Very bag experience.
Walked in and bought a car battery from Ashfield store .
Manager serving me said that it was card or cash and if cash had to be the EXACT AMOUNT of money.
Walked out as so did the rest of the people lining up behind me.

Appalling experience in Supercheap Auto hoppers crossing
Walked into Supercheap auto in hoppers crossing you buy some touch up paint. There three staff at the paint area. The guy greeted me and I asked him about the paint then a lady cane to assist. I asked about mixing paint she just said a large container would cost $35 can and touch up is $21 and dashed off to join her colleagues at the paint desk for a chat while I still had questions about what size and what was my best option . The experience was appalling hence many companies shut down. This person not to be named but will describe is medium in built and wears glasses. In my view she needs to be taken back into training. Totally appalling experience.

Service not good
Went to the Lake Haven Store to request a front headlamp globe replacement
Was told that they didn’t have the staff ( saw numerous staff and two people behind the counter not doing too much)
I was told basically it was all too hard
I told them that I would go to Auto Barn which I did
They happily did the job and even up sold new led globes
Left very happy
Not happy at all with Supercheap

Customer service
They have men who like themselves. They are trying to sell the most expensive options. They don't want to show different options. They are not willing to deal with the customer.

delivery scam
if placing a order with Supercheap Auto then go to the very bottom of the page and read there terms and conditions especially for special orders. I placed a order with them it was a special order in the term and conditions it say delivery with in 1-10 business days what this means is 1-10 business day for the item to get to them then it get sent to you. so it really takes up to 15-20 days BE AWARE

Boxing day sale online order mistake made by myself.
I ordered on line a set of DBA T2 brake discs for my 2022 Colorado pick up unfortunately the hub mount was incorrect for my year model. I contacted SCA by phone and they referred me to my local store SCA Essendon .I returned the discs to them and the Guy behind the counter arranged for the correct type for my vehicle to be in store the next day.I unfortunately did not get his name but he also kept the price at the Boxing day sale amount, much appreciated.I have used the Essendon store before and always found their sale prices excellent and the staff helpful. Thanks Rob Maxwell.

Pro-Quip brand of jerry can spouts only work with Pro-quip brand jerry cans. This is a massive safety hazard.
Pro-Quip brand of jerry can spouts only work with Pro-quip (Or ridge-ryder) brand jerry cans essentially locking you into supercheap auto branded jerry cans. This is a terrible idea which might in some circumstances cause someone to lose their life especially in the bushfire prone future that we now face, supercheap auto are essentially killing people for greed. By Supercheap modifying the jerry can spout so that it only fits over their brand of jerry cans and no others they have essentially created a massive safety risk which could in certain ...Read more
situations (such as refilling a generator) create a massive petrol fire by the customer not realising it until its too late that the spout doesn't properly fit over their non-supercheap auto brand of jerry can and fuel pissing out of the 1MM WIDE gap made around the joint where it joins the jerry can mouth. In addition to this this means that nobody can ever borrow the pro-quip brand of jerry can spout for their jerry cans so if you lend someone your spout to refill their generator you could end up being a party to murder.Similar opinion? Disappointed with their service and lack of knowledge
I had a nice project to renew my outboard cowling. So I went to Supercheap Auto to get some spray paint. I have used cheaper spray paints before with good result.
This time, as It was a special project, I asked the staff for the better ones. He said to use the Septone Acrylic Gloss line. But also said he's never used it before!
The result was NOT gloss at all. Even after wet sanding and compound polishing. When I went back to Supercheap to ask about it, they know nothing and would not help in any way.

Fantastic customer service
On 7th January 2020 I went to the Sandgate store to see if they had an air filter for my car. I spoke to a very polite young man named Andrew.
He was very efficient, informative, and helpful., He went out of his way to assist me.
Extremely good customer service, and an asset to the business.

Poor product quality, racist staff at Water gardens store, Taylors lakes
The staff here are downright racists with very limited understanding of the products they sell. Especially the staffer named "[name removed]" and her Friend [name removed]. They gave me a faulty car stereo and denied liability asking me to go the manufacturer of the stereo, My car manufacturer, Back and forth to their store twice from Yarraville in peak hour traffic. When questioned about it [nae removed] replied to me saying "YOU Might have got your" Indian mate" to install it thats why its not working " . At-last I got my stereo replaced afte...Read more
r throwing the ACCC rule book at them But the process of going through it is horrendous and condescending. Whilst I Understand they will now deny any wrongdoing I wish I recorded [name removed] conversation with me, it would have gone viral by now. Worth mentioning the store manager was pleasant to deal with and acknowledged the unfair treatment and explained the reporting process. Do comment here if any you have been through the same treatment in this store and stood up ."Racism has no place in civilized society ".Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Car fuses fried!
My 10A and 20A trip meter and central lock fuses need replacement after SCA installed Century Car Battery - 55D23LMF, 540CCA for my I20. Brought the car in on Sunday 29 Dec to SCA Victoria Park store in WA for a battery change. The staff recommended the Century battery. A store mechanic installed it. Later, I noticed the trip meter and central lock is not working and returned to the shop, was then told current was injected and proper procedures were followed, thus nothing else they could offer except I should google online to reset my central l...Read more
ock and will contact me should they found any relevant videos. I haven't heard from them. Damage is $215. The next day I took the car to Hyundai for a check. They informed me the fuses were toasted, they replace the fuses and reset the trip computer, radio and central lock. Cost me additional $160. If you have late model vehicle, please think twice before taking it to SCA as their "standard" battery change procedures may not be friendly to your car electronics. Update 28 Jan 2020: I lodged a complaint online with Consumer Protection, Case no# 182335 Department of Mines, Industry Regulation and Safety www.dmirs.wa.gov.au and SCA SCA manager, [name removed] contacted me and offered to refund the charges and reimburse the cost to replace the blown fuses. I received the payment on 24 Jan albeit having to sign a waiver to further claim.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

How are they still in business?
I have been a supplier to this company and a customer.
We basically supplied them our worst chemical product, it was basically dyed water and supercheap called it coolant. That pretty much sums up most of the useless junk they sell.....it's just junk.
When I go to their stores to buy something on special, it's usually out of stock. The staff are generally rude and unhelpful. How is this company still in business?

Great store!
Have always found SCA staff to be friendly and helpful. Store has a great range at competitive prices. They will hold items for you and even transport some items from a nearby store to my local store if it's not in stock there. Definitely one of my fav stores, plus the website is pretty good too. Cheers.

Nice Service
I visited Supercheap today intending to replace my car battery which I reckoned to be deadish. A very capable staff member tested my battery and told me it was OK and just needed a good charge. No new battery needed today!

Great female customer service
What I like about the Gawler store is it has a number of females working there! It's great being a female and being served by a female. And they know their products too. I don't feel 'judged' when I ask a question like I do at other auto stores when served by a male. The male staff are great too and all the staff both male & female are always happy and smiling and always ask if they can help you.
