Recoated my Saute Pan and Square Roaster
I too found that the teflon coating was inferior, and wore out and scratched after 12 months. I found a business who would recoat my pans with a more heavy duty teflon coating, but bear in mind teflon does have limitations of 320 deg C

Dissapointment
I was introduced to chefs toolbox and very impressed having had 2 party's of my own and been to 2 friends party's and we was very excited to attend the next party. The recipe's were fantastic and the demonstrator was just great. Your company has been disappointing in not being able to fill orders and no warning that some products were short in supply to our demonstrator she wasn't aware until she placed our order. It was the company that let us down. The host then had to order product to fill the order not knowing if it would be fulfilled. Spoilt a great cooking experience.

Poor quality
Don't purchase these poor quality products. When I tried to qet help from the company I was told it was my fault. How is it then that everybody that purchased the fry pan has since had to throw it in the bin?

Never recommend terrible !!!
I agree I bought this pan too.... It sticks the coating is not correct. I complained because the only way I could describe the scratches was too cooking chops and T bones in it. Even when I cooked chicken it burnt and stuck to the bottom. I only ever used medium heat, no cooking sprays and always washed in hot soapy water after use, only ever wiped it out with soft cloth chux. Only to be told sorry you have not followed the instructions. I only ever used gas and other people I know have electric. Even that aspect was covered by the con...Read more
sultant and the company by saying she only has gas. I was prepared to sign a declaration signed by a Justice of the Peace cause I am not a liar like the company is implying. Do your research dont use this company

Worst customer service ever!
Family members placed an order with one of their "consultants" at a party. 4 weeks later had not heard from them so rang the consultant direct, was told she was waiting for more orders to come in from the party but that she would deliver the items that had been ordered initially. Not sure why it was necessary for the people who had already ordered and paid for their items to wait for other people to decide if they wanted to order something.....
The consultant then only delivered half the order as the other item was on back order with the hea...Read more
d office, apparently.... Was told the remaining item would be delivered a week later, waited the week, consultant never turned up and never bothered to make contact. Rang the head office, they advised they couldn't even see the order in their system (!!!) so they said they would talk to the consultant and amazingly the "back ordered" item was delivered the next day. Problem is the item is faulty as there is something loose and rattling inside the handle... Very poor quality control as you could here it rattling from within the box! Rang the consultant to arrange a return and a refund and was told this would occur last weekend and as has been typical of dealing with this person and this company, she never turned up and never made contact.... She finally made contact this morning and advised that a party she was going to be appearing at was cancelled so therefore she went to visit her Mum instead of picking up the faulty item and refunding the money... Now apparently she will be arranging the refund in the next couple of days.... Time will tell.... So today another phone call was made to the company to complain about the experience and was told that they cannot help because it was a cash transaction it has to be dealt with through their consultant! Even though their consultant is supposed to be representing the company and is giving them a bad name by her actions and attitude.... Asked to speak to a manager and was told because it was close to 5 o'clock they couldn't speak to a manager and they re-iterated that there is nothing that head office can do any way...... So if you hear the name The Chefs Toolbox mentioned run the other way as fast as you possibly can!!!!!Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Not non stick for long!
I can't rave enough about their silicone spatula set. LOVE IT! BUT..... I purchased the 30cm fry pan about 2 yrs ago. The first time we used it, my husband swirled a chop around the pan, sure enough, it took out gauges. It was a chop! If you can't move a chop around a pan without scratching it, it's rubbish. It's so bad now that I can't even cook an egg on it, it sticks so bad that I don't even bother. I've never even used anything metal on the pan and it looks like I've rubbed it with a handful of rocks! So of course, I've had to spend another $130 to buy another brand pan to replace the one that was 'suppose' to last me at least 15 yrs. What a joke! Don't waste your money!

