Great healthy breakfast that isn't full of suger. Simple and quick to prepare if your in a hurry. Great tasting and a quailty product. My kids love this and i use it not only has a breakfast cereal but as a snack as well. My toddler loves to snack on the bicuits which creates a mess but at least it's healthy. We will always buy this breakfast cereal and usually go through 2 large boxes a week but i pefer it due to the low sugar against other flashy cereals.

This is a great cereal to have whenever you want something a bit healthy to eat. It is a great way to start the day and also makes a great filling snack in the afternoon too. Overall, a classic product, you can eat it straight out of the box as a snack or with milk at anytime of the day.
This is such an Aussie icon, and its a great breakfast food. I love the commercial and always see how many I can do too!
It is a little expensive, but comes on special often in the supermarket. It isnt sweet, so if I want it a bit sweeter, I just have a sliced banana on top.

This is a real true blue Aussie breakfast. I grew up with weatbix and I still have to have it with pot heated milk just like I did as a child. It never seems the same otherwise. I give this cereal to my toddler and he too loves to eat it. I think while it may not be a low GI food, it is definitely ranked as a medium GI food so it is not too back health wise. A really great way to start the day.

I love to eat this every morning. I love the high fibre content - good for bowel movement ;). It is great to have with hot water, milk, fruit and yogurt. I also love it when it comes with bonus cricket cards and the such, great for the kids.
I only buy it when it is on special - it could be a little cheaper. But when on special, I buy as many as I can. And it is bland - but this in itself is great because you can add whatever flavour you want.

it is good for me, hubby and bubz we all eat it in a different way/style and all enjoy it though. Is a great start to the day and keeps me going alot longer than just toast i find i need coffee when i have just toast ...soo not as healthy of that is the case.

This is a very quick breakfast to organise for the kids, right from under one year old. You can easily pack on in a little container to take out to the shops for a quick snack for a baby too, it keeps them occupied for ages and is super cheap. I like the fact that there is very low sugar in this cereal. You can buy any sized pack you like, so great for camping, etc.
I don't think there are any cons with Weetbix Original.

Weetbix is a healthy and easy breakfast option, I always have it avaliable at home as I enjoy eating it most mornings as its low fat and good for you. Great for the whole family and also good for kids. Can add fruit for extra flavour and also can be served hot or cold depending on your preference!

no dislikes about weekbix, i have been eating weetbix all my life and it has always been a good products and have had no issues with it.

I have these for breakfast 6 out of 7 days a week. Warm milk in winter and cold in summer. My son is also keen on Weetbix and will eat them with milk or without. As a child I used to eat them without milk with peanut butter on them as an after school snack. They are a staple in our house. We always have a large box in the cupboard. Also good for cooking Weetbix Cake (one of my favourites).

My husband thinks they are a bit plain and need sugar but I think they are better without as it is healthier and I find they taste fine.

This is the sort of breakfast I can wake up to - 5 Weet-Bix pieces in a bowl of fresh milk is sufficient (or Farmer's Union Iced Coffee if you're into weird tastes) and it starts my day beautifully. It healthy! I have been a wheet bix eater for 10 years and still love them. The packaging comes in everysize you can think of. I havent tried the multigrain but i think i will as i cam imagine these would be even better for you. Sometimes these are good for a quick lunch and even a small dinner. Can be a little expensive but i usually stock up when they are on special.

Doesnt last long and your hunger comes again and you have to eat. This meal is good to get you into the habbit of eating smaller and more often.

A family favourite that everyone loves. Great taste, healthy and without all the sugar of other cereals. Weet-bix can be eaten hot or cold, with honey, fruit. They can be eaten as a snack with spreads, all in all a versatile cereal, even the crumbs taste good. They even make a good meal for little puppies just after weaning.

It would be good if the old tin packs were brought back in every now and then as a special. That way the cardboard packed ones could be transferred.

Healthy, tasty, long lasting, low in sugars and salts, what else can you ask for in a breakfast cereal. My bub LOVES her morning weetbix and I know that she's receiving a nutritional start to the day. It's a very cheap breakfast cereal and can be enjoyed warm or cold. Topped with a little sugar makes it a special treat!
As other people have said, the boxes come in only small or large sizes. I haven't seen the tins in ages either, and i'd love to get one as we always have a box in the pantry.

