A fantastic oven and pyrolytic cleaning is a dream
This oven was bought July 2018, just 18 months after a regretful on-line purchase, which taught us to properly research what features we wanted, make a list of "must haves", identify makes/models that fitted our list, and visit a showroom to properly inspect each model with the XL printout in hand.
We narrowed the search down to 4 brands/models, and after an hour of checking the others out, we finally looked at the Siemens range. Adrian at Winning Appliances was incredibly professional, knowledgeable and understanding of what we were looking f...Read more
or within our budget. We had not even considered this model because it was out of our price range, however as the floor model was about to be replaced he offered it at an awesome price so we jumped at it. The performance of the oven has been beyond our expectations. It's used 3-5 times a week and we do a full pyro clean every 2 months, which brings up the interior almost like new. Things we love about it ... the smooth ball-bearing rails, the easy-to-clean trays (I clean them manually, not in the pyro cycle), the soft-close door, the 1deg C temp adjustment below 100C, the easy to navigate menu system, that it is able to keep the correct time (!), the interior light is at the front so you can easily see what's happening ... the list goes on. We've used the steam function a few times but our style of cooking doesn't really lend itself to using steam, we think. That might change after we go to a cooking demo. It's been almost 12 months and frankly we haven't felt the need to attend a demo as the oven's performance has been so good and we are always delighted with the results.Purchased in July 2021 at Winning Appliances for A$2,339.00.

Amazing love my wall ovens!
Great wall Ovens, easy to use functions. Just turn the knob to scroll and choose options or touch screen. Some functions are preset if you don't want to do it manually. I love the 3 slide out shelfs, due to my back injury I did alot of research before purchasing these ovens. I can grab any casserole dish from the front and wont burn myself on the door because the shelf arms come all the way out as far as the door, so it protects you also. I love how they become a grill also and have the steam option to keep food moist when cooking. Very stylish...Read more
to look at, and customer service is awesome, they really look after you as I had to replace one oven. No hardship they asked me to try a few things first, when that didnt work they sent out the tradie to remove it, and they just ordered me a new one so within 2 weeks new oven in place. Hi Bruce R
Thanks for the question regarding your Siemens oven model HR676G8S2A
It is normal for some moisture to be in the cavity after using the steam function.
To limit the amount of moisture, it’s important to set the water hardness in the basic settings and calibrate the appliance after that.
If you need any more help, feel free to contact us on 1300 167 425.
Regards, Siemens Home Australia.
Thank you, the water was set on medium have set it to soft after finding out our water in Gippsland is considered to be soft by international standards.
Fingers crossed.
Bruce.

Is this model plumbed in to water? Or do you lift the control panel and fill the container with water?
Thanks

You lift the control panel and fill the container with water :)
Yep Steve is correct, there is a small lift out water tank that you fill up and empty as instructed. One thing that I didn't find out until after I'd purchased was that if you are on tank water the company instructed to use demineralised water due to the hardness etc. But that is no issue. It is a great oven works well.
