bought one of these cameras to attach to my cat to find out where he goes at night.
I bought one of these cameras, so i can attach it to my cat, to find out where he goes at night. I had a friend who made a lightweight attachment device so it fits neatly to my cats collar, without causing any issues. And it worked! We watched video of my cat travelling several km in one night- naughty boy!) Meeting up wtih other cats, and then strolling home shortly before dawn. As far as the camera is concerned, the picture quality is excellent and the microphone works too, (pity i don't understand cat!) For just under a $100.00 i would seriously recommend this camera to anyone who wants a reasonable bottom end priced action camera.

Does what it says on the box - fabulous
I looked around for a good alternative action camera as the name brands were simply too much money, too unreliable and far too much money!
Then I came across the Target action camera WDV6000. It claimed to be 1080. Came with a heap of accessories. And cost $99. I figured if it turned out to be no good, I would simply return it.
I took it on my ride. Used the handle bar mount to fix it to the bike. I recorded for just over an hour. (When I get a moment I will put it on you tube and add the link, perhaps an abridged version!) The result wa...Read more
s pretty impressive. I think it best to attach these cameras to your head to remove a bit more of the 'bounce' which you can't really stop entirely. The camera has good stabilisation and the result was easily watchable. The quality was 1080 and played very well on my 55 inch TV. Areas of the image pixelate when the camera shifts quickly. The waterproof case seems to make the camera only have ears for the ground. But, I didn't even realise these cameras came with a microphone! I will try with the standard mount next time to see the difference. Anyway, first impressions, this camera is worth every cent I payed for it. Looking forward to tryi9ng more videos at the weekend. If you want an action camera and don't need the 'name' to go with it, save yourself $500 and get the WDV6000 from Target - with free postage too when you buy online. I bought a 32gb micro SD card on ebay for $12.95.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!
