Good portable double breast pump.
I've recently purchased 9 plus for my wife. She is very happy with the pump and has been using it both at home and outdoor. The pump is a close system and very light weight hence easily to be carried around. Price wise is very reasonable for the pump. Cleaning and storage of the 9 plus is straight forward and easy. One downside is that the motor sound can be loud but bearable. I would recommend the 9 plus to any new parents and Spectra does produce high quality stuff.

Amazing!!
I've had my spectra 9+ for two weeks now, and it is amazing! So lightweight & compact. Easy to take places with it being portable. Pumps quietly, very discreet for the work place. I don't think I would of been able to pump for my son when returning to work if I hadn't of found the 9+. Love, love, love!!!! Will definitely be recommending to all my family & friends.

Love love love my Spectra 9plus
I had an electric breastpump but did not feel that it suited me and since I heard about the positive reviews of Spectra's 9plus I decided to give it a go. I have not regretted purchasing this pump and love my Spectra 9plus for its easy assembly and usage. It seems that my pumping timing has been cut shorter as well with the S9plus and the yield is the same compared to my old pump. I'm also very happy with the customer service from Spectra Australia (professional and prompt).
Easy to assemble and comfortable usage, great customer service, shorter pump time!

The best portable breast pump on the market!!!!
I have been exclusivley pumping for 9 weeks now and it would not have been possible without my Spectra pumps! I had previously been using the Spectra S2 as my main pump and the Medela Swing as my portable pump but I found that the Medela was still leaving my breasts engorged and very sore (even though I used the 24mm, 27mm & 30mm breast shields). As I loved the Spectra S2 so much I decided to buy the Spectra 9 Plus and have not looked back!

Amazing pump!
I absolutely love the Spectra 9 pump. It is so light and portable making it super easy to pump on the go. It's simple to use and I love the display screen which tells you how long you have been pumping. Very easy to switch between single and double pumping with seperate tubing for each side unlike some other pumps which require changing from single tubing to a t tubing adaptor. The pump is also so quiet I can hardly hear it going!
Cannot recommend Spectra highly enough, pump arrived promptly to my door one business day after ordering. The staff at Spectra were also wonderful to deal with and answered any questions I had very quickly.

Perfect/light wt/strong
I highly recommend buying the spectra 9 plus.. It is light wt, very strong suction (haven't needed more than level 5 and it takes 10 min to get 150 ml).. Battery has long life (needs charging once/week if you use it daily). It is perfect for the job.

Great pump at a fantastic price!
Excellent budget pump if you're pumping daily and/or at work. Easy to use, comfortable and portable. Can pump straight into wide neck Avent bottles if you use those. Great service, when I had an issue with the power supply, they had a replacement in the mail within 24 hours. It did fall over a few times before I started laying on its side to pump.
Pros: lightweight, does both breasts or just one, built in timer, back flow protection, excellent price.

This is a great product! We did our research before buying a breast pump. Originally we were looking at purchasing a Medela Swing as they seem to be the best known. about 1.30pm the next day – VERY IMPRESSED! The product itself has been great. Very easy to use and clean. The pump pressure is more than plenty. My wife only uses level 5, and I think it goes up to 9. There’s not much more I can say but that our introduction to the world of breast pumps (a brand new world for me) has been made extremely easy thanks to the Spectra 9 Plus, and the price is great compared to other models. Good morning, I have been using the Spectra S9 for almost a year now. It has worked perfectly. Yesterday when I went to turn it on, it would not work. I thought it must be dead, so I plugged it in and it worked. When I was finished pumping, I kept it plugged in so it would be fully charged the next time. The next time I tried to use it with a full charge, it would not turn on unless I had it plugged in. It still works perfectly if plugged in but this is not possible all the time for me. I need to pump without it plugged in. Any suggestions or thoughts on what could be going on?? Thank you!

I’d say the rechargeable battery has died. How old is it? I don’t know if spectra would replace it or if you could buy a new battery for it

I've had my spectra 9 plus for 9mths now. when I pumping and I try to go past suction 4 it all feel the same and it really not pulling the milk out the breast. Any help?

Hey Ashley, sounds like your shield kit parts are due replacement.
We recommend replacing them regularly to avoid suction loss which can affect your pumping needs, or impact on your output.

I’ve had my Spectra 9 Plus for just under two months and as of about 2 weeks ago, while pumping, it will stop having suction, however it still sounds like it’s trying to suck. I’ve checked all my parts and reassembled the kit and it is still an issue. When it stops having suction, the back flow protectors don’t move either. What can I do to fix it?
