Great products and friendly, professional service
I went to SCA in Noosaville for new and brighter halogen driving lights. I not only found the right globes at a great price, but had them installed for $15 by a friendly, knowledgeable employee. Join their ClubPlus for even better price deals on a huge range of automotive products.

GATOR DASH CAM PROBLEM
Visited Jindalee Qld store a couple of weeks ago after experiencing problems with my Gator dashcam. Spoke with Nick and after he had spent considerable time endeavouring to rectify the GPS recording it was decided to return the device to Gator. Upon return we were still no better off, so Nick swapped it for another Gator (different model). Nick spent a further half hour explaining the operation of the camera.
I could not have asked for better assistance, and I must say that Nick is extremely professional, knowledgable, and helpful . he would be an asset to any employer. Supercheap you are very fortunate to have Nick in your employment. It would be very remiss of me not to express my appreciation to all staff members at Jindalee.

Totally wonderful. :-) :-)
I brought a NanoCam Plus in July 2022 at Stones Corner, it was faulty on taking it back to the store I brought it from, they never had one to exchange so recommended go to another store..I went to MacGregor (new store) and asked to see the Manager, there I met Jess (Jessica) explaining what going on with my dash cam and looking at what evidence I had, determined that it was faulty... The store didn’t have another unit either so I opted for the Gator barrel model,I’m very happy with.

Crap service and phone support. Store and online team blaming each other for not having product which was listed on website. Very rude staff not willing to help or listen.

Cool. 15 days later no headunit or update so i email the AGAIN. No response at all so after a week I went into my local store (nambour qld). Bloke was absolutely lovely, apologized and called them up. I got a refund theough bank. He saod comeback in and i will get 30% off. Ok sweet i think! MICHAEL FROM SANDOWN
I walked in and out within ten minutes with everything I had needed to be done, done.
Michael from the Sandown store was very polite and well mannered. Did his job with a smile and did the extra 1%’s without being asked.
Fantastic customer service!!

Had a problem with online purchase and the local store went out of their way to fix it for me
I ordered shock absorbers online according to the recommended ones (they use your car rego to make sure the parts are for you SPECIFIC car).
The shocks arrived the next day!!!
Unfortunately after I put them on I noticed the car was 2 inches lower. I rechecked the web site and the ones i got where definitely 'the right ones' according to their database?
I went up to the local store (Hoppers Crossing Old Geelong Road) and they where really helpful.
They ordered in the right ones and gave them to me at the same price.
Very helpful - it was a nice experience. Well ..... except for having to take the shocks off twice.

Disposing oil
Was disappointed when I tried to dispose of oil which is advertised on internet site 142 stores have yellow bins . The guy at blackburn was quick to correct me stated there was only 1 place he knew of in Springvale. If your not going to provide a service don't offer it .

Ellenbrook branch - rewards card
I needed a car battery charger so popped along to the Ellenbrook branch; great selection of stock and made my pick. At the till I was offered the loyalty card at a cost of $5, I rolled my eyes but was advised would get $10 in credit and any price difference if the product went down in price. I plumped for it and one week later got a 1/4 plus some of my purchase price on the car battery charger back as it went on sale.

Fantastic help!
I visited the Port Adelaide store on Sunday (21/7/19) arvo to buy some oil and the 2 pretty young girls on duty were very friendly and helpful, especially seeing it was close to closing time. I have previously had a really bad experience with the Para Hills store a few years ago and haven't been to a Supercheap since but since moving, thought I would give the Port Adelaide store a try and haven't been disappointed in the dozen or so times I have been there.

