Great small car
The Suzuli Turbo is our city commuter and gets used for some quick trips interstate. The motor is a gem - always punchy and very economical but needs 95 octane. Overtaking is easy - put your foot down and it flies. The 6 speed auto and paddles are good. Limited storage space but space enough to replace the spacesaver with a full size spare. No issues in 2 years.
Purchased in January 2021 at Suzuki in the City for A$28,990.00.

Packed with excitement!
I use this car everday for work and also for looking after the grandchildren. I like Suzukis in general just for the internal space they provide for strollers, luggage etc.
I absolutely love the turbo boost on this vehicle it really gets you up those hills and in and out of traffic. It has also pulled our trailer for camping without any worries.
There is a wide range of colours but I couldn't go past the turquoise pearl metallic.
This vehicle is serviced regularly with no unusual findings and continues to breeze along with its rear parking camera, usb connection and other perks.
Purchased in September 2021.

The car quality is very poor and Oakleigh customer service is worst
Wrongly decided to buy this car as the quality of material is very poor. Some of the parts broken as soon as i bought it. Went to the service center to get replaced and they were not happy and raised the issue with Suzuki Australia. Then the service center agreed to replace but after few weeks the same part broken again. I am fed up making complaint again.

Love it
A great car. Very zippy and easy to get around town in and comfortable for longer drives as well. I love the techninc rear parking camera and sensor and the entertainment system. Boot is a little small. Feels bigger inside than it looks. A stylish car, good for kids .

Beautiful to drive!
This is the car of my dreams! It is an absolute joy to drive and I actually enjoying driving when I am in this car! The leather interior is stunning and has all the bells and whistles you could dream of! Extremely reliable so far while being fuel efficient and cheap to service as per the Suzuki service plan!

A happy year
We bought the car 10 months ago and have congratulated ourselves constantly since.
We bought the turbo and she is light, economical and when you put your foot down, she lifts her skirts and goes!
Drivers height good. Access good. Servicing costs good. A few cute custom options available. We chose the inside trim accents. Plus the turbo comes with leather trim seats.
Plenty of room front and back. Seats are comfortable.
My single complaint is that the steering wheel obscures the indicator/light lever. But as everything is automatic, life is good.
Best car I've owned. Suits small family or people with pets.

Fault finding the engine over reving.
Have only had minor problems with a/c which refuses to be diagnosed despite plenty attempts to resolve. Leaks big time into passenger seats floor. Now experiencing over revving when accelerating after changing gears. The cruise control now is not working since this problem commenced, they be related, however, may not be

Suzuki Vitara 1.4L Turbo - Great
Purchased this 2017 car for the engine specs and fuel economy.
Pros -
Drives amazingly, extra power when you need
Stylish and the car is able to be customised
The media/navigation screen works really well and easily
Cons-
Plasticky and cheapish looking interior.
Apparently some other cars have more up to date safety features like automated emergency braking

How can so much be wrong with a 4 year old car!!!
This was to be the best of car purchases and last many years so we went for newer car, lowish kms and diesel for economy. Paid $4000 over or budget and within 12mths spent another $6,000 on repairs, engine, belts, surges not starting, engine noises, warning and Transmission lights. Still not driving properly. Mechanics don't know what to do. A cliff drop might be the answer!

Perfect car for me!
Highlights, great looking car with a fantastically smooth and powerful engine. In normal mode the turbo makes it feel like your driving a easy six cylinder, in sports mode it creates a fun driving warm hatch feel. Easy to drive, and economical - about 6.5lt ave so far. Seems well built hasn't missed a beat so far.
Lowlights, road noise at speed on course chip. Sometimes unsettled by mid corner bumps. Plastics on upper door and lower dash could be more premium. No android auto only Apple car play.
Don't forget to get the centre armrest option, couldn't live without it.

