Painted in November and was covered in mildew during wet weather in January, even under cover from the rain.Would not recommend this paint for tropical areas. The base had two coats of undercoat and two coats of Endure finish.

Purchased in November 2021.

drip drip drip

published

Taubmans Endure is watery, drippy and needed two to three coats, Taubmans easy coat is much better does not drip all over the F#%%$#@ place and covers with only one coat, plus is 10-20 dollars cheaper. The salesman at Bunnings in Cairns saw me coming hook, line and sinker, said something about a molecular nano technology. bottom line buy the most expensive, apply thin watery coverage, = more coats = more dollars, ya ok I get it now.

Great paint

published

Used the Taubmans Endure and was really happy with the results. Nice even texture on drying, no paint spatter when using. It has been very easy paint to work with and I have had no problems. Our rooms so far look amazing.
The only downside was the darker colour we used in our bedroom was unavailable (they could not mix it) in the Endure so for that room we went to the next level Taubmans (blue and white tin) which was equally as good.

Really thick with great coverage and hiding power

published

Used the semi gloss exterior to paint a treated pine retaining wall, very viscous consistency makes it a bit more difficult to apply, but no drips or runs and the coverage on a rough surface is great - 2 coats looks really even and professional. Six months on and no sign of wear at all.

A great paint to use

published

I have used taubmams endrance on my latest project and I find this paint has got great pigmentation and is a very easy paint to use where I find with other paints the pigmentation is not a good coverage rate and you have to put more coats on? Where as this endurance is a force to reckon with and very easy to use.

very disappointing

published

I've always found Taubmans paints excellent until I used Endure semi-gloss for our bathroom and had the same experience as other reviewers: it is severely lacking in pigment. I did 3 coats on the window frame and it still looks streaky and washy. It's a bit better on the walls & ceiling where I used a roller but still not up to scratch. I don't think more coats will make any difference either. They definitely need to improve this line or drop it entirely.

Never again, never

published

Just finish painting one of my office wall with semi gloss "white" endure total protection paint.
My dam wall is smoke yellow not white as the other walls.
This is rubbish has nothing to do with white.
And it takes 3 liter to cover one dam wall.

Never again Taubman in my house. Wasted my money and time. Arrrr

2 thumbs down...

Using the interior one for trimwork. Skins too quickly, so you drag the paint off if you need to go back and correct. You basically have a 2 minute work time with this paint. Also noticed when I remove masking tape that the the bond is so strong across the masking tape/trim edge, that it pulls patches off the trimwork as well. Going to bin this lot and try another brand. Whatever the bond technology is they're using does not suit trimwork or where ever you need to mask...
Applies easily
Skins too quickly, bond is too strong over masked areas that it pulls paint off trim when removing masking tape...

Endure is terrible

published

Worst paint I've ever used. Gluggy, doesn't spread, no shine in gloss finish. Where do you stop. How about before you get to your windows. Ever one refuses to harden properly. We're now 3 months after painting and it is only starting to harden now. Back to dulux we've gone. Suggest you stay away.

I would like to contact you as I have similar problems. I would like to address the problems with Taubmans and have a little back up.

Agree that Dulux make a better wall paint. My experience with Taubmans Endure is the same as yours. VERY disappointing coverage and finish. Threw the can out.
