My TV shuts down automatically when it was in source selection page for sometime. (something like auto-shut down of computer screen when it is idle for some time). after that TV does not turns on; actually it gives sounds but no pictures. please advise to fix this problem.

Hi Fiona ... I really can't assist with that one Fiona, because I've never tried it myself, BUT, if you leave your TV on stand-by (which is "power - off" and the screen goes black), but do not press the remote that one step further by pressing again, which makes the "red stand-by light turn off", I would assume you get the same option as "sleep".
Be careful when playing around with these TCL televisions, because if you have read my last product review, I accidentally switched on the " restricted viewing mode", which caused me a whole world of trouble... The options are very sensitive and we tend to want to press remote buttons before the signals are actually actioned in the TV.
I can say this though - TCL eventually rectified my issues via the local servicing agent near where I live, but it took about 3 weeks from go to whoa!.... hope this helps! ROB.

My tv is stuck in standby, remote will not work and have tried to power from button on back of tv. Cant do a factory reset as remote doesnt respond and cant find any reset button where all the hdmi etc inputs are to do a hard reset. I have plugged and unplugged and the standby light goes off and comes back on but nothing else.

if under warranty don't just hassle TCL but keep chasing up the retailer you purchased it from. TCL are rubbish this is how it starts it will be non stop problems.

I couldn't get the TCL to work properly and fully for the 3 months we had it so eventually after continued complaining JB hifi swapped it for a Sony thats been perfect. TCL were not willing to do anything worst customer service I have ever experienced I will never buy another of their products EVER.
The sleep timer is in settings => screensaver

The TEN Play flag randomly appears or stays after passing through a 10 channel regardless of channel being watched. Color buttons for channel catch up services stop working once flag set. Only way to fix is turn off and restart TV. Is there a fix????

Press the Home key on the remote. Scroll down to the bottom to Settings (cog icon). New menu opens on the right. Cant recall exactly where you go from there PVR or something. You then have the option to format or mount the USB.
