If it worked properly it would be a bargain but its really only a cheap mower that has a very short life span. People if you have the money buy a better brand and happy mowing.
It's cheap - but is it really when it has so many problems.
The mower does not turn of when moving the throttle to off - there is a petrol leak from the carburetta- the think won't start - the catcher comes appart way before it's full. If there is a hint of moisture in the grass the grass catches at the neck of the catcher.

Great value for money and much better than the Briggs and Stratton I had previously which had a poor rev range, kinked cable, poor quality finish, rust and unable to isolate fuel. I was told the Sanli had same motor as the PRCC sourced motor for Honda.
Easy to start. Good rev range, easy height adjustment. Reliable and good follow up service from agent. Can tackle heavy grass without much problem.
Small catcher - fills too quickly and easily. Able to gunk up spark plug if run too rich!

Would recommend for a cheap 4-stroke. We only paid about $200 from K-Mart (less than half the $$ of what we were about to buy at Bunnings. You do get what you paid for, but we're reasonably pleased so far.
Easy to start, 1st time every time so far (18 months old). Lower operating noise than any 2-stroke I hear around the neighbourhood.
Catcher (neck) blocks up if the grass is even SLIGHTLY moist - very annoying. Fuel hose has deteriorated already on a fairly new mower (may be hard to replace as the mower centres hate these cheap brands and parts are hard to come by).

The mower is easy to start, gives a good cut. The wheels have ball bearings. Solid steel chassis. Catcher is easy to remove and fit. I would recommend this mower.
Fantastic mower for the price I paid. Cuts well and is easy to start. Came with oil. Would recommend the mower

Very powerfull & silent machine, exellent cutting, good for small to medium size lawn, value for money I paid $ 169 in K Mart, easy to install and run, have 2 years warranty. very efficient in fuel and considering 4 stroke no hassel for mixing oil n petrol.
Cant lock catch immediately, need to fiddle

Questions & Answers

I was given a Sanli Lazer Cut 400 which hadn't been used for 2 to 3 years. I drained the fuel and oil but in the process, I accidentally got oil in the carburetor.
I've removed the bowl and cleaned the carburetor and spark plug with carburetor cleaner and reassembled it. It still won't start. If I spray the carburetor cleaner into the carburetor it will run for 2 to 4 seconds and then stalls. I've also checked the 92 unleaded fuel does get into the carburetor bowl. Any advice?
