I have recently bought the 8kg Siemens front loader and unfortunately am extremely disappointed.
The clothes that are washed are scrunched up and very very wrinkled and tied up into each other when i pull them out.
I have called your service number and was given an unsatisfactory response that being to try reducing the spin speed which i have done which made the clothes very wet and was told that i do have to iron some clothes and that will never be not wrinkled!
Can you please provide suggestions!?
Thank you

This happens to mine and is normal for a high rpm front loader. I simply shake out my clothes before hanging them to dry and most of the time I don’t even need to iron anything. As long as you shake them while they are wet it’s fine.

Thank you but unfortunately that’s not the case with mine. They are being washed into tangled balls.

This can be overcome by loading the clothes in intermediate layers of larger and smaller items, this tends to open up the load, give this a try.

Hi Merv. I notice you purchased your machine in 2009. Just wondering if you have the Siemens WM14W440AU or the very similarly named Siemens WM14S440AU? As your review is the only negative one on this page, it'd be great if you could confirm which model you have, Merv. Thanks in advance.

Hi Donna, your machine is different model to mine and havent had an issue with the door. If under warranty- maybe contact Siemans or just ask them your question. They may be able to troubleshoot problem in email or phone. Good luck.

Just looking ata new front loader. My Miele has died. I'm upset at how long the wash cycles are on the new machines. Is this a joke. Who has time for 2:5 hrs for wash cycle. How easy is it to adjust the cycle time? I need to know

Hi am loving my siemens front loader- one of the main things the cycles can be short. On the dial there is a specific 15 min wash cycle- so simple turn the dial to 'quickwash 15 mins' and press start. Other cycles are 30 mins and 45 mins. These are the common ones i use- 'The mixed' cycle is one of the shorter washes. And yes clothes are cleaner than my old top loader.. The time lights up in the LED section when you select a wash so you see how long it takes. There are longer wash cycles for bulky items. Winnings gave me heaps of info b4 i bought machine so maybe a good salesperson can help with further questions. I 'm same as you didnt want those ridiculous long wash times.

Hi Jenko ..so easy, just choose a wash programme depending on clothes, the display touch panel on the upper right allows you to adjust temp, spin time after you have selected a programme, wool wash will always be cold. I like a lower spin time for towels.
Love this machine IQ 700 WM14W440AU have been using the speed perfect cycle for big wash ..just one button to hit, takes 1 hour ....have used the shirts wash which has a less ironing function button if you wish to press, this changes the spin speed ..less creases .Another bonus you can choose to have the child lock engaged or not, my old machine would not open for 3 mins after the wash had finished...if home alone don't need it .
So good to wash a couple of items in 15 mins. Highly recommend reading the instruction booklet to get the most out of this machine .