Break very easily
The blade in these knives snap very easily. I have had four knives where the blade has literally snapped in half and family and friends have all had at least one knife snap in half as well. Chefs toolbox do not always replace them either, they are very particular about the circumstances which is not right. I was cutting the skin off pumpkin with one and they refused to replace it. A knife blade of such expense and quality should not break. I only got one out of my four knives replaced. The others I just had to throw in the bin. Will never buy them again!
Bad quality and bad service

Great Quality and Fantastic Time Saver
I received my pressure cooker and have already cooked some very delicious meals and the cooker was very easy to use. Love my knife, and the silicon I like that it folds away and doesn't take up too much space in my cupboards. I would recommend their products and encourage people to see and feel the products as they are very good quality. Once you invest in good quality cookware there is no going back.

Poor Quality - Very Disappointed and Disheartened at Brand
Purchased myself a set of expensive Chef's Toolbox knives thinking they would 'last a lifetime' and be a quality, useful set in the kitchen. Smack bang on 12 months from the purchase date all the wider knives within the set have hairline cracks in the blade, right near the Chefs Toolbox logo. So VERY disappointed. Contacted the Chef's Toolbox rep I purchased them from via email so I could explain what was appearing on the knives, and even direct via the Chefs Toolbox website - I never heard back from either the rep or the company direct. Am ala...Read more
rmed to hear that the knives have 'snapped' on people (via other reviews on this website) and am now wary of using the knives, particularly if my children happen to be in the kitchen. Disappointed, as I bought the whole set, the block and the sharpener and they were very nice to use until I discovered they are cracked and the after-purchase customer service wasn't there. Nice to use Did NOT last - Expensive and I'm left disappointed.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Quality of kitchen knife set is poor
I purchased the kitchen knife set and both the fusion knife as well as the big chef's knife have snapped at the base of the blade without much pressure at all. I was using the chefs knife to cut a pumpkin and the fusion knife snapped when I was trying to cut into a cooked roast lamb. This is the first time I've snapped any kitchen knives. I would expect better quality from a kitchen knife set that I paid about $500 for.
they look nice
terrible quality for the price paid...just under $500 for the set

Terrible quality for price
Tongs are silicone and are way too soft to pick food up with. Handles of steak knives cracked after only a couple of uses. Non-stick frypan are no better than Kmart quality coating. Kitchen knives steel must be very poor as a drop from waist height snapped the blade off. Overall a huge waste of a lot of money for a product that is of very average to poor quality.
Expensive, poor quality.

Receive faulty item - terrible customer service!
What can i say... i purchase a Chefs Toolbox grater (approx $40 - yep, expensive for a hand held grater hey). When i recieved it, it was faulty, the base would not stay on. I contacted their claims area and advised them (via email) i would like a refund rather than a replacement (which i am entitled to under Aust law). I was contacted 2 weeks later offering me a replacement. I replied and said again that i would like a refund please. No response from them.
2 weeks pass. I email them again asking for a response to my claim, and stating...Read more
i was annoyed with the lack of contact. Got a response stating they would refund me (but that it was not 'their' normal policy to do so (aside from it being my right!) and that the refund would take 5 days. OK, no worries... But, several weeks later i was still following them up, until they finally did the refund. Even then i only realised it had been refunded when i checked my account and saw it. I had no response whatsoever from my last emails to them. I am enormously disappointed in the manner in which my return was dealt with. The initial claim took almost a month, and then the refund was promised weeks before they actually processed it. It is a small amount of money and i am shocked that the refund took so long. I had previously been saving up to purchase the large square pan... do you think i'm going to buy from them ever agin... yeah... doubt it. Do I think the items are good? Yep, I do for sure. But - Do i think their after sale service is ok? Absolutely not!!! After sale service appalling. No responses to emails, refund took 10 weeks on brand new faulty item.Similar opinion? Excellent product.
I have been using Chef's Toolbox products for a number of years and found them to be excellent. Recently one of their saucepans developed pitting on the bottom after about 5 years use. The product was replaced within a week free of charge. They didn't even want the old saucepan back!! Excellent product and excellent after sales service.
Reliable and with excellent after sales service.

If anyone didn't receive Chefs Toolbox products that they paid for, please go to your bank and advise them that you paid Chefs Toolbox for goods and didn't receive them because they went into liquidation (they will look it up on ABN search) i.e. you didn't receive the goods in exchange for the money you paid so you should get a refund.
