Almost a year on, still thrilled with this machine's performance, quality and aesthetic appeal!
Clothing washes exceptionally well. The lint catcher, which appears small and inefficient, is actually very impressive and easy to remove to empty. The machine's jingle is not annoying but does pleasantly alert me laundry is done and audible from most areas of the home. The cycle durations are reasonable considering it's a top loader. We've noticed no increase in water consumption/bills since changing from front loader, which was a concern. As for energy, we wash exclusively in cold water anyhow and find this machine cleans extremely well, clot...Read more
hing has never been damaged and stains remove with ease using even the most basic/affordable laundry powder without stain removing treatments. The novelty of the glass lid still finds the children "watching the washing" even after much time. Overall entirely satisfied. Long may it last!Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Fabulous washer
We got this after careful consideration including reading other reviews here. It has very much lived up to expectations and we are well pleased with it. Clothes come out very thoroughly washed and surprisingly well spun out, considering it is a top loader. It has a few cure quirks such as the pleasant electronic tones it communicates with and I like the glass top. We have had no issues at all and are still very happy with it

Reliable Washing maschine from samsung.
I’ve had my samsung top loader washing maschine for more than 5 years now, and I must say I’m very happy with it and would not hesitate to recomend it to my friends or family. It’s easy to use and with clear instructions and can also safe water usage and I bought it on special.

Faulty Washer
Whilst this washer worked well, when it worked - it cleaned and rinsed clothes well, didn't wear-out clothes, was relatively quiet, I liked the glass top viewing lid & the lack of large agitator. But it seemed to have an intermittent electrical fault it would stop randomly before finishing a cycle & sometimes trip the power. After approx 15 months it stopped completely & tripped power any time I tried to turn on.

Great Machine that talks....well almost!
Bought this machine recently from The Good Guys and finding it cleans the clothes very well. Because it doesn't have a fin type agitator it doesn't seem to damage the clothes like our old machine did. I find we don't seem to have to use the net bags for delicates like we did before. It rinses well and has a water saving option (but this cycle takes twic as long)!. We dont hear it in the laundry like our old machine except when it plays the little end of cycle jingle. Had a red symbol today on the screen to clean the tub...it has its own cycle for that and by the look of the material in the tub at the end seems to work.

Perfect machine
This washing machine is excellent. Very easy to use and great to clean. We bought this machine when our last one was recalled. Honestly can’t fault it. So many different functions for all different types of washes. If you are looking for a good long lasting machine, this is it!

Mold, mildew, dirt attached on my washing
I was very happy with the machine during the first few months until dirt flakes started to appear in Dec2016 and started sticking to my clothes after every wash. I have used several different washing machines throughout my life and this is the first time something like this has happened. I have tried many different methods to resolve this including bleach, soda and vinegar without any improvement. This issue is really annoying me.

Very happy
Needed to replace a Whirlpool that we had for about 14 years (made in the USA). With some reserve we decided after reading many reviews to go with the Samsung. We also needed a model that accepts hot water (we have solar), and it did not make sense to get a machine that heats its own water. Have had it now for 8 months and are very happy. Only reason not to give 5 stars is that most programs take a very long time. Accordingly we only use the "Quick Wash" setting and find it gives good results for us, as we do not have kids or work clothes. Purchased from Appliances Online.

Does the job
Decent price for a 7kg load. The waste pipe exits from the right of the washing machine, which might be a issue for some people. Had the machine for 11 months still cleans clothes and no issues so far. It's pretty loud. It's a good size for 4 people, to wash once a week.

Best machine I've ever had
This is a beautiful washing machine. I used front loaders for a long time; however found over the last 11 years that they have made it impossible to vary the water level. Decided to go back to top loaders. Did research; came across this one and purchased it. The clothes are washed beautifully - they come out untangled and soft. Once you are used to the programs, it's a delight and so, so easy to decide which one to use for the particular load of clothes you are washing. The sound of the machine is comforting and at the end of the cycle, it sing...Read more
s to me to advise that this load is now complete. Love the fact that there is no agitator and machine has digital inverter (this and no agitator was why I decided to purchase it and all of the other things I've mentioned here have been a bonus). To keep the washing machine clean I am advised by cleaning guru - Shannon Lush - to put a small amount of vinegar in with each wash. Have done this for a long time now and it works a treat.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Excellent Machine
This us a really good washing machine! It is a top loader and is very easy to use. The console is intuitive and simple. The machine runs quietly - even during it's spin cycle. I would highly recommend this washing machine to those that want an affordable, medium to large capacity, user-friendly option.

Best washing machine I have had.
This machine is so cool! It has so many features for washing including dark, bedding, rinse, spin, cotton etc. it has option to choose extra high water level for really big loads. Sometimes my pants get really twisted and it's hard to untangle but not a big deal. I love how it has no centre and easy to remove fluff. Washes perfectly.

Not too bad if you don't want spend lot money
This washing machine is not too bad. We had an old samsung washing machine before, used it more than 5 years, all been good. But one day my friend told me Samsung recall some product, which is include my old machine. I did call, they pick up old one really quick, and given this one to me. Prefect customer service, we can trust.

Washine machine that makes me worry.
Previously we had Samsung 5.5kg and that was recalled for fire hazard and replaced with brand new model 7kg. After 3 months of use from Dec 2016, the top plastic cover of metal drum cylinder inside the machine started to melt badly. Samsung tech came, adjusted the balance and replaced the plastic cover. Now January 14th 2018, it started to melt again.
I'm so confused as i cannot see anything that make the plastic melt.

Stay away from Samsung washers
These machines are a nightmare stay away from them don't believe me do your homework before buying a Samsung washer you will regret it. They have a lot of defects to many to list. Run away from these machines all ready had to purchase a new washer after only two years. Its a Maytag and so far so good been thinking about how to destroy this Samsung machine but then I realized that would mean more work so I'm loading it on the truck with a sign and taking it to the dump. Good riddens

Tangled messes.
Long sleeves of shirts and tops as well as long pants get horribly tangled by this machine. I have had it for around 5-6 months now & I am glad summer is here so I can *hopefully* have a break from this constant problem for a while. I will buy a machine with agitator next time.

Does the job well
I look for a reliable washing machine that does the job, isn't too complicated, gives me choice of function and my clothes are clean at the end. This does the job perfectly for a good price and a good size. I can fit large quilts and other bulky items in easily with plenty of room to spare. With all the options and features around the process of finding the right machine was confusing. feel I picked the right machine

Easy to use
It is fairly new and cleans quiet good even very soiled clothes though have to put it in a second spin to get it cleaned good. It is gentle on clothes and can turn off sound if it's too sound but it beeps to let you you know that it has stopped washing the clothes. I love that with just a press of a button it is set to work don't have to turn knobs to get it started.

Slightly disappointed
I was tossing up whether to get this one or the Fisher & Paykel but got this. It has fit heaps of washing and bedding but the things I don't like about it is that it gets unbalanced easy and I have to go take everything out to balance it (I thought this didn't happen in new models), it's louder than I expected, and there is no such thing as a quick wash. The "quick wash" still takes 45 mins. If I could go back I wouldn't have got it.

Can the water discharge hose be positioned at the rear as the washing machine wont fit into the area due to the hose protruding from the side?

PhilSamsung
Hi Robert, thank you for taking the time to ask us a question! Unfortunately the drain hose can only be secured on the side as the outlet is only available on the side for this model.
