Worst machine I've ever owned. I wish there was a no star option.
This is the worst machine I've ever owned! Noisy, ineffective, breaks easily and often, and wrecks your clothes. Never buying a machine of any kind from Aldi again. I've started washing my clothes by hand its so bad. Aldi needs to hang its head in shame for endorsing such a product.

E5 Code
I've had my washing machine for 4-5 years and love it but now I have an E5 code what does this mean............................ It washes great does the job. Quiet
Couldn't ask for a better washing machine. It's never once had a problem until this E5 code just come up on it.

Get what you pay for
Bought this washing machine as I was sick of owning a front loader and it was cheap for the size. Definitely get what you pay for! I have owned it for 3 months now and I do approx. 4 full loads a week. It doesn't clean clothes very well and to my surprise it has actually stained a couple of clothes. DO NOT put towels and clothes in together, you will be de fluffing your clothes for days. It makes a loud squeaking noise on wash and rinse cycle as the machine turns. No matter how much fabric softener I put in, the machine must digest it because it definitely doesn't put it on the clothes. Other then those things, it is a good budget machine. Would not buy another aldi machine though.

Fantastic value for money; cleans well
Have had this for a few years now and do at least two loads a day. Love the ridiculously cheap price. Cleans my clothes very well. Having no agitator means I can fit so much into it. After about two years of ownership the lights started flashing, the cycle would not finish and it would make a beep sound. Called warranty and to my surprise it was quite a seemless process. The repairman came out within a week with the part and serviced the machine as well. Showed me how to clean the filters in the hose so the water didn't just trickle out, so now works like new. Sometimes it does tangle, but that's the same with all machines I have used without an agitator. Fantastic value for money. Absolutely recommend.

Model number
can you tell me where I find the model number on this machine, as it needs new water valves, the water just trickles in machines takes for ever to fill, If to expensive might be best to purchase new machine that lasts more than 4 years ...thanks for your help.

Very Poor Customer Service From Tempo
My machine is 1.5 years old and still obviously under warranty. I have emailed Tempo 7 times now and just keep getting told they haven't received my proof of purchase. I have sent my emails from a gmail account and a work account. The promised 24 - 48 hours is rubbish. It has now been 15 days and Tempo couldn't care less. I'll be looking to take this further.

Better off washing by hand!
Got this washer as it was within budget at the time and it was the worst decision ever!
Tangles up the clothing so bad that most of the "delicate" material types will stretch or rip. There isnt that thingy in the middle to spin etc which is very weird. I did hesitate to buy it at first but being pregnant at the time and sick of washing by hand we got it. The lint catcher to this day i have no idea where it is located... from day 1 i realised it didnt clean the clothes properly and left them with a musky smell? Even though i use a high aroma detergent!! Definitely save yourself the headache and by another brand.

Not bad but not greta
Very loud
Tangles clothes very badly, clothes are very crinkled and need a very good iron once they're done.
I find I have to do about 2-3 rinses to get things clean properly even on different settings the machine still doesn't give them a good clean even when only a light soil or a freshen up.
Wouldn't buy again

Faulty machine Stirling washer
Stirling 6.5 top loader. Model: XQB75-570 washing machine
Has not worked for weeks, poor service in W.A, am requesting a refund, only two months old.
Given the poor reviews here and elsewhere, I believe Aldi has an obligation to admit these machines are of poor quality, and issue a refund.

Excellent value but not built to last
Whilst the machine is excellent value, easy on the bills and great for the family, its just not made to last. You do get what you pay for. Have had to have it in for repairs twice now, and although when purchasing it I didnt expect it to last for more than the 3 years warranty, did not expect to have had to have it replaced and for me to be inconvenienced 2 times. Overall features are great and ALDI had good intentions, but warranty support is a hit and miss and very tedious.

An awful experience
I bought this machine in 2016 and it had an issue just a month after I had it, would get to the rinse cycle and stop with an error message. Reported fault, repair man came out and couldn't find anything wrong, made some minor adjustments in the control panel and said that I may have to distribute washing more evenly!! (not what i would expect to have to do with an automatic washing machine)
It worked ok after that though clothes would often come out very tangled I was very careful not to over load, occasionally it would stop with the same erro...Read more

It's pretty good for the price so far.
I only wash in cold water so my review is based on that. Washes the clothes well. Sometimes the spinner doesn't wring the clothes dry. If you don't clean the lint filter every time you get little bits of residue on your clothes. All in all for under $300 its pretty good. Yet to be determined if it lasts or dies at 3 years. Noisy spin but doesn't worry me.

