Bought Simpson since our last one never missed a beat for 10 years. The SWT9043 is brand new and hasn't even done one load. Will not spin and constantly gives the E20 error message. Followed all fixes online and in the user manual to no avail. Pretty sad state of affairs when it cannot handle a small load of normal clothes (not towels or sheets yet!). And yes we have checked all hoses, followed all instructions and tried turning it off an on again. It's a complete dud and will be going straight back to The Good Guys this afternoon and getting a different brand. Very disappointing Simpson.

I have had my machine for 24 hrs and it didn't make it through the first wash. The water doesn't empty completely and cannot go on to the spin cycle. And now I am going to pay out 145 dollars for one of their technicians to come out to look at it.

My hi-vis work clothes can get quite grubby but this machine keeps em bright.
The controls seemed confusing at first but I now have my normal wash cycle saved as a favourite.
Machine could be a little quieter but overall I'm happy and can't complain. I highly recommended this for Large families.

Have the last Hoover washing machine for well over 15 years not an issue until it died. Bought this new Simpson 9kg and the touch panel oftenly doesn't like being touch or responds to touch. Now doesn't respond at all.

Machine is not even a year old and already have continuous problems. I would recommend another brand.

Last I heard Samsung up their game after the fire fiasco and would be my next choice from here on.

I am in love with this 9 kilo washing machine, it is a great size, good looking with strong lid, water efficiency is great and I have never had a bad wash, never had to rewash clothes or linen. Easy to use and great when kids can't alter settings or open it

We have upgraded to a bigger washing machine from 5 kg machine in November 2017 and This simpson machine does an amazing job. It has few different cycles depending on how dirty the clothes are and depending on the fabric type and the agitator makes it even better to get rid of extra dirt. Not very loud, has a detergent and fabric softener dispenser, child lock system, soft close door. Overall very happy with this product

It cleans my cloths very well and it does not wear out any of my clothes it is very quiet I can’t hear a pin drop and my favourite features are you can set the settings how you want it and you never need to change them and it’s soo quiet

This is the best washing machine Ive bought. It works just like a front loader with an auto sensor so we arent wasting water and it's good for the environment. I can wash a queen size quilt so saves on dry cleaning bills. Has a great delicate cycle that doesn't ruin your special items.

In the past we had trouble with other brand washing machine. Our "old" washing machine get broken just after 13 months; We have purchased Simpson about 5 months ago on advice of salesman. Price was not cheap, but we can say - this is much better washing machine, compare to our previous one. It's a very silent and has given us an outstanding washing quality. Good, modern, but simply designed, great choice of cycles and all clothes are very clean. We think that washing machine is pretty economical too, does not use so much water and does washing pretty fast.

I just love this machine, it washes clothes like a dream, I really get dirty when out in bush and this machine washes them to the point they look brand new. It really runs smoothly and not that loud either. I wash everyday and this has not let me down. Well Done Simpson.

Purchased 9.5.16 Harvey Norman. Some very good flexible washing options including time cycle / adjustment, water level, rinse, spin speed option and eco function, water temp with a favourite function for saved custom programme. Filter easy to clean. User manual good. Not a fan of the standby mode. Washing quality todate has been good. Machine operating noise reasonable. Purchased machine with extended product insurance partly because some Simpson machines have been in the past problematic and this is a relatively new model. Although early days overall we are happy with this purchase and would recommend this model for consideration.
