Budget Tv With An Great Picture
Spent a few months shopping around comparing between Hisense, Sony, lg and TCL. Luckily, I come up with the TCL C249US that meets every single of my needs.
I am so happy to have it, picture quality is great, sound is above average (still may need a soundbar but it does a good job).
I love the Bluetooth connection function that is super convenient
Android TV is quick and works fluidly.
Purchased in February 2021 for $480.00.

Not bad for an el cheapo
This is no Sony or Samsung but it gets the job done with a few caveats. First audio quality - not the best you should think about getting a soundbar if you pick one of these up, next channel changing speed - not as quick as you may like so know this. Apart from that the actual picture is pretty darn good. Nice colours and good dark separations. Like I said, no Sony but its cheap and not bad at all

Wonderful TV
We absolutely love this TV, We have had it around a year now and it's so handy, swaps from app to app seamlessly. The picture is clear, the volume is high enough that I don't need a extra speaker attached.
We have no complaints at all with this TV or the company. Both are great and I do recommend both this TV and the company.
We got it from good guys who are always great to deal with.

Good Bargain for $632 on ebay
Bought on ebay for $632, free shipping and free gift (Wall mount, HDMI cable, Screen cleaning kit).
Great Sound -Harman Kardon. Great picture quality. HDR Pro + really works. Very enjoyable viewing experience. Addition of Android brings in lots of flexibility like using Mobile as remote, connecting to Google Home etc

great tv,
very clear picture & sound quality, I was hesitant to buy but was a good price & was surprised by the picture & sound quality, I'd probably recommend the brand to friends & family looking to buy a new tv, and it's great for games too but on mine the smart tv function needs to be a bit better or upgraded

Good TV
Well, this one has a bit of a story. We initially purchased a 50" TCL television at a very cheap price of around $399. Unfortunately it only lasted just one month short of its 3 year warranty. We thought we would have issues getting it fixed or relaced. However TCL replaced the unit with a better model that has been working great. It also has Netflix etc., We have given them 4 stars because of the excellent service we received.

9.3/10 for this Smart TCL TV
Featuring Android built in, the TCL 49C2US is one of the best TV's I've owned. Beautiful picture, reasonable sound (hence the 0.5 difference from 10) and the functionality are second to none. This TV was purchased through Appliances Online at a smidgeon under $1000. Even better is the fact you can use your phone to link with the TV and use Google Assistant to find apps, games, etc and control the TV with your Android phone. And the fact it has its own built in Chromecast is even better. I also like how thin the TV is. Unreal how they fit so muc...Read more
h into such a large thin screen. And there are plenty of ports from HDMI to USB and so on. The Android store has a few dozen apps, nothing more and some apps like racing games can only be played with the TV Remote making it near impossible to steer a racing car. My only other beef with this TCL TV is it's average sound in the built in soundbar, even adjusting to various sound settings still sounds tinny. My only other issue is it's boot up time. Unlike other TV's where power up timing is usually a few seconds, this TV seems to take around 20-30 seconds to boot up, showing a Android screen doing various actions and loops before the TV stations begin. There must be a way to make this faster as its really annoying sometimes. (This is the other 0.2 points loss). Otherwise, it's a great quality high picture TV for the budget conscious.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Good value for money
Purchased this product from The Good Guys a week ago. So far it met my expectations. Picture is crisp and vibrant, built in speaker is good enough for a small room unless someone wants to make neighbours hear what is being played on the tv! I bought it for $795 which is really good value for this TV, WiFi works well, built in chrome cast is amazing. Although its too early to tell but until now it deserves a 5 star.

Amazing
Netflix, perfect picture quality, what more could you ask for. The television runs super fast and the quality of the picture is some what 3D at times. Mounted on the wall, this television would be considered as light as a feather, where the remote is easy for everyone to understand

Awesome investment
Wanted something that had absolutely everything, took a visit down to Harvey Norman and that is exactly what I found, not only can I access the internet right from the tip on my fingers through my tv but I now have he option of Netflix which has my child’s favourite tv shows to keep her entertained while I do the cleaning up around the house!

It’s great worth more than it cost.
We got the smart TV, all operating system are user friendly. Picture quality is great, colour contrast great, speaker is not the one I appreciate, I would prefer lower volume than this but obviously all the rest of family enjoying it. Ports that beyond me but surely it’s more than enough for my gadgets collector families otherwise there we’ll be complaints.
Overall happy to endorse TCL to all families, friends and acquaintances.

Excellent bang for buck
Generally a very good TV for the money. The only issue I have is the very poor viewing angles when watching in a darkened room but under norminal viewing conditions it isn't noticeable. The expanded colour gamut is noticeable and appreciated with everything looking so much brighter with that extra 'pop' without looking overdone or unnatural.
HDR was never going to be much more than a gimmicky selling point as no edge-lit tv that tops out at 400 nits can do it justice to HDR content and in any case excepting for Netflix there doesn't seem to b...Read more

Press the Home key on the remote. Scroll down to the bottom to Settings (cog icon). New menu opens on the right. Cant recall exactly where you go from there PVR or something. You then have the option to format or mount the USB.