Australian Ripp Off in Perfection - Turtle Wax Shine N Shine
I am always keen to keep my new Toyota Prius in top condition especially on the outside as it is an image one projects when arriving in your car. To protect my car I was advised to use Turtle Wax Spray N Shine a product with ceramic ingredients. This protects the lacquer and gives an excellent shine for many months after a single application. I saw the product performing in a YouTube editorial comparing the product with other similar products in the market. The US market street price and on Amazon is US$ 6.97 or in Australian Dollars converted ...Read more
it would be about $9.80. I contacted several Supercheap and other retailers an enquired about the product and price and was told that the price in Australia would be $25.99 this making it about 250% more expensive than in the USA. This is one of the rips offs Australian retailers are using when it comes to excellent products made overseas. Amazone Australia sells the item to a far better price at A$11.90 this is a fair deal. Often Australian retail companies complaining about the lack of sales, loss of income and that customers make more purchases online than in retail shops. The reason is clear, it is the typical Australian Ripp Off caused by the profit by the importer, followed by the wholesaler and last not least by the retailer. All of them profiting on the price of an item escalating the price and the consumer pays. Why should anyone pay twice as much and more as much as a customer in the USA? A large number of products are shipped cheaply in container ships or by air making the retail item less than 5% more expensive. The exchange rate is steady as well. Someone must make a heap of a profit and who that is is clear, the Australian sellers taking customers for a ride.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Customer service
Waited ten minutes for salesman to finish with customer. Ask the sales to help me. Took him to what I wanted. He then served another customer and ignored me. I will never go to supercheap again and will drive the extra ten minutes to actually get the service I deserve.

Ordered a club plus membership, never received it.
I had ordered a club plus membership on the 21st of June and have not heard anything back. Following that, on the 25th of June, I chased this up via the customer service form and I did not receive a reply. Additionally today (5th July), I called the customer service number, and it was noted there was no club plus membership for my account.

I have written seven Emails to supercheap with only one reply that said its due to circumstances beyond our control. Customer service will not answer my Emails, I have asked for a refund but still no answer. I am appalled by this terrible service and will never use supercheap again.

Club Plus Price Promise
When I was initially offered a SCA Club Plus Membership, I was told one of the best benefits of this benefit is the Club Plus Price Promise where SCA credit the difference for the price of a product you’ve purchased which goes on special within two weeks. And they told me this is for any SCA store or online.
I purchase something from their official SCA EBay store on Thursday and on Saturday they reduce the price by almost $50.00. I call them up and I'm told that I can't enjoy Club Plus Membership benefits if I purchase something from their off...Read more

Poor customer service - no backup of product
Bought Permatex Windshield Repair from Supercheap Auto Wodonga, and despite following instructions exactly, using the kit resulted in an extensive crack rendering the windscreen unroadworthy. Supercheap took no responsibility for their product, and instead fobbed me off to the manufacturer which also took no responsibility. I've lost faith in Supercheap Auto, and their commitment to standing behind their products.

Very bad since changes to website and club account
I have been a club member and frequent purchaser over the years doing the vast majority of my purchases online. I became a club member primarily for the transaction history, Not having to keep receipts as having them in my order history meant i could reprint them if required for warranty and returns purposes. I also would like to add the credit offered to your account if a recently purchased item is reduced in price and a credit applied to your account.
I noticed about mid 2018 not all my transactions were showing in my order history and som...Read more
e of these missing invoices were for big ticket items sort of defeating the purpose of SCA claiming for members there is no need to retain your invoice because they are stored in your order history in your club account. After another considerable purchase this week i noticed it also was not appearing in my order history so i emailed Supercheap Auto asking why the IT issues with my account since last year. I got this reply "Thank you for your email. We launched a new web platform last year and unfortunately not all members have access to their online order history.Similar opinion? It's OK, if you desperately need parts
I rarely go to supercheap nowadays. As they are not really cheap at all. I get most of my parts online . Engine oil filters and air filters are the normal yearly maintenance and will be wise to order in bulk to save on shippings. Plus give your car a favor, just get the oem from the dealer. I just went to Toyota and Kia dealer and found that there's not much price difference. And Kia $10.97 oil filter (sump plug washer included ) is cheaper than Rycos equivalent. Great thing is oem's are designed for your car. For special tools: online superc...Read more

How much deposit to order in parts
1 answer
Didn’t ask me for a deposit but save yourself aggravation and give online ordering from Supercheap a miss. Their customer support is rubbish and they are as slow as a wet week. Took them nine days to send me a coolant hose, after five days I asked when I might get it and all I got was we are waiting for the supplier. No initiative from Supercheap to ring the supplier and ask. I’m amazed they’re still in business
