Faulty 2 times in a row
The first speaker I got, the battery only lasted 4h30min. The replacement won't turn off, can't reset it, wouldn't connect to wi-fi, unresponsive. Going to swap for another one now because when it works it's really good, although you can only listen to music through the wi-fi, you can't listen to movies audio or YouTube unless you have a sonos system, an iPhone that uses airplay or smart tv or you watch movies through an app that lets you connect to audio devices like spotify does. You have to use the Bluetooth to watch movies off the net or a ...Read more
usb-c cable. So you get half your money's worth I suppose but sounds better then a lot of other Bluetooth speakers when using Wi-Fi so i still want to use it if I can but with so many bugs and let downs I might have to choose a safer product. Hope this gives people an idea about this product and how it works.Purchased in May 2021 at JB Hi-Fi Retail Stores for A$650.00.

Great Speaker
Such a great sounding speaker, one of it's major perks.
I love being able to move it around my home to as well as how easy it is to use.
It has google assistant in it as well, although sometimes it doesn't work very well there's room for improvement on that aspect.

Pretty good, love the convenience of taking it from inside into outdoors area
Am a big fan of Sonos and have many speakers. Use the Move as one of the many speakers in my home. And love the fact that I can just pick it up walk outside to say the pool and the music just continues. I bought it specifically for that and not as a Bluetooth travel speaker, think it is a bit big / heavy for that. Pleased with the sound, although it seemed richer when in wifi mode than on Bluetooth? It would be nice to be able to use the Move as a satellite speaker with the beam soundbar - currently not the case.
Purchased in September 2021.

As good as I was hoping for
I’ll put it up front; I’m a fan of Sonos. My house is full of the stuff and I love it all although I’d hate to sit down and add up what it has all cost me. The cost has been worth it though as I’ve been rewarded with wonderful quality music provided by bullet proof hardware.
It has concerned me of late that the current crop of inexpensive Bluetooth speakers are pretty damn good and I was in the market for a good portable speaker. And then came along Sonos Move - right on time! I couldn’t get one quick enough.

quick word about the packaging; brilliant! I hate packaging that is difficult to open and I hate ripping open nicely printed (and potentially useful) boxes. Sonos get a 10plus for the packaging. Everything opens easily and the cardboard box seems to have been made by the same people that produce flight recorders. Well done Sonos and keep it up. The Move reveals itself to be an extremely solidly put together unit. It sets up like all Sonos products, that is, easily ! The only extra step was to set up Google Assistant in the app but that was virtually automatic so it all got up working quite quickly. I had read that the charging dock was flimsy; several reviewers had mentioned this. I found the dock to be light but well made and definitely up to the quality of the rest of the product. No issues here. As a matter of interest, the battery was holding a 60% charge out of the box so I had music straight away.Purchased in September 2021.

It's been confirmed battery life only last about 5 hours at full volume and should last about "10hours at moderate volume" as advertised. This seems to be done this way because advertising 5hour batte... Read more
