Disappointed

published

Purchased in May 2021 for $169.00.

Terrible quality for the price.

Terrible quality for the price. Cant even do bolts up to tighten it, the whole swing set is wobbly before kids even play on it. The top bar bows without kids on it. Very unsafe. Not recommended for your kids

Purchased in February 2021 for $170.00.

DEFECTIVE and DANGEROUS welding and grinding - unsafe for use.

published

Product:- Vuly Swing set ( Large )

By any standard, the welding and grinding is very very poor in quality.

I lacerated, quite badly, my index finger as I was attempting, unsuccessfully to assemble this equipment.

Had this not been found it could have caused severe cuts/lacerations to a child!!

I have not complained about this to Vuly - as my satisfaction with Customer Service would rate somewhere between zero and zip!!

Very poor quality, couldn't even finish assembly due to poorly made parts

published

At first when unboxing the swing it seemed reasonably good quality, but then it all went down hill once it came to assembly. Firstly the instructions have no words and the pictures are tiny leaving you mostly guessing what to do. Most of the fixings bottom out on each other before they actually tighten what they're supposed to, leaving most connections wobbly. Build quality control is extremely poor as on the swing set I purchased one of the two brackets that fix the legs to the top bar was pressed completely out of shape and couldn't even be attached. Very unhappy especially for the price, I will be returning.

Good playset, if we can figure out how to put it together

published

This seems like a great playset, affordable and good timber etc. But thw instructions are ridiculously hard to interpret. I.e. only one page for about 10 steps and no written instructions. One of the bolts clean broke off. We are currently watching a youtube video to assist us but even then, some of the bolts/screws don't match what our instructions (are trying) to say. I hope you are handier than us!!!

Bolts don't fit

published

Got one of the toddler play set for Christmas. When we were trying to put it together the nuts and bolts didn't fit into one of the poles. Then we find out we needed to drill a hole so we could attach the steps to the frame. The whole frame is wobbly even when we tightened the things right up.
I wouldn't recommend this product to anyone.

Poor quality soft bolts, loose pieces

published

This is a terrible quality swing set. The 'hardened' bolts will strip when you try to tighten them, the hex key damages the metal so quickly I cannot even remove them now to return them to Bunnings. The bolts for the top bar only have 2- or 3- revolution 'grab' meaning even a slight loosening would allow them to fall off, and their vertical orientation means if they do loosen they would fall out, potentially allowing the swing top bar to collapse. A terrible, horrible design, complemented by cheap, poor quality materials. It will be going back as soon as I can cut the bolts off with an angle grinder to fit the thing in my car.

So easy to put together

published

This swing set is great. It took myself and my husband about 2 hours to put together. The box estimated 2 people 1.5 hours. Every piece was easily identified and instructions easy to follow. made from good quality weather and sun proof material and included safety pieces to dig into ground for security and stability. This product was bought from Bunnings for a very reasonable price. Very happy and my kids love it.

I cant work out how the slippery dip joins on, i got no instructions

It just screws on with two screws into the wood. By memory, there are no pre-drilled holes. So just screw it down so it's flush with the fort frame. Don't worry about not having instructions they are completely useless anyway.
