Appalling customer service
When I initially signed up our two dogs for insurance, the service over the phone was exceptional ... and that was the end of exceptional service. I submitted a claim for my dog a couple of months ago and received a letter requesting more history. I replied immediately by email, attaching the necessary documents. That was three weeks ago. Today, I receive another letter saying that if we don't supply the information within seven days, the claim will be finalised and not processed. ted 23 December 2020 (I had emailed them on 1 January 2020). Tonight, I sent them my original email along with a request that they respond immediately to acknowledge receipt as we are desperate for the reimbursement. Three weeks to wait for a reimbursement, without any acknowledgement is appalling. Although it's probably a good tactic if they want to encourage people not to submit claims. I'm hoping to receive a response ASAP but I won't hold my breath. They have a habit of responding with a generic email that clearly indicates they are not responding to specific concerns.

The ability to lodge claims easily and haven’t policies that make sense and are value for money. Prompt information was provided both on the phone and via email to me
Reasonable with good service
Our policy was fair value. It was easy to set up. Being our first claim we had to send in our dog's full veterinary history which took some organizing. Once we did this the claim was resolved within 2 weeks .
We took out the policy within the last 6 months and we are pleased with the service.

I thing that the amount I get back for my dog does not warrant the expense
I would be better putting aside $80 a month and saving it for any Vet expenses.

Quick and easy to open a new policy
I compared several polices and decided Australian Seniors best suited my needs; the price was slightly better than the three other providers I considered, and also the cover was better.
Quick and easy
My pet has been insured with this company for 3 years. Claim was resolved in a week. Although claim was resolved quickly there was no notification of the completion of the claim.
Essential, Value, Efficiency
I compared pet insurance for new puppy. Seniors Pet Insurance was my choice. I also transferred my older dog to Seniors Pet Insurance so they are both insured by same provider. I did not expect an accident so soon into the policy, yet claim has been expedient. We will stick with this policy for life, and thank you.

It was very good to speak to the gentleman online but I feel that the disclosure statement should have been re recorded. I realise it is necessary to listen to this but felt sorry for the guy having to read it all.

The assistance by phone was good, expect to be very truthful, the girl sounded like she was "singing" the
details for the policy, while older people like to be addressed in a slower and clear way and not sound like a recording. The most important thing is that the person shows some humanity and sound REAL.
May or may not renew my policy when the time comes
First claim - much paperwork needed but got there in the end. Second claim denied (as a sore ear months before deemed pre-existing), third claim denied as dental work not covered apparently. I should have read every word of the fine, fine print I imagine (my fault). I will consider whether ongoing policy is worth it when renewal comes through. Yes, I can appeal but let's face it, its a lot of my time and you never beat an insurer...

Thank you for your question. To be eligible to take out our insurance, you need to be the primary carer of the pet and the pet does need to reside with you. We don't offer third party liability insurance.
Does this Policy cover snake bite? What is the policy excess?thank you

We do not currently charge an excess for any of our pet insurance policies.
