The topper will add an extra 10cm to your bed, so your standard sheets should still fit over the top of the topper depending on the depth of your current mattress.

If you do have a particularly thick mattress you may find that you need to purchase sheets with extra depth.

John is completely right, sometimes the pillows do have a slight odour from the vacuum packaging, if you leave them out to air in a well ventilated room the smell should completely disappear in a couple of days.
You can also pop them in the wash to completely freshen them up.
