I think silverettes are a fantastic product that can make an incredible difference to a breastfeeding woman. Many of the Mums that I work with tell me that silverettes really helped them.

Feeding my 2nd babe had me end up with multiple bouts of mastitis and just very sore nipples for months, the only thing that gave me some relief were these silverette cups. They aided healing but also just gave my breasts time too heal without rubbing and sticking to my bra. They were honestly a game changer!

My baby has lips which don't allow a proper attachment so I get cracked nipples. I tried breast milk, the sun and else but nothing fixed it and in such short period of time like the silverette. Within a day the pain had dramatically reduced.
Unfortunately, there are 2 points I didn't like about it. The rim would dig into my skin and was painful. Holding my baby or tight clothes would make it worse. Also, you can't wear them in public unless it's winter because they show too much.

I decided to use this product as I had a terrible experience with infection last baby I breast fed. I’m so pleased I did. They kept my nipples moisturised and free of infection. They are comfortable and protective. It was peace of mind to have them and see them working straight away especially in the early days of feeding and I continued to use them daily. Highly recommend.

I found silverette out of desperation being 1st time mom and it is truly a life saviour. I wear it 24 hours whenever I am pumping. Am still using it for 3rd child now!

So good to control pain, infection and to keep the nipple shape to aid in easier latching (other products flatten nipple). Also because reusable it is more cost effective and better for the planet :)

These definitely made the healing process a lot quicker when cracking started. They offered a long cool relief that gel discs couldn't. Plus offered protection against any pressure from clothes etc that would cause irritation between feeds. I would put some milk in the cups before putting them on and this seemed to be effective.

I haven’t find benefits in recovering my nipples and they were leaving circle mark around areola causing discomfort so I stopped using them pretty quickly. For this reason I can’t say if they would have done the job in a longer term

I purchased these late in my breastfeeding journey, I had suffered damage many times which resulted in several cases of mastitis. My nipples just did would not heal despite using creams, gel discs, sun, etc. As soon as I used these the resulting healing was a miracle. It did not cure everything but it sped up the healing so quickly, about 4x as fast. The only downside is that they are too noticeable to wear in public but that was fine really.
Hopefully my next breastfeeding journey will be far easier, but I am glad that I now have these to help me. Would highly recommend these to anyone who has nipples that get damaged easily or are slow to heal despite fixing babies latch etc.

After trying these and not noticing a change I contacted a breastfeeding nurse and was able to get help on the cause of the issue which in turn assisted in healing my nipples and prevent recurrence

Within hours of wearing these I felt so much relief and in days, my nipples were almost healed! Such an amazing product, wish I had ordered them earlier. Would absolutely recommend

I couldn’t believe how great these were! it was such a relief to have a product that stopped the friction with my bra and also healed them so well at the same time. I noticed a build up of pain if I didn’t use them in those initial weeks. I now recommend them to all my new breastfeeding mums to be!

My cousin living in Switzerland recommended these to me (maternity care is very different over there to Aus) and while pricey, was absolutely worth it. I continued to use these for 1.5 yrs, and never needed any other nipple cream or nipple sheild. Everytime I had nipple damage I would pop these on and in no time I would heal up, often in 12 hrs. I mostly used them at night, or round the home in the early days of Breast feeding, you can't really wear them out, they poke out too much.
A midwife who saw I had these was very interested as she had heard of them, but not seen them. I can only hope they work for other mums as well as me.

This beautiful product is effective, economical and simple. Every time. There is no loop holes. The silver works to heal and protect. I recommend to all mamas to try when they first start feeding.

The silver cups dramatically helped my nipples heal faster this time around. They kept material off them so I was more comfortable during the day. I wouldn't wear them out in public though!

I have used silverware cups to get me through the pains of breastfeeding after weeks of cracked bleeding nipples. With another on the way they are a must have in preparing for our newest addition

I am so glad that I have found Silverette cups in Australia! This product is considered a must-have for breastfeeding mums in Europe. I had sore nipples and breastfeeding was becoming a sort of a nightmare, so I asked for some help to my Italian friends and all of them have suggested these cups.
