Driver does stupid things
First delivery, the driver threw my 20kg boxes in a pile (I was watching him, he tossed the boxes instead of carrying them) up against the outward opening electric garage door. I couldn't open the door without moving all the boxes first. Today, he decided to drive his van into my front yard, on the grass! He said he wanted to be close to my front door! Was he planning to block that? Really, the driver does not need to park on my grass. I told him to move his van into my driveway. He did not, and unloaded and left all 6 boxes in the middle of my front yard.

Unacceptably slow
This was my first interaction with Shippit and service was dismally slow - parcel sat with the retailer for 10 calendar days (five business days) before it was picked up. As a reference: on the same day that I ordered the item from the local retailer, I placed an order with Amazon in the US. In the time it took for my local parcel to be collected from the retailer, my parcel from Amazon US was delivered. If the parcel had not been collected when it was, I was going to get on my bike and ride the 30 minutes to the store to get it myself.

You can't rely on this service
I have used them several times - but there is one courier from Couriers Please who refuses to pick up items. I pay Shippit to manage this, and they do nothing. They have been useless with this - I have had to contact Couriers Please several times myself. I am on the most expensive plan (Unleash). They are supposed to be managing this. They are ineffective.

I have explained that in the DM and requested a complaint to be made. But instead of raising it with Couriers Please, your employee has told me the goods are "unable to transport".

Terrible
Purchased a drone from Harvey Norman online (never doing that again either) and was informed it had been shipped EXPRESS POST on the 6th of April. For 2 weeks the tracking number remained invalid. Days spent back and forth between Harvey Norman and their non communication and Australia post who had no idea why the package had not been scanned. Finally it turned up out of the blue with the first and ONLY tracking scan being from my local post office to say it has arrived. Avoid at all costs!

Complete lack of care
Had a terrible experience dealing with shippit, a brand I made two seperate purchases from used them to deliver the products to me, both deliveries I was home, the first was left in the street in a garden which took me ages to find, the second was taken to the wrong street and wrong number, coincidentally I knew those people and was able to retrieve my delivery but before this I contacted Shippit for help and received a email from someone who clearly had no intention of helping me telling me to look in my mail box ( obviously the first place so...Read more

Worst Delivery experience.... Ever... And soooo rude
Worst delivery experience ever
Worst delivery experience ever. Rude belligerent delivery driver refused to drop delivery at my door and too heavy for me to take to my own door. Said his company was practising 'social distancing' even though we told him you don't need to come near us lol he left in a huff of rude I difference after leaving the 2 boxes in front of the communal unit doors making it a tripping hazard. I've just had surgery and had to very painfully move the boxes under my stairs so no residents would trip. I live up 3 flights of stairs and he had a trolley but he said it was his company's policy not to deliver to my door...

Is this real???
I have ordered frozen food and took few days to deliver and when i came back from food shopping as i ran out of food they left a note to come and pick up from the depot. Its frozen food and few days already passed. Its ofcourse defrosted and off.
I told food company to contact delivery company to let them know im not going to pick up as it will be off.
And food comany resent items again.
I received food today and opened. Its is all off and sticnks and leaked.

Great tool we use every day to book our couriers. Most of the time things are perfect and Shippit is easy to use.
Usually works perfectly and very low amount of issues. Syncs with the back end of our website to make things simple and saves time without having to enter in all the customer details each time.

Streamlined App with Big Commerce
We use Shippit as our first preference with logistics of small and larger items. Support is prompt and follow up is great. The local couriers can let the service down but that is sometimes part and parcel (pardon the pun!) of a 3rd party courier service. Very competitive rates as well.

Super easy to use platform with heaps of features & excellent company to work with!
We've been using Shippit for a few months to send out parcels from our retail stores and warehouse. Joining this service is hands down one of the best things we've ever done.
In the past we were using a different company to post out products to our customers and kept running into the same problems. Their service was slow, relatively expensive, unreliable at times, and was unfavoured by some of our customers (who have had issues with them in the past). ly reduced our cost of deliveries which has helped us be more competitive in our market and is allowing us to grow. Furthermore, the platform itself is so simple to use that with barely any training all of our staff are now able to book deliveries from our stores directly on the spot, even some of our staff who are not tech savvy. This has helped us cut times in having to transfer stock back and forth between our stores/warehouse and has made sending out parcels super fast and easy. Also, the option to view and select different couriers has become so useful that we can easily find how long each service would take for delivery and at how much it would be. This has streamlined our ability to quote delivery dates and prices for customer in store without having to keep them waiting to get back to them later. Not only that having the option to send parcel with express service has opened us up to more customers, especially as sometimes express service is nearly the same price as regular freight, sometimes cheaper! (No joke though, the rates are about 15%-20% less on average than what we were paying with our old service, and it will only get better as we grow!) There are a few extra features which we absolutely love, the reporting is amazing with all of the interesting information it gives based on average costs and delivery times and a breakdown of each couriers performance. We also get customers feedback on their experience with the delivery through Shippit which is excellent so that way we can make more informed decision on which courier service to use. Looking at some other reviews, I think people have been getting confused, Shippit don't deliver themselves, but rather help us easily connect with different couriers. The other amazing feature is the customised branding, we've been able to easily add our logo to the tracking emails and pages and have our logo on certain couriers shipping labels which is pretty cool.1 comment

Good and timely notifications of shipping process
I have never had a problem with this service. They advised me when the parcel was shipped and who was sending it, and refer to the courier tracking details. On delivery day again they notified me, and gave me tracking number and courier phone number (Fastway) for queries or to change to delivery options. I like this because it is a back up to the courier company notifications. I think any problems people encounter may be to do with the courier service selected rather than shippit? I believe depending on how the supplier of the goods ordering process works, you may be able to ask them to use your preferred courier, or to not use the ones you have had problems with. Worth following up with your supplier..

Disappointing service for an existing customer trying to leave
Our company has been using ShipIT for over two years. Ive never needed to contact them until as I am trying to close our account because we have moved to StarShipIT which is going to save us a lot of money for a similar, if not better service. Amazing platform for business'
Shippit has been a reliable and amazing platform for us to use for our business. It is extremely user friendly and their customer support is great. Our customers love the regular updates from the couriers. I would highly recommend them.
Shippit often gets confused as a courier company, but Shippit is in fact the platform in which merchants use to ship their orders out to their customers. It has been a game changer for our DC staff for pick and pack and saves us a lot of time.

Awful experience with Shippit.
Parcel delivered to wrong address and left in rain for a week. Parcel ruined. Shippit denied wrong delivery. Would not assist me and no apology given. They even said they had proof driver was at my address. Clearly they weren’t.

Do people not understand that Shippit is not a courier? Shippit is a tool used by online retailers to book the delivery of their shipments via various carrier companies. Everyone who has a complaint about Shippit seems to be complaining about the courier company that the retailer chose to book with, using Shippit as the booking mechanism.
