Can't go through that again
Why isn't it possible to give NO STARS?
Delivery was last Sunday, now it's Tue and still no product. Sent three emails - Still no reply. Phoning them is a nightmare finally got through to the manager who's looking into it and will phone me back... stay tuned!
They said they cant deliver it for 2 weeks and to send them a email to ask for a refund - which I did. And then I bought a cheaper one from appliances online. AND then that afternoon, the freezer turns up at my place - which I returned.
And now I have spend 20 minutes trying to ge...

Panasonic sound bar wont power on 4 months old returned item for exchange or refund GOOD LUCK good guys would NOT do either item had to go for repairs then could not give a time frame of a pick up wow very bad service never again take my money happily its got a 12 month warranty not happy jan
Place order Thursday for delivery today Saturday, which was the chosen day after entering my post code for delivery options. I then called their 1300 number this morning at 9am to ask about estimated delivery time as we were waiting at home to receive order. Customer service centre rep said stay at home or don’t go as driver will call 30 minutes before delivery. She then said you’ll first receive SMS and then a call from delivery driver. Neither SMS or phone call came and it’s now 8.00pm at night and still nothing. A huge waste of precious ti...me that we’ll never get back. Funny a SMS was sent today with link to my receipt. Receipt says item is dispatched, dispatched where GG’s ? Not even a courtesy call to say we won’t be delivering today. Mind you this is to a Sydney suburb not a remote country town.
Good guys online experience
For all consumers thinking of using the Good guys online service this is our experience.
Ordered an Oppo phone online....money debited.. confirmation email sent to us.....Two days later order rejected. Rang closest store as per web instruction. Was told credentials did not pass.
Rang Help desk who claimed this cannot ever be the case..... Visited store who claimed help desk are basically an independent team who " wouldn't know".
Bosch Washing Machine 8kg
I love my new washing machine. Ordered premium delivery so my old machine was removed and new was installed. Everything went smoothly and I’m very happy ordering with Good Guys.
Should be changed to badguys, terrible staff, no respect to customers down right arrogant. These people love it when you cancel items so they can charge you a fee! Will never shop here again
Such a cluster!
Shopped online as the item was not available in-store. Once ordered, the Item not available for pickup, delivery to my door being the only choice. Paid for it then the local store called me within an hour. Why are they getting involved? E-mail received advising that my item is on the way
“ WEBADMIN Door to Door Delivery WEBDEL” supposedly from the Eastern States warehouse and I’ll be advised when the driver is coming. Yeah right!
Item gets sent to my local store and they send it to a store 76km away.
I contact the distant store and yes they have my item but have no idea why.
The Good Guys online ordering system and website is so screwed up, even their staff agree that it’s messy.
If you order online be prepared for a merry dance around.
Do not use
I had two orders cancelled after being placed online. No correspondence, just did not arrive. Then had go into store and sort. Plus time spent on phone ringing customer service to find out what is going on. So now that have over $2000 of my money, I have appliances, and I am waiting for a refund after being told many different stories.
Terrible customer service
Ordered an item online for a store pick up but item was not available even tho I received the confirmation email. Had to collect at their other store which was much further away and paid additional transport cost.
The Appalling Guys - Do not bother
Really simple review - should have been easy to order a blender and pay the $8 delivery fee instead of a special trip down to eh store to pick it up - however the Good Guys Australia Post contractor has done the usual and left a card at the front door when delivering despite people being at home - and then leaves the item at a post office that is a 30 minute round trip drive away and not the very close local post office - so the point of buying online is totally lost and what started as a simple purchase has turned into a severe annoyance - rin...ging the store (because there is no central number listed for online purchases) result sin a feeble excuse of "not our problem" and "not our contractor" - actually it is your problem and it is your contractor - an annoying and derelict process end to end from the Appalling Guys - never again from the so called Good Guys

Excellent service and fast delivery (next day in my case). It's the only company I've found that delivers during the weekend which is fantastic for people working during the week

