Unfair charges- no refund for unfair charges- still waiting for reply

Skye assured if I closed my account before a certain date, I wont be paying annualfee. After unfair charge, Fernando Cabilla reported unfair charge of $99 supervisor. Still awaiting refund

As of the 21st of June, Lombard (flexigroup) changed to skye, cancelled a lot of peoples credit cards.
If this has happened to you, contact AFCA Australian Financial Complaints Authority and lodge a formal complaint. This formal complaint will halt any phone calls and/or legal proceedings against you until investigated. They cancelled my card due to their restructure.

Terrible service.

I took well over a week to get a replacement card. I had to email four times, each with different identifying information for compliance purposes. Every time I called the 24-hour line I record a voicemail saying I had called out of hours. Two weeks later and no closed to having my lost card replaced. I will be applying elsewhere before my international travel.

No International Transaction Fees makes this a good option but they have internal process/customer service issues that can be difficult to resolve. It should be straight forward to make repayments but there always seem to be hiccups.

I've had good dealings with these guys. It used to be Lombard but then became Skye. Has a good deal for Virgin Velocity Frequent Flyer points currently. Making repayments could be easier

Avoid this skye mastercard

Yes, good interest free days on offer. But the ongoing problems regarding repayment after that geez wheez, was charged dishonor fee. But the money was withdrawn from other bank account to make a repayment. Contacted their customer service was like talking to a brick wall or broken record, no resolution could be reached, when insisting there is nothing wrong with their system. SO AVOID AVOID AVOID like a plague.

Horrible and deceptive

This company tripped up several times while I was with them. My statements were incorrect, my interest was calculated incorrectly, I was charged late fees when I was not late with payments and then once I payed out my account they also tried to charge me a dishonour fee due to another mistake on their end. They also do not return calls like they say they will. You have to continually follow up with any issues and expect to be transferred to many different people to try and resolve anything.
DO NOT get finance through this company

Nothing quite like this on the market

Have had other credit cards before, and 90 days interest + payment free seems to be something that is unique to this product. Love the Motion Code technology too - still struggling to get my head around how they managed to pack a battery in there. Very clever indeed.

Just got this card from flight centre. I bought my tickets and accommodation to Malaysia. Because it has no commission on overseas purchases I used it over there. I reckon I saved myself $100s in commissions. Plus it’s 90 days interest free. Love it!

Resolution Flop

Had to switch onto this card and money was withdrawn twice on a different day of my direct debit. 3 customer service calls & supervisor advice, the issue has still not been resolved.

A great alternative to a regular credit card

I signed up for the Skye card when my hot water service needed to be replaced urgently, and I needed access to interest free. It was very easy to approved over the phone. There are plenty of interest free offers that are available, or you can convert any purchase over $250 into an interest free payment plan by paying a small set up fee. I find this feature so appealing, you can spread payments over up to 15 months with a 5% set up cost or chooses smaller plans if desired. The other thing I love is that there are no fees for international transactions. There is an easy to use app so you can do everything you need on your phone, but the call centre is also super helpful if needed.

My husband has randomly received a credit card in the mail today, literally without having ever applied for one. He called the call centre and was given no help what so ever. He was told that the application was made at a Michael Hill jewellery store, but once hubby started to question things and refused to give further personal information, the call centre employee suddenly decided he couldn’t give us any further information. Has anyone else experienced this?
