I bought the S2 4 years ago for my 1st born. I’m expecting a 2nd one, can I still use the pump? I’m hoping to get the s9 covered through my insurance this time around for travel and work but want to use the S2 at home.

Pump fell on the floor now there is a rattling sound inside my s2 when I shaked it. The pump still turns on and suction though. What could the rattling sound be?

It could be broken clips that hold the battery or other parts in, or a battery that has come loose.
Hard to know without looking.
This does void the warranty I am afraid, but if you are concerned and want our service centre to look at it, we can arrange a paid repair.

Hello Spectra,
My pump has stopped working for me this morning while I'm at work. I have been using it for 5 months, and have been pumping 3 times a day upon returning to work about a month and a half ago. It will turn on a pump a little, but shut right off after a few seconds. I have already processed a warranty claim, but is there anything I can attempt to do until my new pump arrives? Can I pay for overnight sipping on the warranty replacement pump? I feel like this is a Working Mom's biggest fear is her pump going out at 8:00 AM on a Monday!

Hi William, if this is not an issue with the adaptor not being assembled correctly, it will need to be seen by a technician.

Sometimes this may happen to a pump if the power adaptor is not the one that came with the pump, or water damage has occurred.

Does anyone know if this can pump into tommee tippee bottles that are shaped like a breast or does it need to be a spectra bottle? What about pumping directly into pouches/bags? Do they also need to be spectra brand? Or can you use any brand bags such as tommee tippe, medela, advent etc

Hi Chrissy, thanks for your question. :)
The Tommee Tippee bottles will not fit with your Spectra shields I am afraid, but if you get the Express and Go system, you will be able to pump directly into bags compatible with that system, using the adaptor provided.

Hello,
My Spectra has been randomly shutting off during my pumping sessions. The timing is sporadic each occurrence. I've chacked the plug from the pump to the charger, and the charger to the outlet and even tried different outlets and it still happens. Please advise, thanks!

Hi Lizzie - I am sorry to hear you are having some trouble with your pump. :(
The most common problem we have found when pumps are doing as yours is, is that the Australian adapter isn't fully pushed into the charger. It does need a little bit of elbow grease, but you will hear a loud click when it has been pushed down all the way. Can you please take your adaptor apart, and assemble it again, till you hear that loud click?
If that does not help, can you shoot us through a message to [email protected] so we can explore this further?

You can try taking the adaptor apart and reassembling it, making sure you hear a loud click to know it is assembled correctly.