Full Transparency ..... A Thing Of The Past
Having decided not to purchase anything from Harvey Norman ever again (as per my 2 reviews on this website) I bought two items online from The Good Guys. During the checkout process I had to enter my postcode to see what delivery options were available. Usually I opt for Click & Collect, but as I was without a car for 4 days I chose their 'Door To Door' delivery service at a cost of $5. This delivery method is described by The Good Guys as: "Taking your purchased product from one of our stores to your nominated delivery address. Door to Door...delivery is available on ALL products listed for sale and purchased online on our website". I might also add that when I entered my postcode it indicated that this was a next day service. Three days later when I hadn't received my items or even heard from anyone at The Good Guys I gave them a call. The girl I spoke with told me that my items had actually been posted to me. I asked why they hadn't been delivered to my door when that was the service I'd paid for and had been expecting. She casually, and with not so much as a sorry for any inconvenience it might have caused, informed me that smaller items weren't delivered door to door. As I could find NO mention of that anywhere in the FAQ's on their website, I can only assume that the 'Good Guys' in Toowoomba have their own rules and regulations! Nevertheless, based on the information they provided during the purchase process I was fully expecting to receive my items within a day. Instead I'll now have to wait several days for them to be sent to a mail sorting centre in Brisbane, after which time they'll be sent back to Toowoomba. That in itself is utterly ridiculous. So be warned, if your item is a small one The Good Guys will NOT deliver it 'to your door' as they (so falsely) advertise when you're making your purchase! I've come to the conclusion that full disclosure is simply beyond the grasp of most online retailers. I guess their practice of lying by omission and then casually brushing it aside when challenged about it is something we're all going to have to get used to.

I bought it and it was delivered the next day.
I had the fridge delivered the next day and the old one was taken away for a small fee.

I have had a very bad experience in the past with crappy customer service from Mile End Good Guys.
I gave them another try. Twice. Everything was fine! Third time I order my most expensive items $429. Never have I been asked for ID at the store, go to pick up my order as I'm told it's ready!!! First time ever get asked for ID after a huge wait time. Got told can't give it without ID. I didn't even bother bringing it as I've never been asked!!!! Since I paid with my account online with all my details with Latitude Pay I shouldn't even have to g...ive ID!!! I tell them I can show my credit card that has my name. Nope. Can't!!! So now I'm having to make a big drive home and then come back. I told your staff I wasn't impressed and will Never shop at any stores again. Better believe it. Never again.
THREE MONTHS and my order still has NOT arrived (0 stars)
I bought a kitchen aid food processor three months ago and it still has not arrived.
I have constantly emailed them, asking when my order will arrive. Kept getting told they would find out for me. Still nothing, three. Months. Later. $250 and $10 delivery later.

Fridge 'In Stock' NOT in stock .
My fridge died. I needed another in a hurry. The site offered next day delivery. I ordered a fridge and paid for it. Later that day they emailed saying they didn't have it in stock. The website said it did. I called to sort it out and was put on hold for 15 minutes. Then, they told me not only was that fridge not in stock, but they wouldn't have more for over a month.
I expressed my displeasure as I had food in the old fridge that needed cooling immediately. They said they could offer me a refund in the same manner I paid...except that the refund would probably take up to a week. I told them I needed this money to buy another fridge. No real apology, just, "Unfortunately that's how long it takes".
Never using them again.
Cancelled my order without telling me
I ordered a phone case from their website. I notice a week later I received an email from paypal telling me I has been refunded. I then put in an enquiry asking why it was cancelled and why I wasn't informed.
They then send me a generically written email, addressed to "online customer" to "to advise we have [due to lack of stock] cancelled your order and have begun processing your refund." At first glance this looks like the bare minimum cancellation email I would expect to be sent when my order is cancelled.
Except It's a week late and I ...can see my enquiry at the end of this email, with my name on it. And they still haven't explained why I had to prompt them to tell me my order was cancelled. Last time I ordered from Good Guys was during the Games sale debacle of 2013 where they also sold more stock then they had.
Don't use them
As below, wish i had checked reviews first. Ordered and confirmed product has not turned up; no phone call. After three calls to the listed store, now they advise me it is not in stock. Fridge has been emptied since7am and i have been waiting by the phone all day after taking time off work. People jsut don't have the time for this treatment.

Half my order arrived, no apology, just went ‘will send the other half’. They insist on a signature on pick up which means you have to wait home all day, or drive to the post office which defeats the point of on line delivery.
My several orders never turned up or have turned up late and damaged. Takes tons of effort to resolve issues. I'm overwhelmed with the poor service and support. Never again.

I’ve always had pleasant experiences in store but due to current COVID19 measures, we can only order online.
I bought an iPad half an hour ago, card was debited, but an error message came up on screen. Took a screenshot of both NAB app and payment screen. Reading these reviews make me fear that my money is going down the drain :(
I bought a supposedly new washing machine that had disgusting brown residue inside and on the hose, and when I called and emailed I was apparently only entitled to a new hose rather than a new machine which is what I paid for? Can someone please explain this logic. Otherwise I would rather return it and buy elsewhere so that I can actually get what I’ve paid for
