Not happy with rubber bits throughout the washing. I have to rinse the clothes on the line with a hose.
The machine is good in size. Bit noisy when it spins and washes.
Easy to operate with the press panel.
The Heavy duty washing is ok again very noisy on spin cycle
Purchased in May 2021 for A$350.00.

Dose what it's meant to
We bought this because we got sick I LG one every 2 to 3 or 4 years packing in so we bought a cheaper unit this one and it hasn't done so bad. It's not perfect but come on what do you expect when buying cheap. Some stains haven't been removed

Cheap Average Washer
We bought this only on price and I now wish we had spent a bit more on a better machine.
It has a good large capacity and doesn't take too long with a load but I think it has an under powered spin motor because you need to get the clothes exactly even in the drum to get a good spin dry.
We have had no reliability problems, it always works it just isn't that great quality

Fantastic value for money; cleans well
Have had this for a few years now and do at least two loads a day. Love the ridiculously cheap price. Cleans my clothes very well. Having no agitator means I can fit so much into it. After about two years of ownership the lights started flashing, the cycle would not finish and it would make a beep sound. Called warranty and to my surprise it was quite a seemless process. The repairman came out within a week with the part and serviced the machine as well. Showed me how to clean the filters in the hose so the water didn't just trickle out, so now works like new. Sometimes it does tangle, but that's the same with all machines I have used without an agitator. Fantastic value for money. Absolutely recommend.

Very Poor Customer Service From Tempo
My machine is 1.5 years old and still obviously under warranty. I have emailed Tempo 7 times now and just keep getting told they haven't received my proof of purchase. I have sent my emails from a gmail account and a work account. The promised 24 - 48 hours is rubbish. It has now been 15 days and Tempo couldn't care less. I'll be looking to take this further.

Faulty machine Stirling washer
Stirling 6.5 top loader. Model: XQB75-570 washing machine
Has not worked for weeks, poor service in W.A, am requesting a refund, only two months old.
Given the poor reviews here and elsewhere, I believe Aldi has an obligation to admit these machines are of poor quality, and issue a refund.

It's pretty good for the price so far.
I only wash in cold water so my review is based on that. Washes the clothes well. Sometimes the spinner doesn't wring the clothes dry. If you don't clean the lint filter every time you get little bits of residue on your clothes. All in all for under $300 its pretty good. Yet to be determined if it lasts or dies at 3 years. Noisy spin but doesn't worry me.

Shocking machine, worse customer service
This has taught me a lesson for buying cheap Aldi appliances. This machine is rubbish. It worked for a week and then stopped (and even whilst it was operating, it didn't wash the clothes at all well and damaged some items). The suppliers (Tempo) didn't want to know about it.

Would not recommend
I have had this washing machine for about 5 months now and have found that it does not clean clothes and towels properly leaving dust and chunks of material from towels even though they have been washed separately and the filter has been emptied.
I like the touch features, but find that is is quite loud.
I understand that it is cheap but it's still not worth the trouble of having to dust clean everytime your clothes dry. I will definitely be buying a renowned and recommended brand.

very good washine machine. great price
A good & inexpensive heavy duty washing machine. Just purchased in the catalogue sale. Quiet and works like a dream. Impressed. Thought it would be dodgy but has a 3 yr warranty. I was very keen to review for those hesitant people. You will be pleasantly surprised at the quality and performance

Crap customer service
So I buy a washing machine from aldi, yes I pay for what I get lol. The washing machine has stopped working now the tec has 48 hrs to contact me then it could take a further 2-4 weeks to fix. Wow so I have to pay once again to clean my cloths and I still have the product that aldi states on the phone massage is only of the highest quality lmao. Never again aldi and if I could send you the bill for the laundromat I would. Fell robbed.

Oh what a tangled mess we weave!
Had this machine for a few months, we bought it on price and supposed ALDI quality. Now I am appalled at the way everything is tangled into one big mess, nearly pulls shoulder muscles everytime to empty the clothes out.
It has been reliable but the wash quality is poor. I have had to re-wash many articles and fluff adheres on everything.
I am now looking for another machine.

