Why does a sendle delivery person take a photo of the person being delivered to ?

Hi Lisa k. I'm sorry I can't say because my first parcel was taking inside by someone else I stay in a boarding house so I don't mind them taking my parcel inside for me second time I was home and I saw the courier at the door and received my parcel but never took my photo at all so I'm sorry I can't help you
I have had 2 deliveries now, both have been left at my front door. Sorry I can't answer your question either.

If you're not at home, or the courier cannot get access to drop off the parcel due to security gate, what do they do with the parcel. Aus Post drop it off at the local postshop. Do Sendle do that as well?

Sorry Paul but i have no idea what the situation is regarding your issue, might be best to contact Sendle direct.
Im fortunate to have my parcels sent to my work. Sorry Paul i can't answer or help .

Depends on the size of parcel. Most cases mostly drop off at parcel pickup point usually at petrol station7-11 and BP, newsagents, and parcel lockers.
How however you can request Authority to Leave if need to get it redelivered
As Sendle most of the time use couriers Please.

Parcel tracking No:SCSCP4. My parcel has been marked as,
"Out for Delivery
Parcel onboard courier vehicle for delivery"
for 5 days. Still no parcel has been delivered and it only went 2 suburbs in Melboune.
I've sent Sendle 2 messages, NO responce from them. Still no parcel.
No customer help phone number to call.
When will my parcel arrive??

I've had this problem and have contacted the help centre on the website which was helpful. I also suggest contacting the sender and asking them to contact sendle as well to locate your parcel.
Thanks for replying. I've sent 2 mssages to Sendle. No responce a couple of days later. Just today I messaged the Sender to follow it up from their end. Hopefully something will work.

Parcel SDQRYP not collected after 2 days and now it's a long weekend. I run a small business and this is not good enough. The website is generic and goes through circles and the tracking is saying awaiting drop off at location or something like that. Please fix this as I have a customer who could have received it through Aus Post by now.

I want someone to contact me to discuss the "delivery" of an item which was supposed to have been delivered to my address around 1.30am (i was actually up when the tracking said it was delivered and no vehicles came anywhere near our place) according to tracking. We have been home, have had gates open etc waiting for this delivery yet it was never delivered. Not very happy at the moment. I can't even find a phone number to discuss this issue.

Not a question so much as a thank you...to everyone who mentioned that Sendle uses Fastway Couriers. Fastway are pretty horrible except for the odd driver who seems to enjoy his job. Thanks for letting us know that we would be dealing with Fastway if we used Sendle. I’ll spend an extra $10 and use Aust Post who I’ve had the least amount of problems with.

Hey Prasun, batteries are categorized as Dangerous Goods, and therefore we can't send batteries in their individual state. However, if the batteries are attached to a device (like a phone or a laptop), it should be ok. However, there are a few restrictions on what type of batteries you can send. In this case, lithium-ion batteries are unfortunately not something we can carry. In this case, for your 25kg parcel, you would need to book this under the "Check-in" category. If you haven't found it yet, I suggest that you read on our Size and Weight article here: https://support.sendle.com/hc/en-au/articles/205230938. We also recommend that our customers safely package all their parcels so that they are fit for transport. Please use any combination of packaging materials and methods that you deem appropriate to protect your parcels. Janine

If you punch in your parcel size and weight and suburbs for pickup and delivery, it will give you a real-time quote, which includes a precise estimated delivery time. I'd love to make this easier for you, can you please let me know the exact pickup and delivery suburbs (with postcodes) and the size (length, width, height) and weight of the parcel so I can check this? Conveniently they only have email but they don't respond anyway. Do not send your item with this company! I'm still waiting on my daughter's Christmas present! Posted from Perth to NSW on 5 December! Absolutely useless!

Why are there no updates for tracking?? Hopefully my parcel I ordered for Christmas on the 8/12 (was ready to be picked up on 9/12 but not picked up by sendle until 12/12) will arrive in time to be given on Christmas Day! I thought Aus Post was bad with scanning for tracking and how long delivery takes, next time I will check who the company uses for their deliveries before I order.....
