Our bathroom pipe was leaking, called a few plumbers before, they were giving me some ridiculous time frames, when I was about to give up, I ended up contacting these guys. They came in the next day and fixes it very fast and at a very reasonable cost.

Very dubious about charges.
Charged $181 for a what was essentially just a dripping tap in need of a new washer and o ring. Very dubious about the necessity for a 'Full Tap Service'. Won't use again.

The first honest and quick plumber I've met.
This will be my first ever review. After 39 years owning my own property it's the first time I've been lucky enough to meet an honest, reasonable and prompt plumber. They arrived 10 minutes early, diagnosed my hot water system had died and also helped me get a replacement free under warantee. Thank you so much guys.

Job was not completed and the builder ran away with our money
We engaged [name removed], Melbourne Vic who is registered as a builder to do our landscape. In his written quote, he agreed that the price quoted would include the construction of the merbau decking, garden beds, screening, planting of the plants and exposed aggregate and lawn on the designated area as per the plan. Very unreliable service!!! On 18th Aug 2017, I found The Local Tradies Plumbing on google to fix our hot water pressure. However the problem was not solved at all!! Do not engage the local tradies for plumbing works. After our solar panel cracked in the cold weather, there employee (Sam) advised just bypassing the solar altogether. This involved capping the solar panel water pipe at both ends which took a matter of about 6 minutes and the cost was $450. Their website also advertised no call out fees, but upon receipt of their invoice which was received via email after they had left, there was a $49 callout fee on the invoice. The hot water service is now playing up, and after a promise that they would attend to rectify the issue they have not turned up, not even a phone call to advise they could not make it. g with Brett, Sam and then James (who mentioned he was the manager), and all promising they would arrange for someone to attend to rectify the problem, none of the 3 has shown up, and not even a call to let us know they would not be coming out. Simply Unacceptable. Can you please confirm the conditions for the $0 call out fee, given they are not stated on the website, it says call to confirm the conditions. Terrible service - almost cost my landlord $2,500 in error!! Stay away!!
We found The Local Tradies Plumbing website on google and thought they looked reputable. The hot water was not working to the rear of the house (there are 2 hot water units) - so we organised The Local Tradies Plumbing to visit the property to assess the issue. The next day they inspected the issue, and advised that the hot water unit was old, hadn't been maintained properly and needed to be replaced at a cost of $2,500!! inspected the issue and advised within about 30 seconds flat that the reason the hot water wasn't working was because the gas company had in fact cut the gas to the property due to lack of payment of a bill! The first thing our plumber did and what every good/licensed plumber should do is check the gas meter!! There was a note from the utility company saying they had cut the gas supply. SO, why didn't The Local Tradies plumber check this as the first step?? They are supposed to be licensed plumbers! Terrible operators.
