This is a warning, do not buy from Spreets. They are crooks, but they don't sell their own stuff, so they say they are not responsible if anything goes wrong. I bought a holiday voucher from them, which is proving to be impossible to use. But when I ask for a refund, they finally get back to me one month later saying that they are in no way responsible. I bought a voucher earlier this year for a holiday in Thailand and went to book it about a month or 2 later through another company that were looking after the spreets deals but were not the hotel (they are called Ezy Stays - wait till I talk about them) but basically they told me unless I was a full paying customer I could not book untill it was in low season because the hotel was fully booked - rang hotel - availability at all times.

I have used them a couple of times and found them good for their travel deals. That's because it's something that you don't have to wait for any of their 'merchants' to arrange for shipping.

Other than that my wife and I have had never ending problems with this rip off mob. From items being inferior and not as described (then a refund refused despite THE LAW stating that a consumer is entitled to such if a product is not as it's meant to be) to items not turning up at all.

Bought 2 Magnetic Fly Screen Doors from Spreets Jan 16. When they hadn't arrived mid Feb, I complained and was told to look at fine print - six weeks delivery time and I had to be home to take delivery (if I'm not home, I have to pay extra delivery fee. Sent Spreets an email complaining this is unfair - how can I stay at home for six weeks!!! It's now March 2. Still no fly screens arrived and no answer/correspondence from Spreets.

Bought a Go Clean and Green voucher for $69 for a two hour $150 professional House Clean. Made at least 12 attempts to contact Go Clean and Green but answering machine referred you to web site which didn't work so rang again but answering machine referred you to web site etc. Getting a satisfactory outcome from Spreets was not much better and I wont bother again.
Outcome was $69 for nothing - that's Spreets value.
I am not even sure Go Clean and Green even exist.

I purchased a voucher and could not make a booking for a time to use it before voucher expiry. (Side note - I didn't leave it until the last minute - it was still 3 months before expiry date).

So submitted a refund request as soon as I realised I wouldn't be able to use the voucher. This is a summary of my experience:

- Submitted a request using the online 'help' desk.
- Follow up note sent - no reply
- Second follow up note sent - no reply
- Almost one month later decided to take some action and tried to call
- Phone number not on website so needed to scour the internet to find it[number removed].

Purchased 6 vouchers and used 2 which I had no problem with. In June, I tried to use the remaining vouchers when I was told I could have burgers but they have no movie vouchers to give to me. I called one of the cinemas straight away and was told they were no longer giving out the movie vouchers to the other merchant or excepting them because the burger place had not paid their bills.
