After many years of patchy hot water, there is a god
Re-plumbing the house resulted in a long run from the kitchen to the hot water tank and a plumber from hell used to many right angle joints resulting in a reduced flow.
Quoted $2k for an under-sink cylinder, then along comes the Stiebel SNU5 on the auction site.
Bought it popped it in under the kitchen sink and away we went, all was just so easy.
Alas the cold water ran hot. Tried everything and the NZ Stiebel help desk people were absolutely wonderful as well, but they had never heard of this problem.

These things are superb and so easy to install.
But with my secondhand one the "Cold" water gets progressive Hotter the longer the tap is turned on.
Cold connection is fine,
The hot is hot
The connections to the heating unit are the right way round.
A new 40mm flat cartridge has been put in.
Siebel haven't heard of this one before
The mains pressure flow is not huge but pretty reasonable.
Any ideas to get the cold cold anyone?

The SNU is designed to be connected to cold water supply only. It sounds like the hot water supply is connected to the SNU - but we'd like to troubleshoot this with you further. Feel free to call our service team on 1800 153 351.