Weet-Bix tastes quite good. Four or three bars can be enough energy for my morning. Improving in packaging and put it in differnt sizes would be great.
I lie the shape of Weet-Bix and crunchy bars. It is easy to know how much do you need for you breakfast and not too quick melting in milk.
Again, Weet-Bix bar is a bit long and thick to me. I like to have it shorter, for example a one-bite-bar. Packaging is not very good as I usually can't eat a whole pack in a morning and need to find a way to store the rest.

these are a great all round healthy breakfast cereal. It is made by a reputable company and it has been around for a long time. These weetbix so alot soggier quicker than the wholebran ones but they are very good for you with alot of fibre
stays fresh for ages, sanitarium is a great australian and new zealand company which makes wholesome healthy cereals. Doesnt contain too much sugar or salt and has alot of dietary fibre. It also goes well with fruit such as strawberries or banana.

I love the versatility of weetbix - they can be served hot in winter and with ice cold milk in summer. A friend of mine likes it with orange juice instead of milk! you can add fresh or tinned fruit with it.its easily available and often on special. has a couple of different sizes. yum!
A good way to get the kids to eat a healthy breakfast. most kids love weet-bix. lower in fat and sugar than most cereals and a brand name we were all brought up with and trust. low GI, so keeps you fuller longer. kids like them with butter and vegimete for in thier lunchbox's too.price is good compared to other cereals

overall they are a great breakfast cereal, they are yum with bananas, strawberries or anything else you want to add to it maybe just honey. they are a great source of fibre and because they are so healthy they are perfect for babies too
everyone in my family loves sanitarium weet bix, they are fabulous with cold milk or hot milk, great in summer or winter or anytime of the year, i find the price great especially when on special,
i dont like the way they are packaged, would prefer if they were maybe packed differently like maybe every 5 weet bix sealed individually that way they would stay fresher longer

Imust admit that it is a very healthy breakfast product. If someone does not care about money and prioritize his or her health Sanitarium Weet-Bix Original can be the best product. All of the family members of my household love it. We tried many brands before but we found that Sanitarium Weet-Bix Original is the best. As the price is a bit higher and I have a large family, I wait for the specials to buy this product.

I just love the smell of hot milk on weetbix, takes me back to childhood. They are great for breakfast with milk or as a snack with honey or vegemite. My partner has weetbix with another cereal on top with banana, yoghurt and milk.
I really like the fact that you know exactly how much you are serving, don't have to weigh or measure, just put them straight into the bowl
I think the box could be a bit more sturdy especially the fastening bit at the top. By the time the box (usually the 1.5kg box )is finished it really is just holding together. I probably could transfer the lot to a tin or plastic container.

our family just love weet bix they have tryed cheaper brands but do not like them, i just buy the good brand weet bix and know they will be eaten and not wasted .i like weet bix with milk and honey it is a good way of geting your iron supplement in take for the day .
weet bix is great for breakfast or any time realy. have been useing it for many years for my family and my mother gave it to me when i was a kid .

Weet-bix is one of the few cereals I allow into my household. They taste great, especially with warm milk and chopped banana on top. A healthy breakfast option that takes minimial time to prepare and eat, with plenty of iron and fibre, and low in sugar. An old family favourite, I make sure I stock up on this cereal when it's on special in the supermarket!

None, though can be a little expensive when not on special, so I always make a point of buying several boxes when the price is reduced.

Weet-Bix have been around since I can remember. I have had them my whole life for breakfast and I never get sick of the taste. I just love them with warm milk in winter sprinkled with some sugar for breakfast. I have even had them for lunch and a quick dinner. The great thing is you don't have to feel guilty eating them as they are good for you.

Weet - bix is rather in expensive it’s good for your heart and is great for your bowels. Contains vitamins and iron too which is an added bonus. My kids love weetabix with a little bit of sugar or with some cheerios on top. It’s a very filling breakfast and a great way to start the day I would recommend this to anyone struggling to get their kids to eat breakfast as it tastes great. Great packaging and they often have cool promotions on which really appeal to the kids such as the soccer roo promotion.

Sanitarium weet-bix are great to eat either for breakfast with warm milk or (although some might not agree) as a snack eaten dry like a cracker with spreads. I do find however, that as a cereal with milk, weet-bix are quite tasteless so need to add a bit of sugar or fruit for interest. The thing I love about them though is compared to some other cereals they are made with a high percentage (97%) of whole grains and also contain roughly 25% of your daily intake of iron per serve. Santitarium weet-bix are a brand that I trust for my whole family and feel safe with the knowledge that they are eating a healthy and satisfying cereal.

Weet-bix is healthy and cheap but needs extras on top to make it tasty enough to want to eat it. This is not a bad cereal to eat a couple of times a week but definitely not my favourite and not something I could eat every day.

The obvious pro of Weet-Bix, for the average household budget, is its value-for-money recommended retail price!
