Unpredictable
I bought this machine in July and am having constant troubleshooting issues lately. The recipes are very much hit and miss but I got used to making pasta and risottos well after a while . I don’t like how bulky the machine is and it’s not attractive looking being such a big appliance. I’m waiting for warranty to get back to me as last few times it has stopped working in the middle of cooking food. I think the browner & timer & keep warm features are the best as for the recipes it’s a trial and error.

The red is beautiful
The cook for me plus red is so good looking, just looking at it makes you feel hungry... A great thing to show off in your kitchen as it stands out. Bought it for my mother however she doesn't seem to use it that often, I guess it just isn't as quick and easy and she would have liked... Or maybe she's just not into the recipes they have. Wouldn't know the difference between a meal cooked in the Tefal compared to a typical home cooked meal taking hours.

Tasty inbuilt recipes but frustrating to troubleshoot
I’ve been testing the Tefal Cook4Me+ multicooker for the past month under the Ambassador programme.
THINGS I LIKED ABOUT THIS APPLIANCE
*It rarely burns food. I’ve used the browning setting extensively – it’s fantastic for browning onions, mushrooms and tomatoes without blackening them.
*It makes the most of cheaper cuts of meat when used on the manual pressure cook setting – they come out tender and tasty. Fresh corn and frozen veggies also retain their flavour on manual pressure cooked.
*It’s ideal for making quick and easy meals like om...Read more
elettes when you’re in a rush. I’ve found the best results are achieved by setting it to manual browning for 2 minutes. While the egg mixture is cooking, let the lid rest down to trap most of the steam in (but don’t bolt the lid). *While it's not a slow cooker, if you cook the ingredients on manual pressure cooker for about 10 minutes, then select "keep warm" mode until you're ready to serve, the end result in terms of taste and texture is very similar to slow cooking (works well for homemade pea and ham soup) This is the first time I’ve used an appliance with inbuilt recipes. I’ve been impressed by the flavour of the inbuilt recipes. Most main course recipes use easy to obtain ingredients. I haven’t tried any of the inbuilt dessert recipes yet but I plan to.

Awesome pressure cooker, great rice, and recipe-guidance built right in.
Pressure cooking significantly speeds up food cooking, particularly large quantities. I upgraded from another electric pressure cooker (Midea) to this spaceship looking device which has guided built-in recipes and a colour screen.
The step-by-step recipes all turned out great, such as it guides you to "brown" the food when applicable in the machine to improve the flavour before adding the rest of the ingredients. You can choose to cook smaller or larger quantities. The cooking consistency of larger items was great and it was generally easy to...Read more

Welcome to the world of join the dots cooking!
Imagine a cooking device that lets you pressure cook in the usual way. Now imagine that it comes with a book with 150 or so recipes with ingredients for up to 6 people, but no instructions! Then imagine it also has a free smartphone app which has shopping lists and suggestions for meals like tonight's dinner. Just as a bonus, imagine that the machine itself TELLS YOU how to cook that dinner! Got all that? You have just imagined what the Cook4Me can do!
Cook4Me is a "smart" pressure cooker, so it can do all the things that a pressure cooker does...Read more

Versatile little wonder, especially good for those with limited space or to balance out with traditional cooking
The Cook4me is an electric multi-cooker that not only can roast, cook and steam, it can also be used to cook products such as meat or vegetables under pressure in rapid time. As per the description, it can also cook everything from starters and mains to desserts. In the classic cooking mode, you are able to do gentle cooking, simmering and browning. You can also reheat and keep meals warm.
The handling is quite easy once you get the hang of it. It contains about 150 pre-set recipes that you will get guided through step by step. Every single st...Read more
ep is shown on the display. After using it for a limited time, I can say that I love the versatility, even though the guided cooking is new for me as a self-described hobby chef - as this is quite a contrast to my traditional cooking, which is usually using multiple pots and pans, or a wok and other kitchen utensils. More importantly, I am not even used to using recipes much at all (ha!) and I don't usually shop for ingredients based on recipes, either (since this forces you into buying when things are usually not the cheapest, or it can be challenging to find what you need after choosing a particular recipe). What I normally do instead is buy in bulk the produce in season or what is on special and look for recipes where they can be used, or I simply know what to cook with them. So to combine both cooking concepts, I will need to stay flexible with the recipes. Cooking with this multi-cooker therefore is a completely different set up, which I ended up liking as an alternative to cooking in a more lazy way. The dishes that are coming out of this device are not only a dream in terms of taste, the time savings during the actual cooking is a huge advantage. Simply a great device that will have a permanent place in our kitchen from now on, at least for those days where we don't feel like cooking the traditional way. The Cook4Me+ is well-made and the cooking bowl is wonderfully easy to clean thanks to its Teflon coating. The handling is very simple and almost self-explanatory - but a look in the user manual shows again the full range of what the product can do. The steaming of vegetables is also good for preserving the nutrient content of the food. They came out perfect, not overcooked and not too crunchy!Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Perfect so far
Only had this machine a couple of days but what I've cooked in it has been perfect.. even when I've made changes to programmed recipes (but maintaining dry to liquid ratios). Made a stunning Beef Casserole (never thought I'd call a casserole 'stunning'.. but it was. ) Very impressed by the speed with which it gets up to full pressure (a few minutes) compared to 15 mins on my old cooker.
Very happy with this purchase. Will update if things change over time.
May 6th. Update... Happy to report that everything I've made in this machine has turned out perfectly including both programmed recipes and adaptions of my own recipes.
Still very happy with this purchase.
