Sunbeam Alinea Collection Kettle

Love the look of the kettle in white! The matte finish makes it look luxurious without the price tag. Boils water quick, pretty light to lift, big opening at the top. However after a few days pretty nasty cracks started to develop at the top of the handle! Not sure if it is the chrome layer or the actual plastic cracking? I am pretty devastated as I struggle to find an attractive and affordable alternative. Wonder if this is a design issue or I just happen to have a defective one.
Purchased for A$75.00.

Great functional kettle
Great kettle so far, bought 3 days ago, and no whistle! (Which is what we wanted) quick boil, a little loud, but does what its supposed to do. Very happy.
Purchased in January 2021 at David Jones Retail Stores for A$89.00.

Great Kettle.
Great Kettle. Looks the goods with led lights, in timeless black and chrome. The kettle boils water quickly and is cool to the touch. What more could you ask for!
