basic ironing use only - its all about the creases for me

published

Bought this half price! Needed an iron to press my uniforms, with creases where i want them. It glides beautifully, however doesn't get hot enough to iron out creases (railroad). The auto heat setting function is more suitable for those that need to iron everyday pants / shirts. However it would not iron the creases out of a new shirt (straight out of the package). A model that allows you to control temperature would work better on uniforms and the like (my previous one did).

Purchased in January 2021 at David Jones Retail Stores for $249.00.

Disappointed in performance

Bought this as a replacement for my Tefal Pressing which after 13 years, died. Very disappointed. Steam is not consistent. Does not get the creases out very well. Just not as good as my previous iron

Very good iron steam station

published

Love this iron so reasonably priced for what it does and so easy to use love that it stands on it’s heal husband also also likes using it. This is the third steam station I have owned by far the best and cheapest and when left it turns itself off which makes it safe.

Hate it

What a time easter. If you leave it to put clothes away it turns off.
Have to wait 14 mins for this useless iron to turn back on.
Recommend you don't buy or get conned into buying this.
Absolutely not worth the money. Wish I could return this. Not right junk is for sale at a very high price.

Will not turn on

published

I unpacked this appliance today, where the cord is plugged in underneath the machine. It is not a very secure fit and it will not turn on. Unfortunately I bought this from an infomercial, so I will have to pay postage. Tried to ring Tefal customer care, no one there sat afternoon. I am very disappointed.

We bought a GV6840 earlier this week but after an initial burst it quickly loses steam making continuous ironing very difficult
Is there something we need to do to get it to work properly
