I purchased a home and land package to avoid stress of buying these separately.
Unfortunately, Summit did not deliver on expectations.
I have built three homes one with Red Ink Homes, Ross North Homes and Summit. All other builds were on time, within expectation and on budget EXPECT Summit.

‘Trust is our proudest achievement’. I beg to differ. Based on my experience, trust and integrity are sorely lacking. The behaviour, based on my experience, seems to be blatant profiteering. There has been absolutely no basis for some of the numbers and/or variations they have attempted to send through. We have very bad experience with Summit. During our building process and before we fully paid, they made an awful number of mistakes, which we asked them to repair, replaced etc. Every time we had to go trough painful number of emails and phone calls.
During whole building process they replaced:
- one sliding door 3 times,
-twice rendered front and back (due to wrong color ),
- moved 3 times vanity in the bathroom,

The initial meet and design process went really well and we felt very confident and excited that we had made the right choice in building with Summit. Paperwork and Pre-start was a breeze but from there it was a downward slide. Constant delays, tradies seem to have a public holiday every Monday as we rarely saw work happening after the weekend. We purchased a brand new property in March 2011 that was built by Summit Homes in Late 2010. The initial owner built the house for immediatre sale upon completion. It has been 8 since our purchase and we have recently noticed leaks in the roof and gutter however when we contacted the maintenance team, we were informed that the 25 year structural warranty was only valid for the initail owner and that second owners were only entitled to 6 year warranty from date of handover.
