Since first buying from The Electric Discounter in 2017, it is the first place we look when buying new appliances. We're fortunate to be near the Darra Warehouse & they have awesome Warehouse Specials. They might be a small business but they have many items a LOT cheaper than bigger stores who have to hike up prices to cover their advertising costs. The staff are friendly & helpful, and they price-matched an item for us with no qualms whatsoever. I've now recommended them to friends and have a friend stopping in there today to buy a washing machine. Thumbs up guys - keep doing what you're doing! Word of mouth and positive experiences are worth more than in-your-face annoying commercial advertising!

I was nervous using the Electric Discounter because they were so much cheaper than the big discount store near me, and it seemed too good to be true (about $60 total save). I asked the big discount store to price match, but they couldn't. So I went ahead. My dishwasher was delivered a couple of days later, and installed carefully, and they took away the old one for me. Bevan, the delivery guy, was wonderfully polite and friendly, and handled my dishwasher with a bit of finesse - none of that crash-and-bash stuff that can happen when you give a bloke a heavy thing and a trolley. ;-) I was very happy and would use this store again.

Purchased a Westinghouse fridge, price matching Appliances Online who had a sale, but extended delivery times. Someone rang me within a couple of hours, confirmed the price and that it included postage, then called back to confirm the price match had been approved. Electrolux delivered the fridge directly a few days later, all straightforward with excellent communication.

Bought a couple of aircon units through them and found them super professional. Had some issues with delivery due to a sick driver (these things happen) and went out of their way to work around it.

I bought a Dishlex dishwasher online from The Electrical Discounter. I had shopped around and their price was unbelievable! They were cheaper than the larger retailers, who you think would be able to do the best deal. Delivery was free and it was delivered 2 working days after I purchased it. When I tried to install it, I found the water hose was too short, so I called to ask if they had a longer one in stock. Although they didn't have one, the sales person I spoke to said he'd make some inquiries and phone me back. He DID phone back promptly and let me know I could pick a hose up from Bunnings. They also offer an extended warranty and installation service. I'd definitely purchase from this company again.

Couldn't believe my new dishwasher ordered Friday night, confirmed Saturday, dispatched Monday, arrived Tuesday afternoon from Brisbane to Newcastle. The service I received over the phone was fantastic. They were very helpful and very pleasant. I would definitely order through these guys again. Thank you.

Shopped around for Mitsubuski 710 litre four door grande and the Electric Discounter were best value. Ordered it very easily and was then contacted by the company to be informed of the delivery date. Delivered by two young fellows who were excellent and quite personal. I thank them for their care and set up.

I recently bought a Westinghouse fridge. The price was much better than appliances on line, the good guys and Harvey Norman. Communication with the company, follow up phone calls, delivery and installation was excellent. They even took the packing away. Definitely will use company again.

When I was looking for a washing machine to replace my old one, we went to a few white goods store and compared prices online. TED is consistently found to have the most competitive price on offer. The delivery charge is also very reasonable, compared to major retailers. I read the reviews from this web site and thought the guys at TED cared about customer service. So I gave it a go with my first big white good online purchase. All went smoothly, the delivery guy rang us twice for a delivery date, and arranged one that fit us. The communication was clear and professional. I am satisfied with the transaction, saving me money without any hassles.

Value & Service best in my recent experience with several providers of this kind. Bought a Samsung LED TV - particular model not widely available in normal retail outlets. TED had lowest on-line cost (payment system very smooth) & they found one in Brisbane warehouse. Transit time - pickup to delivery (Melbourne) 48 hours. Email inquiry to TED about expected delivery date/time immediately responded to by TED's Shane, who included link to Courier's 'Track Your Parcel' - details of which were most helpful in arranging delivery. Strongly recommended..

Bought a chest freezer. Filled it with food it broke! We had to ring the manufacturers. We had to lug the thing to a shop 40 mins away just to be told it was brokenand return a few days later to bring it home again. Finally replaced, filled it with food again. Again it broke. They will not even pick the damn thing up. We have to drop it off if we want our refund. Partner has a bad back, they don't care. They sell faulty products.
Lost hundreds of $$$$s worth of food. Months of problems.