Suzuki Vitara Allgrip S Turbo 4WD
The 1.4 Litre direct injection turbo engine in this car delivers incredible power and punch for such a small unit. It is something you need to experience so a test drive is highly recommended. I have used the vehicle on unsealed and slippery roads and have been very impressed with its handling using the different 4WD modes. I am averaging about 6.5 litres per 100 km which is a bit thirstier than the 2WD variant but still great considering the extra weight. The car is well appointed with built in GPS, Apple Carplay, front and rear sensors, hil...Read more
l decent and rain sensing wipers. Easy to park with the sensors and incredibly quick off the mark. I have done just over 20,000 kms and it has proved to be a very economical and reliable car for both city and country driving. The only issue I have encountered is getting map updates for the GPS and touch up paint for a couple of scratches in the right colour. My local dealer (National Capital Motors in Canberra) has not been able to assist with these issues but otherwise the service has been excellent.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Grand Touring on a budget
In December, 2016 my wife purchased a new front wheel drive Vitara Turbo. Three months later, I traded in my much-loved Suzuki Swift Sport on the same model (but in a different colour). The 45% low profile tyres on the Sport are not really compatible with our potholed country roads. For just over $30,000 I got a comfortable compact station wagon boasting 5.9 litres per 100km (47.8 mpg) fuel consumption, yet with acceleration over 400 metres superior to the old GTR XU-1 Torana, the 3 litre V6 S-Type Jaguar and even the automatic 3.8 litre E-Type...Read more
Jaguar. The Vitara (1.4 litre turbo, 6-speed auto) retains the essential non-electric handbrake operating on the rear wheels -- but loses the CD player (!). Its braking is superior to almost anything else on the road, including the performance benchmarks VW Golf GTI and Porsche 2.5 Boxster, thanks to its oversize 215/55 17" tyres and its mere 1160kg mass. The only question mark involved its untested Hungarian factory origins. Given my previous experience with Suzuki's engineering excellence, I was more than willing to take that risk. Not many economy cars would be better suited to long distance driving in Australia. The car is used for shopping trips every few days, as well as the occasional country drive. Regular servicing has been carried out (by the dealer) with no warranty repairs required during the past 17,000 km. Note to Suzuki: please provide a full-size spare wheel and install the CD player still available in some overseas versions of the car.Purchased in March 2021.

Suzuki Vitara S Turbo All Grip 2016/2017
On 22 Dec 2016 I picked up my new car from Booran Suzuki Dandenong VIC.
Until this day I am very happy with the car with its modern extras they put into it.
Some to mention, reverse camera & sensors for parking and backing up, inbuilt GPS, Bluetooth, AC climate control & Poland eliminator, electric windows, Electric mirrors & electric foldable mirrors, Apple CarPlay, and lots more..
Fuel economy is excellent and lots of power only on a 1.4 litre engine with Turbo.
What else can I say? I'm just very happy with it! I can't fault it.
I recom ...Read more

A real surprise packet but dashboard GPS updates are a real problem
We were in the market for a small economical vehicle with a 4WD capability but not a major off-road machine. We did the rounds of the car yards and tested several models. Initially we tested the normally aspirated front wheel drive 1.6 litre Vitara. We were surprised at its performance but after some research we were aware a turbo version was due in Quarter 2 of 2016. We tested the first turbo that arrived at our local dealer National Capital Motors and were so impressed with the performance that we placed an order the same day. This is a v...Read more
ery competitive part of the new car market but you would be remiss in not giving the Suzuki Vitara S Turbo a test drive before making your decision. I recommend the 4WD ALLGRIP version which is more expensive but delivers handling refinements even on the bitumen. Both models come with a lot of kit including sensors, GPS. reversing camera, voice control and Apple carplay. However, updating the maps on built in entertainment system has becoming an annoying issue. The system does not use the Garmin maps system that Suzuki dealers try and direct you to use and the USB connection has proven too unreliable to effectively use Apple Carplay. I have had the car serviced by dealers in two different states and I am still getting the run-around. This suggests that both Suzuki Australia and Suzuki Queensland are failing to support their dealer network with a solution to the problem.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!
