Four months to the day and, to announce the toast was ready, it went bang, along with the lights, TV, computer and microwave. Just a tripped fuse but alarming none the less. Heading back to Big W with the carcass

Perfect toaster

published

This toaster is perfect for our homemade, larger slice bread. It is sturdily made and easy to clean. It toasts evenly brown according to the setting. The Browning Control allows for plenty of variability, while the Quick Check feature is useful for monitoring the colour. The bread slots are 14.4 cm long. No manufacturer gives this information in the printed specs but talk about the width, ie regarding the thickness of the bread. Many toaster slots are only 13 cm long. We are delighted with this toaster and gladly recommend it.

Not a good toaster

published

This toaster comes with many good features like being able to side the toast up during a cooking cycle for a quick look, but the sad part is it does not cook well. Burnt crusts, while the middle of the bread is not cooked. I have tried many different settings to get the bread to cook well, but come to the conclusion this is not a good toaster. Since replaced with a Kambrook and have perfectly cooked toast again.

2 Settings White or Burnt

Bought this toaster about a year ago, slow from the start. We toast every morning and have to adjust it each time, to get the middle toasted it burns the edges, because I paid $70 I gave it a chance but the toaster we had for 10 yrs prior toasted more reliably than this one ever did

Great toaster, lasted several years.

published

After buying (and returning) several expensive toasters, I decided to give this toasted a go. I have had it 3 years now. Used daily to make between 6-12 slices of toast (family of 6). The only problem I've ever had with it was the lever not staying down, which was easily fixed by giving the toaster a good clean out.

It's pretty good

published

Had it a few weeks, and it's been pretty good. I got a black and grey model. Doesn't look that fancy but it's functional.
Writing a review because when my old one broke couldn't find a positive review of a toaster it seems people just bag them when they break.

A great toaster, bit bigger than normal 2 slice.

published

This is a great toaster and does what it needs to...toast bread. That said I have had to up my usual setting of 3 to 3.5-4 as bread is still quite light when it comes out. The 'quick check' function is OK and I found myself using it when I put it back down for a bit longer. It fits crumpets and bread roll halves well. Only issue is its small but bigger than other small 2 slice toasters, there's quite a bit of body around it especially the ends compared to how big the actual toaster slots are. They don't seem any longer than a standard toaster too. I purchased from Big W just in case it didn't perform I knew I could return it without too much trouble.