Pretty Decent for the price.
Given the price of this washer - $100 cheaper than its nearest 'brand name' Samsung 6.5KG, it was a bit of a risk. Especialy given the good reviews the alternative recieved. vs the not so good reports from previous aldi washers. Not to mention others in this price range like Midea, and Haier.
this is however, a completely different washer to the eariler Aldi Stirling models and has a 3 Yr warranty, so thought we'd give it a go since we're tight on money at the moment. Aldi's 60 day Guarantee gives Some peice of mind in respect to 'taking ...Read more
a punt' . The warranty, incidently is an extra year over the samsung, so that certainly swayed me. After about a month of use I'm pretty impressed by its core functionality. It performs its main purpose.. Cleaning quite well, with no Lint issues to speak of, (with a sturdy and effective lint filter) and has never gone out of balance (i.e stopped) since we've had it. The Fuzzy logic programs seem to work well, I've tried small to large loads, and it always appears to add the correct amount of water, and adjust wash time appropriatly. It's not all good news of course.. Like a LOT of modern impeller top loaders, it will tangle clothes together if you do a large load with lots of long sleeves and pants. The Delicate wash cycle doesn't seem to suffer this. Keeping the load size down, if there's long sleeve shirts and pants in the wash helps a lot.2 comments

ashamed to sell such inferior goods. Not that they would know much about how long their products last. My phone call to discuss the issues were rejected out of hand, coz it was out of warranty! Just wait a while n see.was it this exact model? with the 3 yr warranty? I ask because many people on here assume they're all the same when in fact they come from many different OEM's. Also, you may have had some grounds to... Read more
get some warranty assistance still only 1 month out.. but that's another issue. when looking for some more info on programming I found that this particular model is from the same OEM that manufactures Sanyo washers, infact this does have a Sanyo branded equivalent, so if it does die outside warranty, getting parts from China shouldn't be too difficult.Similar opinion? Landfill Waiting to Happen
Wasted our time bringing this home. Took it back for a refund after reading the manual (quoted below) before unpacking. At least once a month you need to pull the machine away from the wall and turn it around, get to the back of it and "clean the Drain Pump Filter regularly (once a month at least)." (Page 24) That bit was on the second last page. Failing to do this will void the warranty because in the front of the book "We assume no liability for any eventual damages caused by improper or faulty use." (Page 6) I expect most people would not ha...Read more
ve the time, the ability or the motivation to do this level of regular maintenance, even if they do read the manual. The machine will inevitably break down and the fact that the Drain Pump Filter has not been regularly cleaned will void the warranty. Bound to be a costly mistake. Next time we will insist on seeing the manual before we leave the shop. We have bought perfectly good electrical items from Aldi in the past, this is not one of them. Functions look fine. Aldi's refund policy. Unreasonable maintenance requirements which void warranty3 comments

completely against what Product Review is about. I happen to have a recently purchased Samsung 7.5kg toploader and it has exactly the same warning about regular cleaning of the pump filter. I bought the Samsung because of the many positive reviews on Product Review and the cleaning of the difficult to access pump filter was rated as an absolutely minor irritation by me and others. Thanks Reinhold for your detailed and encouraging review. It seems the 9kg Aldi washer was a lemon but this one might be worth looking at more closely. Hope we see some more credible reviews on this product.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

I have black rubber bits in my washing. The filter, hoses and machine is all clean. Would there be a rubber seal under the agitator that needs replacing ?

Hi there. Our machine gets to the spin cycle, and stops. Comes up with an E4 error. Is this a simple fix please? Thank you.

Hey Loz, ring the Aldi support line 1300 11 43 57 an ask them what the E4 error is. They are open Monday to Friday: 8:30am - 6:00pm (AEST) and Saturday: 9.00am - 5:00pm (AEST) I gather you have already tried re-balancing the load? That never happened to me. Hope this helps!
