First things first, I’m not the kind of person who likes to iron due to the fact that it’s a big burden to me, but this iron has changed my views immensely.

My Tefal Turbo Pro FV5648 was supplied through the Product Review Ambassador Program for me to use & to review. Overall my ironing is easier & faster to do - more comfortable to use - less time to remove stubborn creases with Turbo Boost. I am impressed & my very old iron has been quickly retired!

Anything that makes the tedious job of ironing easier has got to be a bonus, the Tefal does just that.
After years of using a Phillips Azur I now have a Tefal Turbopro iron, I wasn't expecting a lot of difference, they are ' just Irons ' anyway. I couldn't have been more mistaken.

This turbo pro iron has forever changed my views on irons. I never took much notice and only thought an iron is pretty much used to de-crease clothes period so I have always opt for the much cheaper ones. Until I began using this iron, it has never been the same. Not only that it obviously looks cool but it has also CUT my ironing time and energy spent in half. Amazing design Tefal.

In the last 12 years I used cheap ish Breville iron that "ticked" all boxes I wanted in an iron I tend to use almost daily. After 12 years the teflon coating started peeling and calc start spitting out of steam holes at times ruining white shirts. I thought - time for a new iron. Fairly intuitive to use, the nicely balanced weight just right, control easy to use to the extent I felt like I had owned the iron before. I still wear long sleeve cotton shirts for business, so I use the iron daily also the kids prefer their non-iron school shirts looking neatly pressed with a steam iron!. These are two irons in for the price of one. Regular iron that heats up & the steamer for wrinkled clothes that has been hanging int he clost for months. The iron kicks up enomous amount of heat with 2400 Watt heat element inside. Recommend ironing non peak hours if you have a lot of ironing to do or if you are watching that electric metre dial spinning like your old record player. It's easy to operate. Very stylish look - does what a steam iron is supposed to do. Comes up to selected temperature rapidly (and accurately) and does pump out volumes of steam - so I can understand the need for an Anti-Calc catcher to take out any residual Calcium build up (from hard water) from within the steam chamber. The Sole Plate has a very good surface, so should be very reliable and long lasting - but never put a scouring pad anywhere near it, no matter what happens to it. When I first saw the picture of the Tefal iron on the box I was intrigued. From a design perspective, it's black and blue separating it from the competition. It's larger than your average iron covering more surface space reducing ironing time, and it has a turbo-boost steamer that forcibly removes stubborn wrinkles. Come to think of it, this is a man's iron.

I wouldn’t have thought that the technology of heat and steam to flatten material could have been improved so vastly but I think Tefal has done it with this steam iron.

No longer is the humble iron boring white – this one looks pretty modern in black and blue.

I'm a terrible ironer, and this iron makes me a pro. I first used it on my curtains and was so impressed I searched the house for other items to iron! I also missed a spot on the curtain and used the vertical steaming feature and it worked a dream.

It heats up really fast, it's got great safety features that actually work (30 sec when face down, 8 mins when upright) and when you're using it, it FEELS like it's working.
