Hi Gerry F. In the Simpson user manual, a display code will appear and its "E10", and the description is ""Not Filling with Water. The advise given by the user manual is first to 1. Make sure both water wall taps are on. If that is the case Turn on taps. 2. Check if hose filters or Inlet hoses are not blocked. So, Try draining hose if water is flowing out of drain hose. Try Cleaning the Tap filters/ washers. Then Re -Start wash. IF PROBLEM REMAINS, Please contact Customer Service of Simpsons so they can call for a Service. I hope this helps. I am not a professional in this issue, just giving you the User Manual instructions. I have not encountered this issue. The warranty of the Simpsons Washing machine is 2 years.

Our swt1043 is not even one day old and can't use it. As it gets to 11 minute and starts to pump out all water and spins very slowly all water is pumped out when it reaches the 7 minute mark the simpson washing machine stops and shows e20 draining problem but all the water is out it has not spun. All the water is out why does it show draining problem?

Hi Des.. I am not an expert but since you said its not even one day old it is better you call or email them so they can give you a service man to come and check and the warranty is 2 years. I have not experienced that problem when I got it. Must be factory product fault. Maybe get a new replacement . But do not get me wrong, I have this washing machine already for 3 years, sadly in 2 years and half I have been using suddenly a problem or issue came up, after 2 loads of washing consistently it gives me a reading of E 30 every time. First load of washing no problem, it ends well and then after a second load of washing whether just a normal load or few loads of wash it will always ends up giving me a E30 and yes I have notified them but since I am passed the warranty stage I just gave up. They want to send a service man but I know I will be just paying for a washing machine which later again might give me issues, so I just leave it that way, I still use it and when the E30 shows up I just turn it off . anyway when the E30 shows my washing is fully done and ready to be hanged. I hope you can resolve your issue.

Hi purchased a simpson inverter swt1043 washing machine 10kg from the good guys was delivered 23/7/2019 ok so I'm having trouble with the fabric dIspenser i put softener in this section as have measured it so I would know if it is getting used or not I have tried many ways of doing this with the plastic cap on and with out it off with softener filled to the max, half way, even very low I'm running the cycle quick 20 and after many washes still no fabric softener is getting used I rang the company and was told to push down the plastic cap as I told them I have done this many times with it on and with it of with it pushed down and still no fabric is getting used on the quick 20 cycle so I went back to good guys with the whole dispenser and was given one from a display model and was told not to use fabric softener at all and do not use the plastic cap at all so I did what the sales man said with the cap of but did put in fabric softner as i want to use softener and again not working this is not right I should be able to use it if I want to he said dont use it to me it was bad for machine and my cloths couldn't believe what i was hearing he said this statement to get rid on my problem and me so I came home and use the replacement dispenser I was given with and without cap on, full and not so full levels of fabric softener still using the cycle quick 20 this is not right payed near $900 for machine that is a few days old and get this problem not sure what to do if this cycle does not use fabric softener well that would fix the problem but if it is supposed to I would like to know have hunted down the net for answers seen pictures of the dispenser with the plastic cap on as well as fabric softener in dispenser but no info on my problem how do I solve this could you please help like I said above if this cycle quick 20 does not use the fabric softener liquid then so be it please could some one help thank you very much

You need to push the cap down before putting fabric softener in the dispenser. No fabric softener is used for eco or fast rinse options.

Has anyone else had issues with the machine creasing clothes excessively? Our machine spins long and hard to a point that the clothes are almost dry when the spin cycle after the wash cycle finishes. Then it does the same again after the rinse cycle. As a result even wash and wear clothes have to be ironed. Adjusting the spin speed seems to have little affect. Any ideas?

Mine has the same problem, have you found a solution?

After emails back and forth to Simpson where I was basically told you need to iron your clothes anyway and the program is set and Simpson cannot do anything about it, I did find a solution to my problem. I still cannot believe that Simpson believe a 16 minute spin cycle is necessary and a 6 minute rinse cycle is sufficient and they cannot change a computer program to adjust the settings. Anyway, I am wiser for the experience and hopefully will not get caught again in the future. My solution was to program a favorite to wash in cold water with no spin. This means the clothes cannot go straight into a dryer but that works for me. The other option I found is to put everything through a dryer after they are spin to within an inch of their use by date. That also seems to get most of the creases out as long as you do not overload the drier and the clothes can move around freely. Just another added expense in terms of electricity. Hope that helps you.

When I put machine onto Delicates why does it go to Auto & why doesn’t the water cover the clothes? I have tried changing it to a Full wash but skips this it will go onto Low & Medium but not Full

1 answer
gward1211
gward1211

Full water level on the Delicates cycle is not available on ours, either. We tend to use Quick 20 or Quick 45 and water level selections are limited there as well. We haven't had a problem with Auto water level, but then again rarely turn off and lift the lid to check. When you say the clothes are not covered on the Auto level for Delicates, I assume that the clothes nevertheless get wet and properly washed.

My machine was making noise like gears slipping during agitation cycle. Had mechanic out but he hasn’t come back. Using only light loads now in case it breaks. Also inner bowl turns freely when stopped. Should it do this. One more thing is I don’t think it fills properly. Help and advice will be appreciated. Any suggestions?

My new washer arrived today. Was installed by the delivery men but during its very first wash I hear an ungodly racket and found machine jumping all over the laundry. Obviously unbalanced load but it didn't stop automatically.
When I opened the lid the whole bowl was off kilter and stayed that way. They are delivering a new one tomorrow. Has anyone else had this issue. My 17yo Simpson would stop it unbalanced but arent these new ones supposed to do that too?

At least it did not flood your house. We have $1644 in personal flooding and insurance excess cost damages from the flooding and the insurance will try to recover those fees. Electrolux phoned me today (After 3 months from the incident), and have finally offered to pay insurance access and have now refunded the machine cost (not the $55 delivery /install fee mind you). I refused a replacement, because Simpson's are just not properly checked on leaving the China Factory. We too have a 17 year old machine from Simpson (Oz made), and it is now back into service in preference!
That should answer your question, the machines don't necessarily do what they are intended for, from this China factory!.

Hi Neicie, We've just purchased one and are having the same problem with the machine bucking like a wild bronco during the spin cycle. Has replacing the machine solved the problem for you...?

neicie

The new machine is working perfectly. I made sure the installer had this one absolutely level. That might be your problem. If it rocks even the tiniest bit you need to level the feet to stop it.
