Quite a few things not quite right
Supercheap had there Toolpro 100Litre Sandblasting Cabinet at 1/2 price. So I bought it.
Here are all the things I found wrong so far:
1.) Side door hinges not lining up with the slots so impossible to close. MAJOR Quality Fail. Needed to file the screw holes into slots so the hinge could be moved down so that it lines up with the slot.
2.) Same hinge had different size slot width so bottom hinge fits, top hinge to large. Needed to grind down the hinge claw so that it can fit the slot. Another MAJOR Quality Fail.
The above 2 point show that nobody at the manufacturer ever tested whether they doors can be closed. Amazing.
3.) Air Leak in hose connection. No big issue as there is plumbers tape provided...Read more
4.) Cabinet light completely useless as it is piss weak. Will need to replace for a much higher watt bulb. So overall I didn't expect much and got less then that. Also, something else to be aware off, which is not a fault of the unit but needed. If you plan on doing many jobs and/or long blast sessions then you will need an extractor. Without it dust builds up REAL quick and you can't see a thing and also the air that you pump into the cabinet needs to go somewhere.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Waste of Money -Don't bother joining Club Plus Membership
I joined the Club Plus Membership in Aug 2022 for $5 and since I was told that I will get $10 off my next purchase. However, I was NOT told that the initial $10 credit will expire and need activation. Only after 2 months, Today Oct 2022, I was told at the Rockdale store that the $10 credit has expired and I have not activated my card. Waste of my $5 joining fee. Plus the staff serving at the store/ cashier was not friendly, rude and has ZERO Care factor!! Very poor customer service.

Mislabelling of product and poor staff attitude
I went to Blackburn store, Maroondah Highway and asked for wiper refills that was stated online to fit my vehicle. This staff member asked for my car details checked on computer and handed me the refill pack. It comes with two refills. The correct wiper length was 26 in and 17 in but the pack stated 26in and 12in. I pointed it out to the staff member. He said it fits the model and year of my car, but it does not fit my car.
Supercheap carry a good product range. Unfortunately, from my personal experience and from quite a number of reviews here, there are badly let down by their dismissive and unprofessional staff.

Horible Customer Service After Thier Own Error!!
Ordered 2 tins of 5 litres general purpose thinners online (paid). Given 2 tins of 4 litres each. Complained that it isn't fair and asked for a solution.
--->Was told to take it or leave it (Refund).
I can appreciate that they ran out of 5 litres tins. I suggested that I could buy 2 more tins of 4 litres and be given a free 4 litres tin to make 4 tins equavlent to 5 litres for being screwed around.
1) Was told that they cannot give me a "free" tin, but they are happy to rip me off by more than 2L on the initial purchase!
2) Suggested they d...Read more

DIFFERENT STORES DIFFERENT PRICES
I purchased a product from their Para Hills store while I was in the area. Was happy with the product so went to my local store to purchase another one. Only to find out it was nearly $10 dearer for the same item. The salesmen said the price difference between stores doesn't happen. Well I can assure you it does. Be careful when buying from Supercheap Auto

Easy to use
This site was very easy to use. Its was very easy to find the part I wanted as all you need to do is enter your number plate and the state of registration. From there you are given all the options of parts that fit your vehicle. This was much faster than using other sites.

Beware of upselling.
Purchased a battery online. On collecting from store was told item was not recommended for vehicle and needed to upgrade as per computers advice. On doing own research (RACV), vehicle needed 500-600cca battery as first purchased not the recommended 720cca I upgraded to. Was inconvenienced and wasted time by accepting wrong advice. Won't be so gullible next time. Staff helpful but rely on computer not knowledge and experience. Know your own vehicle.

3 days before warranty end our Supercheap battery failed and no replacement even with RACQ printout. Warranty a sham
After 3 days of consultation with Supercheap and Century our battery under still under warranty failed. Result was RACQ came printed result, Supercheap disputed. No battery replacement on long weekend. 18 month warranty seems a waste of time.

Terrible customer service
I was in the Ipswich store for 10 minutes looking around for items for my car and none of the workers approached me to offer their help. They all seemed more concerned talking to themselves or pretending to look busy. So I didn't purchase anything and never going in there ever again.

Poor service at Taree store
Went into Taree store yesterday to buy a dashcam, an approx. $250 purchase. You'd think it would be worth some reasonable assistance from the Customer Service Officer (CSO). We spent 15 minutes examining the displays on our own and picked out our device of choice. Called the CSO to select item from locked cabinet. Couldn't find item and indicated he would check out the back. Came back and said item was discontinued. We then started discussing some other options. After a short discussion he advised that he hadn't heard our question because someo...Read more
ne was talking to him through his earpiece, and asked for the question to be repeated. During the further discussion he locked the cabinet so we couldn't examine the other options available. A tradie 'mate' then walked up to him and said he would see him down the back shortly. The CSO's interest in us then deteriorated to such a point that we said we would leave it, thanks. We then went down the road to Autobahn, where we received excellent service and purchased a Uniden unit for $229.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Very satisfied with level of support
I've been a customer of Supercheap for some time and am quite satisfied with the level of service received when using online store in conjunction with staff support in local store outlet.
There's been some hiccups along the way, usually with sale items and website not working fluidly, however issues usually get sorted out along the way.

