the fridge is 170cm tall, but still a little bit worried the actual fridge is taller.
Thank you

hi, i have bought the fridge yesterday. and the temperature is not setting. as sown on manual i set the temperature 1 foe fridge and -20 for freezer but the next time i open the door it shows the different temp. dont know whats happening. Please advise?
1 answer
when I purchased this fridge it had a pre set temperature of minus - 19 degrees for the freezer and 4 degrees for the fridge This freezes everything and keeps all food in the fridge fresh for a very long time.
There should be no need to alter temperatures unless you are using quick freeze option.....or setting the fridge for when you are on vacation.? The Temperature is pre set for optimal performance of the fridges or freezer it will continue to return to its original settings Leave it be everything will keep cold and work well.Samsung make fridges and know which temperature works best.

Does the smart sensor light up when the fridge is turned on? The manual says it does light up but I don't see it on my fridge.

I have a Samsung SRL458ELS which we are very happy with except for one query. The motor seems to go non stop and I am not sure if it should. It is in a good dry location with ventilation etc. Don't think it was going non stop when we first switched it on??? Is there a problem with it?
2 answers
Hi - it should have some periods where the motor is not running and it is completely silent. The compressor in mine runs maybe 60% of the time. It will depend on how often it is opened though, and the temperature of the room, food going in and out etc.
Hi Jenny,
My fridge motor does not run for that long. I hardly even notice when it is running, so I can't tell you how long it runs for as I don't notice it.
