A lifesaver!
I was very reluctant to pay $45+ for something that is essentially a stretchy piece of fabric, but when it became obvious that I had a very 'cuddly' baby (that is, can very rarely put her down, especially for day sleeps) I knew I would need to invest in some sort of carrier. With a newborn, the backpack style carriers are bit big and cumbersome, and the Sleepy Wrap seemed worth a try. It has been a LIFESAVER - I have saved my shoulder and back considerable pain and discomfort. The Sleepy Wrap distributes the baby's weight beautifully, so you ca...Read more
n barely tell she's there! Also, and most importantly, the baby settles and/or goes to sleep within a few minutes of being in there. When shopping the other day, the pram was just not cutting it, bub was crying up a storm. We put her in the Sleepy Wrap and 5 mins later she was out like a light. It's a magical piece of equipment - my partner was even able to try on jeans when out shopping while bub slept peacefully in the wrap - amazing! It's much cheaper than the Hug a Bub wrap (which is nearly 3 times the price for pretty much the same thing), and comes in a massive range of colours (so picking something gender neutral so the dad feels comfortable wearing it is easy). Any difficulties learning how to use it or putting it on in public are far outweighed by the fact that I can cook, clean, shop, eat with both hands and with bub sleeping soundly. I would recommend this to ANYONE with a new baby; it works everytime! Cheap compared to other versions available, easy to wash, allows me to 'cuddle' and comfort bub while doing other things as you can have two hands free A bit difficult to get on the first few times, not that practical to put on anywhere but at homeSimilar opinion? A lifesaver for the first 3 months!
The best $45 spent especially when bub was newborn-3months. She was too small in our other carrier and did not feel comfy hence we bought the sleepy wrap. It takes a bit of practice to learn to tie the wrap and also how tight you need to do it up as there is a bit of stretch in the fabric. But once you get the hang of it, it's really easy and bub is so comfy in it. We use it everytime she gets fussy and get calms down immediately and often falls asleep so quickly too. The wrap is also very useful to cover their heads/faces once they fall asleep...Read more
. I've had so many people comment that she looks really comfortable in the wrap. It almost feels like she's nicely tucked inside your t-shirt, just like a part of you. Very comfortable for bub and me, distributes weight nicely across shoulders and waist. Easy to wash, have used it to mop up spew at times when outside. Very compact and easy to bring out. Much cheaper than other similar wraps. fiddly to put on at first, not as easy to put on when outside as have to be careful of long fabric ends going onto the floor. Too warm to use during summer.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Love this!
This sling is brilliant. When I first opened it up I was a little daunted by the amount of fabric that rolled out, but once you have a couple of go's trying to tie it, it is very easy. Getting bub in can be a little tricky if you have a squirmer, but in all its very comfortable to wear, and my baby always falls asleep in it. Be mindful the fabric seems thick and bub can overheat if dressed too warmly or in summer. You do get an instruction booklet with it that demonstrates (with photos) all different wraps you can do for infants through to toddlers. My husband was willing to try it, but only got put off by the colour I chose (purple)..
Very comfortable

Super comfy and great support!
I've got 5 kids and have tried lots of slings but the sleepy wrap is far better and i would never go back to strap/buckle carriers. Very easy to tie with a bit of practice, excellent support for baby as she grows and doesn't make my back hurt. Love it, absoluteley reccomend it and i think so would baby Ellie.
Very comfy ans supportive and grows with baby.
Nothing once you get used to wrapping/tieing it.

Good
Was recommended to me by my Osteopath. Love the Sleepy Wrap. Baby falls asleep in it every time and seems to like being so close to mum!
Easy to wrap, good support for both mum and bub, comfortable to wear, stores easily when not in use, great for travelling without taking a bulky carrier.
Can get hot in warm weather

OK
I was excited the first time i wore it as my newborn fell asleep instantly and i was able to get on with jobs. I wore it the next day to a shopping centre and he became very upset because it was so hot in this (even in the airconditioning). I havent worn it since, but i might try again in winter.
Baby fell asleep quickly
Leaves your hands free
Far too hot for QLD (even in aircon)
Too hard to put on

I really love this wrap and only wish both of my children had been born earlier in the year (Aug & Sept) so I could get more use from it while they're little!!
It is great to wear - very comfortable and the weight is evenly distributed. It always fits and even hides a few flaws. I carried my older son until he was almost one. I love the colours and the ease of washing!! My sleepy wrap is constantly going through the wash after an overenthusiastic cuddle from my 2yr old during meal times!! lol
It gets a little too hot here at times (45 degrees C today!) to use the wrap anywhere but inside in the air con, but I wont be taking bub anywhere in this heat anyway!!

After trying many other carriers I could not live without it, wish I had it with my first son. Will buy one for anyone I know who's pregnant or has a little one. Best investment!
Very comfortable to wear and comfortable for my 4 month old son too, he falls asleep in it every time! Great for going out in, I've been to parties with the wrap on, no need to take pram & no problem finding a safe place to put him down to sleep he sleeps in the wrap. Also saved us money, we haven't needed to buy a double stroller to fit baby and 2 year old toddler. Ve...Read more

I love this wrap, my daughter lived in it for the first 4 months, I could wear her all day with no back or shoulder discomfort. Comfortable even post caesar. Can be a hassle to tie when out and about so I would pre-tie the wrap in the morning and just pop baby in and out during the day as needed, easy! Love it!!
Fantastic, comfortable wrap. Easy to wash, easy to pop baby in and out once the wrap is on. Cheap, great colours.
I don't really dislike anything about this wrap. Takes a little while to learn to tie the sleepy wrap, but my 8 year old daughter learnt to tie it so an adult should be able to!

Highly reccomend, very comfy, supportive for parent and baby, comfy post caeser too. Great colours, i have brown. I think it looks great too.
Very comfortable to wear, supports well over shoulder and lower back so weight is evenly distributed. Stretchy fabric makes getting the perfect fit easy, unlike the Hug a Bub which you have to allow the right amount of room for the baby to fit comfortably. Comfortable for baby/child to wear, wont dig in anywhere on their body. Can throw in the washing machine, and dries very fast.
I personally don't disli...Read more

I love it, best carrier I've ever used. It feels like a tshirt & is so comfortable, I can wear all day & not have back or shoulder pain. My bub loves it and instantly falls asleep and can sleep for ages. This would be one thing I can not survive without
Cheap, comfortable to wear, great for bub, helps bub sleep & soothes when upset
Was a little tricky at first, but after two attempts I had the hang of it. Before I got the sleepy wrap I watched some clips on youtube and referred to the hugabub instructions (same concept) and it wasn't too hard

l love this wrap! l have used several types of carriers and have found this to be the best on my shoulders and back even after a few hours. it did take awhile at start to learn to tie it, and still takes awhile each time you want to put it on, so it is a matter of being prepared before you go out! it always sends bubs to sleep and holds him very close which is lovely.
easy to store, sends my bub to sleep, can carry any sized baby, one size fits all ~ no need to adjust straps for hubby!!, easy to clean
difficult to learn to tie initially, takes awhile to tie on

How do you use the baby wrap therefore I don't have instructions how to do so.

It doesn't come with instructions. I found a tutorial on YouTube. It's a two part video and I had to watch it 20 times before I got it down pat. It's easy after that though. Search sleepy wrap on YouTube. The video I watch is called "EASY Sleepywrap (baby wrap) Instructions but there are a heap on there. Hope this helps.
I did the same as above. YouTube is full of videos of parents putting babies in wraps! I recommend practising with a doll first :-)
Ditto, I had the instructions and found YouTube gave me more detail & different ways to wrap.