Very rude staff, I could only see 4 women at the counter chatting to themselves when I walked in and asked to help. I needed a front headlight bulb and I was just pointed to the isle and told to find it there. Once in the isle another lady told me she thinks this is the globe as that's what the booklet she had said but was not sure. I asked if someone can help me get the old globe out as I tried and wasnt able to.. she said 'yea but it's $10
fee' . Umm what?
I just said no thanks and went to the front counter to pay. I paid $20 for the globe a...Read more

Excellent service Jasmine from Campbelltown store
I went in to super cheap campbelltown yesterday. After 3 things. Spark plug for my Chinese quad bike, thermostat for my hilux, driving bulb for my triton.
Was waiting at service desk when I was noticed by a worker called Jasmine and she asked if she could help.
She went straight on computer and let me know, no thermostat in store, so she ordered one in for me, (which came today)..
She look up for globe and found it quickly, and then the spark plug which took a bit longer cause it was Chinese and had to find matching NGK spark plug and got me b...Read more

Always great to deal with, solved my ordering issue promptly!
I've been dealing with Supercheap for some years now as I like the huge range they have and the really good specials. I normally order online to take advantage of specials and select pickup from the store closest to me. I've always found the orders get picked super fast, and notification it's ready for pickup is usually very shortly after the store opens for the day. I've also always found the staff polite, friendly, and very helpful on every occasion!
I think a lot of other businesses could take a leaf out of their page when it comes to custo...Read more
mer service. I recently had an issue where I discovered a credit I had was going to expire at midnight Friday that night, so promptly placed an order, however, the credit got swallowed up by the system when I inadvertently placed, and then changed an order after applying the credit just before. To Supercheaps credit, I emailed support, and rung through Sat morning to try and recover it. The online accounts staff, on a Saturday, had it fixed and I was able to complete the original order and picked up the order around an hour later. I couldn't be happier with the response, and service from Supercheap. I would consider them a great company to deal with, extremely prompt and professional at all times. The lady at the Dandenong store (really sorry, don't know your name) deserves special mention, as I've found her to be especially helpful and polite every time I've been there, not a misery guts like a lot of people can be.Similar opinion? Good value, Convenient, Helpful Auto Parts
The Bowen Qld Store has a wide range of parts and accessories for most of your car needs. The staff are friendly and helpful and generally knowledgeable. Pricing is generally good (better than the other car parts place in town, which is geared more to the trade), and the SCA own brand products are always good quality, and at least equal to the premium brands, at a lower price. Quite frequent specials, which are worth looking out for. Some of the smaller "convenience packed" eg: blister packed items, like fastenings, clips, etc, are way overpric...Read more
ed - better to go to a hardware store if you can. But they are almost always open, so if you are doing a job on the weekend, for example, and you need it, you pays the price. But some hand-tools and power tools are very reasonable. I have an issue with the SCA stocking policy: Being a small store, they could have a wider range of products, regularly re-stocked (they are on a major trunk road, with carriers going past the door all the time). Instead they receive pallet-loads with maybe two months supply of items that may take days to unload and take up shelf space. This then causes problems with updating price labelling, which can get a bit annoying for the customer. If a product runs out, it may be ages before it is re-stocked. I am sure a more imaginative and pro-active corporate carrier / stocking policy would be more cost effective and more convenient for the customers (and staff). The rewards scheme is not like the norm... you don't earn points when you shop. But you do get credits to spend if something you buy is discounted in their next round of specials, which occur frequently. Always nice to get an email from someone saying they have sent you money to spend in-store. But bear in mind, the credits expire at the end of each month. Overall, a great outlet - great service and convenience. And if there is a problem with any item you buy, they will sort it out without any quibble. Furthermore, if you are passing through town, and they don't have a particular item they will check on their system, so that you can get it at another branch, of which there are many.Similar opinion? When my order SAU0001100867 placed on the 13th of March is likely to be delivered.
Despite two emails to Supercheap, asking for the tracking number and not receiving a reply, I am coming to the conclusion that Supercheap is fraudulently advertising 50% off a product they do not have.

How much deposit to order in parts
1 answer
Didn’t ask me for a deposit but save yourself aggravation and give online ordering from Supercheap a miss. Their customer support is rubbish and they are as slow as a wet week. Took them nine days to send me a coolant hose, after five days I asked when I might get it and all I got was we are waiting for the supplier. No initiative from Supercheap to ring the supplier and ask. I’m amazed they’re still in business
