Well it's been 2 years of family usage my daughter withe my new grandson have adopted the car ...it has hardly faulted ...only throwing up a limp home fault which was actually due to lack of routine engagement of the low range gearbox option. It was sticking and failing to engage. A number of continued selections exercising the solenoid cured the problem.. 3 years of brilliant motoring. So happy.

Bought 2005 270 Diesel with 246Kms on the clock from the Perth Auctions paid an enormous $3400. I have run it for the last 2 months long trips short trips.. I enjoy putting fuel in it.. It's that good.

Great space.
Great fuel.
Great comfort.
Stereo is very easy to use.
Aircon is freezing cold.
Back seats are better that Range Rover 2007 Supercharger.

The car had done me good for 6 years i must admit but the design of the small features is utterly disgraceful, recently i have had both my keys break on me due to the weak plastic and huge plastic key (open/close button), i now am in the process of praying that the local mechanic up in regional WA will fix it other wise i have to get it trucked down south.

Have had the car for over a year it's a 05 model 270XDi luxury thing, have done around 7000km since. Gets a good fuel consumption on a high way around 7.8L/100km and around town is in the 11L/100km mark. Nice car to drive and a nice price I disagree that it is only a so called ''rich persons'' car, new it will cost something like $45K-$50k.

Have had 2.7l Diesel Rexton auto 5 seater since July 2005. Used regularly for towing double horse float 1/2 horses. Auto doesn't like towing up very steep hills with lots of bends so must change to manual pref. before getting to steep parts. Had manuf reps check this and claim unable to be fixed. Too many components to be reprogrammed. Have managed fine since knowing what to do but may have bought manual rather than auto. All features of more expensive cars & very economical. Updated review.Have had Rexton for 2 years and have towed a 17ft caravan around Oz in that time albeit all on major roads. Found it an excellent tug, fuel economy av around 15lt per 100km whilst towing,around 10lt per 100km normal use. No problem towing in top gear even with cruise control (used properly,not in hills)found best towing speed 90 - 95km/hr.Quite happy with off road performance, however, we are not dedicated off roaders.