Very good and nice washing machine

Good working through out warranty
I bought this which was fantastic for big loads of washing. But the lights on the machine stopped lighting up properly with in a few months when I first bought it, yet the machine kept working fine. I could have extended the warranty. I have had the machine for three years and was about to chuck it out going back six months because of water damage then it dried out and started working again. It has now stopped spinning and draining. Was good whilst it lasted. Did not seem to last as long as other brands, but was value for money with big load capacity. I would buy this machine again at that inexpensive price. $299

good family machine
Our Stirling 9kg has been a great machine. Much better than "popular" brands at twice the price and they are smaller in capacity!. It has handled 3-5 loads daily from this family of 5 for years.
.Once the panel got moisture in it and we thought that's it! Remembering that's what happened to a F&P machine we had,but no, It dried out, and has been fine since.
It has started to go off balance a bit when spinning but that's our fault for tossing in heavy items. We throw in blankets, big towels, bathmats, shoes, anything that needs washing. Al...Read more
ter for big loads or adjust for small. Tangles the clothes a bit. But without the agitator it fits more in the same space. Its a compromise..We've had many different machines and would trust this over other brands. Looking for another soon and will retire this one. We will buy another Stirling. Our son and his girlfriend bought a Stirling 9kg.Not wanting to spend $700 on a replacement. They to, have had no issues. If you have a big family, on a budget, grab this machine. It wont hurt the pocket like the other brands that seem to break down more than this model..Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Great Machine
This washing machine is simple & easy to use. Would buy another without doubt! Happy to recommend to others as a great product. My mother got one a few years ago, and loves her so I thought for the price why not, Im just as pleasantly suprised with its quality.

Excellent for the price
I am very happy with my Aldi 9kg washing machine. It is quiet and fast. I can control how much water is used. It does knot up the clothes but if you pull them out as soon as the cycle stops and give each garment a good shake (and I do tend to hang my clothes on hanger to dry) its probably not too bad. I like that I can wash my Q feather doona quite successfully. I have pets and all their bedding goes in. The filter grabs most of the hair and I empty it after every wash. I use Aldi soap powder and am happy with that too. I don't like the...Read more
ir soaker much but the soap powder is as good as any other on the market and a whole lot cheaper. I could have spent 2 to 3 times the amount of money on a new washing machine and I don't think there would have been much difference. It just remains to be seen how long it lasts. I do an average of about 3-4 loads per week.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Almost OK for the price
The machine has a lot of good points, especially price. It is quiet, has a good spin cycle and does a reasonable job of cleaning. However, it leaves fluff over everything and rolls the laundry up into a tight ball which can be a real drag to unravel. I am told that it is a feature of impeller based washing machines and there is nothing to be done about it. It grieves me to throw away a reasonably new washing machine that is in good working order, but we have resolved to replace it with a machine that uses a flexible agitator.

Very happy with the service and the machine
First purchased this machine 2 years ago, and overfilled it (as not recommended to do so) the machine then stopped draining and eventually filled beyond half way of the drum. I took the clothes out, emptied the water & took the machine back to ALDI with the original receipt. I was offered a full refund on the spot. Fortunate enough for me there was a new machine on the shop floor! The cashier refunded my machine and put through the new one so I was covered for an additional 3 years warranty. Overall, very satisfied for the price, service and the machine itself.

I have black rubber bits in my washing. The filter, hoses and machine is all clean. Would there be a rubber seal under the agitator that needs replacing ?

Hi there. Our machine gets to the spin cycle, and stops. Comes up with an E4 error. Is this a simple fix please? Thank you.
1 answer
Hey Loz, ring the Aldi support line 1300 11 43 57 an ask them what the E4 error is. They are open Monday to Friday: 8:30am - 6:00pm (AEST) and Saturday: 9.00am - 5:00pm (AEST) I gather you have already tried re-balancing the load? That never happened to me. Hope this helps!

The power control panel has gone again after warranty replaces in Nov 2018 yes it gone again where can I get one and price? [email removed] gold coast (Rawlings)

I was told by my washing machine panel that a) it was not worth it, take it to the tip b) the parts are near impossible to get, c) stay away from Aldi washing machines adn d) buy a Fisher & Paykel. I do know if you want to that if you ring that service line they also sell spare parts but they are very expensive. So I trashed the machine and bought a fantastic reconditioned (old) Fisher & Paykel 8kg for only $180 & it is the best money I ever spent, look for Michael Felz on Facebook marketplace he advertises all the time & gives a month warranty. He is great, this is one of his adds: "Fisher & Paykel. 7.5 KG FREE DELIVERY $170". Also there are heaps of F&P generally on marketplace it will be better money spent!
