Updated progress of our house via "voxer app" is really very helpful to us since we are miles away(6/12 hour drive) from Toowoomba. We are happy with the cost which they honestly met our budget. The quality of their job are beyond exceptional. Any issues are actioned immediately and very accurate on the target date in building our house - earlier that expected actually! :)

Once you sign contracts they no longer care. Signed October 2018, slab was poured March 2022,frame and roof went up, all great. Now the fun began, 2 different batches of brick went up, so half had to be pulled down and right batches sought. Turns out the sand used for the mortar was poor and there is already cracking with blow out from the cleaning. Windows are not centered.

We have built our first home with Stroud Port Macquarie. When we originally looked at builders, Stroud was on the more expensive side compared with some other local project home companies like Adenbrook and Coral Homes. We spent a long time doing research, and in the end Stroud came out on top for value and quality for money, and included a lot of the things that we would be paying to upgrade with other builders.

The team at Stroud Northern Rivers were great to deal with. From the sales manager who helped to visualise and complete our plan and liaise with the council, the team we worked with on finish and colour selections, and the building supervisor who was in contact with us regularly to talk about how the build was progressing and discuss any issues.

I selected the Stroud Homes Toowoomba Team as I needed accurate costs upfront so I could get finance approved. My blocks is slightly difficult and I do need quite a bit of earth works. Pat was great with providing me usually 3 options for anything our of the ordinary usually a low, med and high so I could decide on what was right for me and my family keeping in mind I want a high quality home but for value.

Our construction started in April 2017. Due to a design flaw which was blamed on us construction was stopped at our request and new plans drawn up at our expense and approved. Approval given in July 2017, we didn’t get the keys until August 2018 (26 week build expected).
Our windows at the front and rear are off centre - we didn’t change them, just how they were drawn up. Again our fault for not noticing. Floor tiles were badly scratched, some replaced. Very poor quality tile but surely they should have been protected until handover. Alfresco d...Read more

I know that I'm going to be asked to take this factual review down as not to 'tarnish' the Stroud Homes name however I feel compelled to let people know of the substandard work and sheer lack of detail and workmanship that we have endured during 12 months of building with Gray Family Homes T/A Stroud Homes Geelong.
