Ash K.SocietyOne

Hi Vicki, thank you for your question!

You have the option to:

- Apply for the amount you currently need and if you are approved you will have two active SocietyOne loans. Please be aware this will mean two repayments and two interest rates.
- Apply for the amount large enough to payout your existing loan and be transferred the remaining funds.

Please go to www.societyone.com.au to perform a quick rate quote. At page 3 of the application, you will be provided with an indicative interest rate based on your loan amount, loan term and your SocietyOne loan grade.

Kind regards, Ash @ SocietyOne

Hi Seleena17, thank you for your question!
If you get a quote from the SocietyOne website, it will not affect your credit rating. If, however, you proceed past the point of quote and begin a formal application for credit with SocietyOne, it will be recorded as an enquiry on your file which may affect your credit rating.

Ash K.SocietyOne

Hi Meryl, thank you for your question!
We do not charge any early payout or termination fees. If you wish to settle your loan early, you only need to organise a formal settlement with us where you will only have to pay the balance of your loan plus any interest accrued up to the date of payment.
If you have any further questions, please call us on 1300 144 221.

Can you explain to me why you offer an interest rat of 19.9% for someone who has a fantastic credit score in access of 750 score

1 answer
SocietyOne
Ash K.SocietyOne

Hi Irena, thank you for your question.
Our interest rates are calculated based on a soft touch inspection of your credit history, of which your credit score is only one aspect of it. If you have any concerns regarding the rate you were offered at the point of quote, I would suggest contacting the credit bureau Equifax to get an updated credit report for yourself.

If we got an offer, does that mean you can still decline the application?

Hi Eva, thank you for your query.
Once you fill out the application, you will receive a conditional offer from us which will set out your interest rate and your repayment amount over your chosen term.
Following the acceptance of your conditional offer, you will need to submit your documentation to us which will then be assessed by our credit team who will make the final decision as to whether we can approve or decline your application.
We hope this answer has been helpful to you. If you have any further queries, please contact us on 1300 144 221.
Kind regards from Ash, on behalf of the entire SocietyOne team.
